We used Alliance for our flats for nine (or thereabouts) years. They were always prompt to come out and fix the problem. Not the cheapest but the quick response was worth it for happy tenants. We had a couple of large jobs that needed doing and used other firms because Alliance's quotes were too much, one was 40% less, the other was 25% less. That's OK, we accept that Aliance has larger overheads than those firms. Then we had a blocked basin. They came and poured acid down the pipe which didn't fix it and said pipes needed to be replaced because of rust build-up. Sent a bill for that visit ($60 + service call, ta very much), plus a quote for $680 to replace 4M of easily accessable pipes. When I went to the property a few days later I noticed the inspection plug in the first elbow hadn't been touched, it was painted brass so any work would have been obvious. Opened it to find a wad of dental floss wrapped around a couple of cotton bud sticks, removed it and the pipe cleared. Looked in the pipes and there was no visible rust build up. The manager argued with me when I rang, said no-one ever looks at the i/o's any more, and that acid is the proper way to fix the problem, said I didn't know what I was talking about when I said his guy should have checked the inspection outlet. So that's how they lost a long time customer. Edit: Just saw the owner's response, it is the correct firm (see invoice), but I will not be contacting them after that phone call. I had a burst pipe and the water was leaking underground for the last month or so and I figured that out by the pure coincidence just simply checking my meter one morning. So started frantically looking for a plumber to be able to fix this for me asap. My friend recommended Alliance Plumbing as she has the similar problem not so long ago. I rang the office they said no one will be able to attend my property just for the inspection, fair enough, they are busy, totally understand. That was Friday. The earliest time they can arrive and MAYBE do the job at the same time would be Monday. Well, ok... I've been living with it for a month I guess 2 more days won't get me broke (was constantly switching my meter on and off). As I work full time I asked to give me a call 30 min prior to arrival and repeated several times to the receptionist or whoever that was answering phones. And guess what, no phone calls except the guy calling me saying he is outside of my house. Sorry, he can't wait for me. Sorry, the earliest he can get back to me is Wednesday. Sorry, no one has actually instructed him. Well, sorry is not simply enough when clear instructions have been given several times. Had to waste my time trying to find another plumber, who actually done everything efficiently and called me several times as I asked as not only you're busy, other people have jobs too.

Alliance Plumbing recently provided a number of services for a bathroom renovation project - including fitting a vanity & toilet seat, plumbing in some taps and installing a backflow valve. The three plumbers (one of which was Mark) who attended over the two days were fantastic, friendly and the price was great - in stark contract to our experiences with a different, supposedly "high end" plumbing firm that we used prior for other parts of this renovation project. Only slight downside was the late (by 90 minutes) arrival on the second day, causing our tiler to wait around - but they did call us and let us know. Otherwise, we're absolutely thrilled with the quality of the work by Alliance Plumbing - so much so, that we'll be getting them back to do the other bathroom in early 2021. Highly recommended - we now have a plumber we can trust and rely on. Alliance Plumbing was recommended to us by a friend - word of mouth really does work!

I had alliance replace plumbing from mains water to house after issues were identified on building and pest. Communication was good and service efficient. However, only after moving into the property at a later date I uncovered that the piping hadn’t been laid to code (section overground instead of under). This had been disguised behind plants and a mound of dirt heaped on top. After raising this, a worker came out to rectify the job and blamed a colleague for completing this section. However when I raised concern about the depth of the rest of the job and requested a section be dug up to check, it turned out the entire job had been laid too shallow and needed to be dug up again and resituated. Unsure whether it’s because I'm a woman and they assumed they could get away with it, that I wasn’t living in the property at the time or that the plumbers were not industrious. Regardless, a job should simply be done correctly the first time.

It is very difficult to find and hire really trustworthy plumbers but Alliance Plumbing, in Coorparoo, recommended to me by a neighbour, is incredibly good. I have never felt so safe when it comes to having plumbers in the home knowing that they're doing everything they can to assist with any and all issues in such a professional, helpful and understanding manner. I have a nasty leaking shower and on the day I found I had this problem, I contacted the Alliance office and Narleen. Mark was here within one hour, sorting out the options for repair. I recommend this business to everyone in the area but also to those living outside of Coorparoo or Holland Park. They are well worth it & their prices are extremely competitive and fair.

We contacted Alliance plumbing to find a leak and fix it. They attended, dug a hole to the base of the tap, didn't find the leak or fix anything. Put a camera up the storm water pipe, then charged $330 to tell us to get a leak detector out to find the leak. A big company ripping of little people. They would have known from the start we needed a leak detector yet continued to do work They could resolve. Disgraceful. And from there we had to dig the trench 2m x 1m to find the leak and my husband brother had to fix it. Be honest with people!

