Short version: Not getting back to chat messages or answering the phone is a huge issue for me. Longer version: Script went in on June 1st and derma said the meds are delivered and arrive within a day of the pharmacy calling me. No call the next day and they are closed for the weekend. I call on Monday June 5th-- no answer. The 6th I leave a "chat" message. There is no email address you just have to leave a chat message. Strange to me. This process of calling the number hoping for an answer continues for a week. My dermatologist put the script in again, no call from the pharmacy again. Anyway, about two and a half weeks later of me trying to get ahold of a person, somebody actually answered. Turns out, Apotheco had my phone number wrong in their system and said that was the one given to them by the derma. I called the derma to get my phone number corrected, but they had the right number, so I don't know where things went wrong. Now that we're set up, maybe I'll leave a review about how the refills go, but it took about two and a half weeks for the scripts to finally get to our home. Again, the fact that Apotheco did not respond to chat messages or answering the phone is a huge negative for me.

The hours are really terrible for office professionals. I called to let them know that I was on my way and expected to be there right around closing time. Then I asked if I could still pick up. They said I could pick up before the door was locked, but they had locked it by 5:02 anyway. Really wish they could have worked with me better after my call. I hoped to get my prescription faster than the delivery date but I need to wait anyway now. My initial prescription order also didn’t go through properly. The app told me it was confirmed but it had to be sent through again to actually be filled. After I couldn’t pick up on Monday, on Tuesday they offered to deliver it to my house. I gave them until after the holiday and called back today to follow up because I have not received it. Although the person I spoke to said that the prescription would be sent out the same day, the person today told me that it was still set for pick up. It never went out as promised. Two full weeks have gone by since I first requested a refill and I have had a significant lapse in my prescription because of online and in-store mishaps. It keeps getting more and more disappointing.

Whoever answered the phone February 8'th at 12:57pm was absolutely horrible. She was unnecessarily discriminatory against a low-income patient. I have county care insurance, Medicaid for those that don't know, and so as you can imagine not much is covered. I was previously prescribed a different medication by my dermatologist and filling it at this location was no trouble despite it not being covered. I had to pay out of pocket but that was expected. I was even given a coupon. The woman I spoke to this time insisted that that was impossible, could not have happened, and since I did not have coverage on my new medications they were not going to be filled. She was rude, short with me and refused to listen to my previous experience without interrupting me. She insisted that with the insurance I had I was not going to be able to get my medicine. I spoke with my dermatologist who has since sent me to a new pharmacy where filling the medication despite it not being covered was just fine, I paid out of pocket with a coupon that made it affordable. Just as I did through whoever I spoke to the FIRST time I went through this location.

For some reason my provider sent my prescription to this pharmacy. I told my provider that I wanted it to go one of my pharmacies because my insurance doesn't cover all pharmacies. The provider's assistant was adamant that the bill would be cheaper through this pharmacy. When the pharmacy called and told me how much the prescription was, and I was quoted the cost, I thought it was terribly expensive but asked is that after my insurance? And the representative told me, yes, it is after the insurance. I told her to go ahead and mail it to me. Later I checked my insurance and found out that my prescription insurance provider paid zero abd I was not informed. This thing is bad business and I am going to also contact the provider's office and make a complaint to them about this. So I paid full price for medicine that I should have only paid a copay for. And over the phone they should have told me that my insurance did not pay anything! I would have canceled canceled the prescription. I don't like being lied to.

After my son had a dermatologist appointment June 30th, the front desk at the dermatologist office told me they called in a prescription and I should have it in a few days. My son received 2 prescriptions. While I was driving home, someone from Apotheco called and said they could process one of the prescriptions but the other ne came from New York. I tried a couple of times to call back and get the details of the order that was coming from New York. I left at least one message. No one called me back and I wasn’t able to get ahold of someone until July 12th. At that point my 2nd medication ordered After the a I was told using this service. I asked why no one processed the order or why no one called me back. She said I needed to call in (I already spoke to someone) and a different person listens to messages. I think you could do a better job at ordering and following up with customers. If a customer calls and leaves a message, their cell should be returned promptly.

I’m giving it 2 stars because of the delivery, twice already I’ve had problems with delivery. Last month they’ve said that they attempted to deliver the medication but no one was home. Not true waited all day for it & called the next day to see what had happened. This time they said delivery time was between 1-5pm I specifically left instructions for them to ring me doorbell since I’m in a condo. The delivery person delivered the medication at 9:20pm which I think it’s a bit late. He called instead of ringing bell. My daughters were looking out for a ringing door bell I wasn’t near my phone luckily I was able to call right after it rang & the delivery guy was still around to deliver the package. In the envelope it had the instructions given by me. Who ever is doing the delivery is doing a terrible job, I normally give a decent tip in appreciation but not this time. Hopefully the delivery will improve, had no issues before but as I mentioned it’s the second time.

Do not use this pharmacy. I have been using Apotheco since early this year for my son’s medicine. I was told it was not covered by my insurance. I had questioned this at the time but they ensured me it was double checked and not covered. I have been paying out of pocket. Fast forward months and $750+ later I call my insurance to follow up and they tell me is covered the pharmacy should have requested for prior authorization from my doctor. I’m basically enraged. The money has come and gone at this point. It’s the principle of the matter. These people are trusted with your health and knowledge of your insurance, even after I had questioned the coverage on two occasions. I feel very taken advantage of. I’m going to be reporting to any and all agencies that are used to monitor this sort of fraudulent behavior.

