I shop a lot! I’m addicted to shopping! Lots of stores have cute stuff and are expensive. Every time I shop at Anthropology the sales people are not the friendliest, but Anthropology in New Orleans was down right rude! I wanted to buy a gift card without my daughter knowing. While my daughter shopped downstairs I went upstairs to secretly buy a gift card. After getting their attention and feeling like I was interrupting their talk with friends they refused to sell me a gift card. I was told I had to go downstairs where my daughter would see. I wish they would have brought one upstairs it is Christmas Eve. I sadly left without it and probably am done with Anthropology. I spend too much money for rude service!

The store is clean and neatly organized. Colorful and vibrant. I walked in with red bottoms and a Chanel bag on my arm. They followed us, however, I asked them questions and they responded professionally. Flip the script. I even asked the employee for a dressing room. Canal shops has a lot of theft. You can’t find an employee anywhere when you are in need of a different size. They didn’t care to check up on us. So we just grabbed whatever we needed to try on. Had the clothes been, meh, I would not have dropped money. It was successful sales and Im awaiting my commission check (in Lil Jon Voice; Yeaaahhhhh!)

I would give this place 0 stars. Very unprofessional. Most black people do not steal and can afford to buy nice and expensive things just as the next. We were followed around the store. I called out the employee because she made me feel very uncomfortable. I’m a very well educated, degreed, and successful RN. Should you or your family end up in my care I promise not to treat you differently though. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. They missed out on a few hundred dollars because we were ready to shop. Horrible experience. My first and last time in their establishment.

I frequent Anthropologie stores often but at this particular location, a friend and I were followed the entire time! There was no greeting, no assistance offered or pleasantries exchanged by the associates yet they followed us around for 20 mins nonstop. It was so rude and uncomfortable! We finally confronted one of the associates about this and she became defensive. It’s unfortunate that people of color continue to experience this. I will not continue to shop at this retail store.

I really like Anthro, but I don't go here that often. The service is great, but they seem to have pared down their clothing section and expanded the home selection. It feels like it's less than 50% clothing now, and I wish they offered a lot more. When you go to other Anthros they have more.

Jennifer and Karen are the absolute most wonderful sales associates! Shopping with them is so much fun! They helped me to find the perfect outfits with their expert guidance! It was a joy to shop at this Anthro location thanks to these two ladies!

As an employee at Canal Place who is always in uniform and a frequent visitor, I do get the feeling of being followed. Rarely assisted. Beautiful merchandise but I’d much rather take my business where it’s wanted.

Horrible customer service if you do not look a certain way. I received the same treatment at a Hawaii location but decided to try again here in Nola, same horrible service. Will never shop here again.

Store was nice, it was my first time there my co-worker told me about it. Really didn’t like being followed around & stared at the entire time. FYI all black people don’t seal. I won’t be back.

Two-story store inside Canal place and steps away from other local shopping. Everything is really well organized and clean. Be sure to go upstairs and downstairs to find all the sales.

Youth oriented and trendy. Appealing in a trendy sense. Quality and different design. Prices on the high side, but I feel you get what you pay for in the complete package.
