I like this place, their is lots of culture and tranquility. I believe it's also a pretty good place hero have a picnic or relax with the family. Good space and local shop just down the street, you couldn't count how many times I went there to hangout with my friends on a Monday arvo. Melbourne is a great place to be. 10 out of 10.
Awesome park catering for all ages, plenty of equipment including exercise stations for adults and is adjacent to a field for running around and ball sports. Has a public toilet which was good and picnic tables/chairs for those that way inclined. No undercover areas though but still lots of fun.
Great public park boasts lots of open space, dog friendly spaces, footy oval, excercise equipment, basketball courts, and playgrounds for kids of varying ages. Also has fairly clean public restrooms and gas BBQ grills. Many bicycles and scooters ride through, so just keep an eye on the littles.
Nice to walk through and. Flying fox amongst other play stuff for kids..inc big kids..and a gym too..and a small pond that has weird spounding frogs. I think they are what make the noise haha. Lastly, it is dog friendly/off leash, and it has nice tropical paths to enjoy with your furry besty.
The park has everything you want. Water, exercise area, barbecue and a little playground. The only down side is the toilets are not kept in a good condition one of the toilet seats in the mens toilets are missing and the toilets rarely have toilet paper but apart for that pretty good stuff
Great fun for smaller children. Lots of places for inventive play as well as the usual swings and slides. There's a picnic area with a barbecue and lots of areas for adventurous activities with a soft cushioned ground. There is also gym equipment for older kids and adults.
Beautiful park divided by the Sandringham Railway Line. East of the line is a dog friendly off lead park and on the west side there's a variety of facilities and sports grounds as well as gardens a cafe. Plenty to see and do here! Well done City of Port Phillip!
Has great restrooms. A vast amount of play equipment including a flying fox. There is a book swap box there. Is really a massive park with play equipment for all different ages. One of my favourite. Good to get there early as parking is not easy when it's busy
Family based park, next to dog park. Lovely to walk through and see people out & about. There's a BBQ area, 3 kids play grounds, basketball courts and an oval. Lots of Personal Trainers here training people and people exercising. A busy place.
Love this place ALOT. Came here after school and weekends with my friends to hang out and my whole class sometimes would meet up for events here. Cool place to have fun , even in grade 6 - 7. Hours of having a good time at the park and then
Awesome kids (& adults) playground with lots of exciting activities, zip line, climbing ropes, slides & swings as well as exercise equipment for the adults to keep in shape. Well manicured grounds as well as an off leash dog area …
This is a lovely playground and there is a beautiful park next door as well there is fitness equipment and a cool flying fox but the clientele is a bit stuck up but there is a BBQ area and a cool mosaic and a train line nearby which is very
A regular park for our family. We've held birthday parties there, everyone joins in so it's a great atmosphere at this park. BBQs. Adult exercise equipment that will remind you of all theuscles you had before kids lol....if you're as old as
Nice location, central (almost) to St Kilda East locality. The exercise station that's recently been installed by the Council is a big hit with young and old alike. The footy oval allows for ample space for youngsters to run around, while
Alma road is a.peaceful sanctuary in the middle of the city. There are a number of really good children's play areas, great gardens & its a really nice place to sit & relax. On my way home from swimming I grab a coffee & sit in the park.
Alma Park is great fun for many ages. Of you're children are young then take note that there is no fence around the equipment. All ages can have a blast. Field yo play footy, gym equipment, flying fox, slides, swings and there are
Great park with good quality play equipment, solid outdoor gym, good soccer oval and basketball courts. The oval and courts are sometimes used by St Mary's but otherwise open to public making which is fantastic I think.
A great park for kids of all ages. A central picnic / seating area allows parents to keep an eye out as the kids explore the park. A couple of climbing playgrounds, a flying fox for big kids and another for
This is a great little playground. The kids love the flying fox. We kicked a footy about in the oval next door and enjoyed another hour of play afterwards.
Took the dogs for a run. Leash free wasn't fenced unfortunately but they had a good time. Plenty of bins for poop but we found only 1 drink spot for them
Great park with various games for children. Lots greens around, off leash dog playground in the back. There are even machines for doing exercices.
Enjoy a leisurely walk or sit & relax along the tree lined and landscaped walkway, with plenty of space for your dog/s to walk and bound about.
Great fun park for kids and adults. Lots to do . Great amenities toilets, water fountain oval, fitness park, flying fox BBQ and seating …
Love the wetland area and giant fig tree for nature exploring (lots of minibeasts) and the flying fox is super popular with the kids.
Fun park for all ages. Plenty of space for walking animals, play, public toilets available. Parking can be hard at busy times
EDIT: Reduced to 1 star from 4 - playground area is covered with huge, disgusting, obscene, political graffiti.
Its huge, it's new and it's funky! Alma park is a beautiful example of a council seeing that kids love what's
Great park for families and children. Electric BBQ, tables and chairs and toilets. Great exercise/gym area
It’s great place for a BBQ and a picnic and had a great oval and a playground
Great dog park , but no poo bags , port Philip council too tight …
Really cool park to enjoy for breeze awesome vibes to feel with!
10/10 has a flying fox and many other cool poles to play on
Like the GYM outside, some work needed Laverty important?
Great park, being renovated at the moment though.