I was directed to this place because I was told by my doctor that I could get my prescription delivered to my door on the same date, instead of going to my convenient, local pharmacy. This was on a Friday morning. Instead, at 4 pm, when my doctor’s office was closed, I received a text from this establishment saying that my prescription could not be delivered until Tuesday. I called and asked when I could pick it up and was told that they were closed all weekend. Therefore, I had to stop work and run over and pick it up right away if I wanted it before Monday. I did not have a good experience and would not go this route again.

Apotheco has amazing customer services and speedy turnaround time. The staff in-house is caring, warm and kind. Their team of area representatives, whom I was fortunate enough to speak with in my first encounter at the pharmacy, are informative, insightful and helped provide clear insight into the courier process. I love being able to pay online and the next day my medication is delivered right to me door. I always feel welcome to call over with questions on the medication. When I received a call from the pharmacy stating my doctor had sent them my prescription, I said I would not drive that far to pick it up and didn’t know why she sent the prescription there. The person on the phone was very pleasant and let me know that the doctor sent it to them because she knew it wouldn’t be covered by insurance and this pharmacy has coupons and discounts that other pharmacies do not have. She also said they could deliver it to me for free. I said yes! Please! And 2 days later it was delivered to my doorstep.

Apotheco contacted me the day after my visit to the provider to inform me that my insurance did not cover that particular medication. They told me they would contact the provider to see if there was an alternative or generic medication. The next day I was contacted again and told there was a generic product available at a much more reasonable cost. They verified my address and the prescription arrived the very next day. Customer service is excellent and the speed of delivery was very quick

This is the second time I’ve had issues with this pharmacy. The doctor recommended that I use them for a lower price. I need a next day delivery now the medicine says it will be delivered on Wednesday and the pharmacy is only open m-f 8-5. What if you need medication prescribed outside of this time window? Will not use again. Stick to CVS or literally anywhere else. People on the phone here also act rude and annoyed when asked questions.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS: Like other reviews, this pharmacy would pile on extra charges to your insurance with zero notice to you. I was charged for a prescription for the insurance negotiated price, but separately and without any billing information, a $500 to my HRA. No receipt, no text, no email, nada. I only found out months later when I realized that my HRA was exhausted.

Great delivery and love they provide this service, but I had difficulty actually placing the order. The text I received to finalize the order wouldn't let me order with my email address saying it was already being used by another account (my account), yet there was no option to log in. I finally used my secondary email just to get the order in. Very frustrating.

Ordering was easy, shipping was quick, and staff was very helpful in setting up my account. My doctor’s office sent them my information so they had a quote ready for me when we set up my account. The absolute best part? They found discounts to make a medicine that the chain pharmacy wanted $700 for only cost me $55. So happy my doctor recommended them!

Absolutely recommend! The pharmacist was incredibly helpful and kind. My prescriptions are *significantly cheaper* and delivered faster through Apotheco compared to the pharmacy I was previously using. They also gave me free samples with my prescription, which was an unexpected bonus (who doesn't love samples?). I wish I had switched pharmacies sooner.

Very dissaapointed! They keep sending me links to pay for my medication but for some reason it did not recognize my address. Called the pharmacy, they put my address in the system, still no luck. Keep calling the pharmacy, leaving messages...eventually someone called me back and....hug up on me!!! My prescription expired. End of story. Unbelievable.

Apotheco makes ordering our prescriptions so convenient! They are friendly and professional on the phone whenever I call. Unlike other prescriptions, we never run out before we refill. They contact us with reminders and easy links to set up our refills. Then they deliver it right to our door within a day or two. It doesn’t get easier than that!

What a great service. They charge an incredibly reasonable price for medications not covered by insurance (saving me potentially hundreds of dollars), use my insurance for medications that ARE covered and then on top of that, provide fast, free delivery. Customer service is top notch, too. Couldn’t recommend more!

Doctor sent my Rx to Apotheco when the price at CVS was too high (even with insurance). I was told it would cost around $35, but ended up being free with a manufacturer coupon Apotheco was applying at the time. Customer service over the phone was great and the free delivery was made earlier than expected.

The pharmacy representative on call was rude. She instead of listening carefully, was jumping on the conclusions when was asked of package not being delivered per their given time. I didn’t like the delivery service either. I was told I would get my medicine within 2 days but was delivered 2 days late.

Reading the delivery date would have help this score. I went to the trouble of postponing the delivery for 10 days while i was away from home. I was notified of the delivery 1 day after i left. In my mind, a pharmacy should be on top of following instructions. Kudos for quick turnaround.

They initially told me the medication was going to require prior authorization from my doctor. However, they called me back two minutes later and said they ran it again, and my insurance covered the full amount. Free shipping. Can't beat that! Overall a pleasant and painless experience.

I used Apotheco once recently. My insurance company at first was not wanting to cover the prescription. Apotheco reached out to me and the doctor and handled everything from there with the prescription covered and then shipped it out very quickly. The experience was impressively good.

This product is amazing for oily skin!! It helps to decrease the oil production and clear the skin. Extremely thankful thus far as it’s only been a week! The inflammation has tremendously gone done and it helps bring out the oily wax, yet decreases the oil production!

They were extremely quick and friendly. I couldn't pick it up so I was able to pay using my YSA card and have my husband pick up my medication. While it would of costs me $100+ from other pharmacy, they were able to find me a deal to just pay $10! Highly recommend!

My first order was fine. My next two were not. One order after over a week I still haven't recvd. I called and was told they couldn't locate my shipment. The next my Dr order for a 60g tube I recvd a 30 but was charged more that I was for the 60g size.