I organised Alliance Plumbing to attend for a pre purchase inspection. They followed through with everything that was arranged including notifying me 30 minutes before arriving onsite. I was astounded by the professionalism shown and the detail of the inspection including CCTV for the storm-water and drainage. The money was well spent being that it uncovered some issues with the property. Alliance has been coming to our home in 2021. This year a nasty bathroom leak required a full strip out. I cannot stress their professionalism enough. Everything from the demolition to choice of shower screens, clean up and re-installation. They are an absolute blessing to our home on Lancaster street, Coorparoo. We had Alliance Plumbing come do an inspection on a property we had put an offer on. It was a cottage style Queenslander which we knew would require some work on it after our B&P inspection. We were able to negotiate an additional $4000 off our offer price with the quote and scope of works Alliance provided. I would always recommend getting a B&P, stump, plumbing and possibly electrical inspection when interested in purchasing older homes - it may cost a bit upfront but can save you thousands in the long run.

If you are looking for honest plumbing services, give these guys a call! Mark is great to do business with and I would highly recommend. I’m sure others act with similar levels of integrity. I would definitely call these guys again! Didn’t know where to go for a good plumber that wouldn’t rip me off as I don’t know how much things cost. I usually only need a leaking tap changed if I can’t do it myself. Be reasonable and they will be fair to you as well. That is something I definitely respect . Thanks guys!

I contacted Alliance plumbing regarding a quote for a small bathroom renovation. They did attend the following week and provided some information about what could be done and took measurements. They said a quote would be emailed the following week, that was over 3 weeks ago and I have had no contact since either by email or phone. Better to know now I guess if they are this unreliable and waste your time. I assume this is what they do when they aren't interested in doing a job.

Poor service . Quoted $200 for electric eel and told of extra prices for time if needed . Nobody called me to say it was going to take longer . I told them of the problem and the guy was using a stick instead of the correct tools . Stayed longer used products and left with no call to me . You know when you leave your car a that mechanics and they just do extra work and you get a shock . That’s the feeling you’ll get !! Also I’m exactly where I was before they came . Not helpful

Had a burst water pipe. Within an hour a quick inspection from Dave the plumber who then advised to use a water detection specialist to locate leak as it was under a thick concrete slab. Early next morning, Dave and an apprentice got on the job by cutting the concrete slab where the leak was marked, replaced pipe and then re-did the concrete slab. All done within 5 hours. Very relieved and happy with the fix. Friendly and easy to deal with. Price was reasonable. Thank you.

I have always used alliance plumbing, their work is always good and they are reliable. My latest experience was no different; Brodie attended promptly when I had a midnight plumbing crisis and fixed it. He and and Dave subsequently attended during daylight and sorted all my taps, understanding what I wanted perfectly. I am now biting the bullet and replacing piping and HWS. I would not do that if I did not trust them. Good work all round.

Highly recommend Alliance Plumbing. Engaged Alliance Plumbing to replace the 60 year old, ageing and leak prone galvanised pipe supplying the house. Hasan ran a new main supply pipe and make all the connections to the existing kitchen, bathroom basin, shower, laundry, toilet and outdoor tap from the under the highset house. Super impressed with Hasan's work, he was tidy, very profressional and skilled in his work.

Hot water system was pouring out water so needed someone to come out pretty quickly to help. Was charged $418 for half an hours work on a Saturday at lunch time!! Hardly what I would call "after hours". Can't fault the guy that came to do the work, he was professional and very helpful! Hence the reason for giving 2 starts instead of one. The cost however is absolutely disgusting. Do not call if it's after hours!!

The guys did such a great job at my place. Was dealing with Mark, a charming Irish gentleman, he quoted the work and made recommendations which was helpful 'cause I know zero about plumbing. They were punctual and neat with their workmanship. They identified some messy work by previous plumbers and fixed it for me and identified the source of a sinkhole in my yard and fixing that the next day. Highly recommend!

Brodie was punctual and thorough. He was very helpful and alerted me to a problem with our solar panels which needed repair - something not noticed by another company quoting on the job. He worked quickly and effectively and showed me (with photos) where the problems were on our roof. Alliance office staff are also friendly and efficient. I thoroughly recommend Alliance Plumbing.

Very happy with the quality of work provided by Mark. He removed and installed a double sink, 900mm Gas Hob and a water filtration setup. None of these jobs were particularly easy given the tight dimensional constraints. He persevered despite the challenges and clearly took great pride in his work. The finished job is great and has endured over 6 months now.

These guys are the best, if you need a plumber call them, the man they sent out to me, Mark, was on time and very easy to get on with. Alliance Plumbing and in particular Mark helped me out of a difficult situation at the 11th hour prior to a sale settlement and prices very reasonable, I cannot thank them enough.

Our drain blocked at 10:30 pm and could not unblock it by ourselves. We had some very noisy water pipes which were making a very loud banging sound. Very hard to sleep when the washing machine was GOING.! Other plumbers couldn't fix the issue after paying a lot of money. Alliance fixed it in less than an hour. Great experience and highly recommended!

Very poor. From the first phone call they were not interested. Asked a couple of questions but never listened to my answers. Then told me they were too busy and too far away - I'm twenty minutes from their location. Try someone else was their recommendation. Absolutely I will.
