Relatively large parkland embracing the Northcote Bowling Club, Cricket club whose facilities are shared with a soccer club. Heidelberg road end contains a very nice garden section and a good area of children's play equipment. Abultion block is on-site with facilities for disabled guests and all genders. Past cricket oval section is a Lower parkland area extending down to the Yarra precinct. On Saturday afternoons and Tuesday nights the Northcote Obedience Dog Club holds classes. Whole parkland is surrounded by formed pathway and at certain times dog's are allowed to be off lead.

Would be hard pressed to find another hidden gem like this park so close to suburban streets, yet so close to the Yarra River, bird life and tranquillity. The ABC Alphington Bowls Club is on the perimeter and the new apartments on the old Paper Mills site are shaping up. The Alphington Swimming Club met not far from the park. It was active for over 70 years. There are still remnants that remain, like the concrete toddlers pool, and the tiered seating for spectators. Well worth a visit.

Excellent park. Quite a distance in length and morphs into five different park types as you go - garden / playground to sporting fields to open park land to wetlands to river bank. Has all the facilities you would want. Walking paths are wide and solid until you get to the far back.

Great. Place. Nice people exercising . Running. Playing with their dogs. Thank you council for maintaining this park. I am home becayof this pandemic. So are many others. This puts some sanity back in our lives with Nature. Regards Peter.

Great multipurpose park and ovals. Bloody cold, expect about 10 degrees colder than somewhere else if you're having a bbq. Fantastic in summer though! Bbq, playground, 2 picnic tables, ovals, many different places to walk and see.

A lovely community park with a nice wall down to the Yarra River. Also the home of the mighty Alphington Bowling Club! Here a picture of the Alphington Football Club 2018 women's team going into a huddle just before a game.

They need bins on both sides of the park. Also, the drug rules are dumb. no one adheres to them which goes to show that the council is out of touch

Such an important open space in an inner suburban area. Well used by locals for sports,games, recreational walking and Guide Dog Training!

Great park for family BBQ's , children playground, cricket / football / soccer oval to play on and walking trails along beside Yarra River

Lovely club run by nice people. The venue was closed throughout and very damp underfoot. Main pitch had a cricket pitch in the middle.

Good park for kids with lots of play equipment and toilet facilities both disabled and ambulatory. Shops nearby for the kids snacks.

Great place to walk around. Has plenty of sealed walkways and seating. Only has side street parking.
