Good park. Lots of play equipment for the kids. River runs through a large section and has lots of natural play space with trees bushes and the waterway. There is also a little pond with a bunch of ducks (please dont feed ducks bread) and if you have a keen eye and a bit of time, my kids love to sit and watch the water rats wandering throgh the reeds. There is an awesome old timber train trestle thats pretty impressive too.

Alistair Knox Park is a great place to go whilst your wife is having her haircut at a nearby salon, and you cbf going home. So you push your kids on the swings, and let them slide down the slide, and they’re happy, your wife is probably happy, and you’re ok. Cafe and library nearby is great if you like coffee, croissants, and knowledge.

This is a fantastic playground in the green, lush hills of Eltham. Toilet block, two electric BBQs, plenty of shade, great climbing and play equipment with a distinctly musical theme. Easy parking, or a short walk from Bunnings. Bike track and the train line run alongside the park.

Good park with lots of activities and play equipment for the kids to play on, big and small. Coffee shop close by as well. The toilets unfortunately were fairly disgusting so take your handwipes and toilet paper. Went back again yesterday and the toilets were spotless. Well done!

Great park with lots of space to run around and play on the kids' equipment. Then there's the library that has been beautifully designed to weave into the treed area. Don't forget to take a seat and ponder the sculpture by Matcham Skipper.

It's not a huge park, but it's fine to bring young kids as the playground on the library side often seems to be busy. Here is also a pond with a few ducks knocking around depending on the time of year. …

  • Ashley Chambers

Nice open spaces, with enough of a playground to keep the kiddies busy. The car park has plenty of space and the Shillinglaw cafe is close by, to grab a take-away coffee. We had a very nice afternoon here.

  • Tibor Congo

Great medium size park, library next door, train comes past and bike/walking track access so easy to get to, few covered tables for parties and open space for running / ball play. Great park, we go often

  • Rosa Sellitti

A beautiful place to relax, meet friends, have a picnic or just sit under a tree, reading a book borrowed from the nearby Eltham Library. Lots of wildlife, particularly ducks. Also very clean amenities.

  • Sharon Tay

Peaceful. Can barely notice the sounds of traffic from the main road. Carpark is a good size and each spot is a big enough to fit most cars. Grass is nicely mowed and the footpaths are not cracked.

This place needs a huge makeover...no grass in seating areas very difficult terrain to walk on especially for seniors Very dusty and dirty....not ideal for any sort of family gathering stay away

Friendly Family Park, Enthralling for children, exhausting for parents. Good place for picnics, or for tiring out energised children.

  • Ryan Leeds

The park is fine. The toilets are a bloody disaster. My chicken coop is better then the public toilets.
Restrooms
Terrible.
