  • "I visited this pharmacy today because my 16-month-old baby is sick! of course, I thought her antibiotics will be prepared since just so you know I had and hour and 15 minutes drive from the doctors office to this pharmacy!The doctor put the order right the way so it would be just come and go for me since my daughter is sick with 103 F temperature!Of course they were not ready yet the young lady who took care of me was really mean and trying to show me attitude from the beginning!I asked her simple questions how many antibiotics is there because I knew there should be three ! One for eyes infection,one for eyer infection and one for throat infection!She’s telling me there is only one for eyes infection because the other two they don’t have any so I have to find other walgreens and she has no idea which one !!!!I said can you please call and find me one !I thought that’s why they’re there to help people!!Then she’s telling me she will ask “pharmacy doctor “ how far I have to drive to get this medication so the “pharmacy doctor” not helpful at all showing attitude from the beginning that Im bothering her to call for me and ask !I believe her name was Michael Toll blonde young lady is telling me the closest one is Belmont and Oak Park I said ok I will do anytime to just get this antibiotics!Im on my way there and what I am finding out is that there is two antibiotics in one and it’s really hard to get it since there is RSV virus going on they’re out of stock but eventually the Oak park pharmacy doctor He did everything what he could and found me one 35 minutes drive and that Pharmacy Doctor Michael put my daughter’s antibiotics in Michigan City Walgreens!!!If you don’t know how to do your job please find another one ! At the end of the day I hope you feel better what you did to me and my daughter!"

I see my prevoius review was removed.smh The first time i tried to print documents from this store i informed the staff i did not know what i was doing and if i could be assisted. I was presented a cord and no further help as the employees continued to stand by the photo counter and have a conversation instead of helping me. I ended up leaving as a result. I returned today to give the store a 2nd chance only to recieve the same poor service. While i was waiting at the computer to print the clerk comes and helps the person who came after me first. Although she did try to help me it was less then a 1 min interaction and she walked away. I did not kno what i was doing still, i sat there and waited only to recieve no help so i left once again. I called in to speak with management only to realize she was 1 of the persons from the first altercation who stood by having a conversation off to the side. Explains alot, how can you practice good customer service when management is not. The phone conversation was pointless as her excuse was that they are under staffed. Hire more people, and train them properly, you do not move on to another customer when you have not successfully helped the first one.

I would give 0 stars if I could. It was my first time having a Walgreens express pickup pass so naturally I got into that line with no people, while the regular line had a lot of people in it. I waited for a good 10 minutes, assuming that maybe express was closed or the pharmacist would eventually come over and help me. He kept taking more people in the other line so I wanted to ask if express is open but he ignored me the first two times I tried to ask. I finally got his attention the third time and he said there’s just one line for everyone. I looked at the line and it was even longer than when I first got there. I’m not mad because the express pickup was closed, I’m mad because none of the 6 people working at the pharmacy took a few seconds to tell me I’m in the wrong line. Instead, they pretended that I wasn’t there, and I ended up wasting my time in a line that I didn’t know was closed. I ended up leaving without my prescription.

My ATM card got stuck in the machine. The very nice and helpful lady at the register informed me that I would have to call the company on the machine myself. I looked into my purse and notice that I didn't have my cellphone with me. The manager Brian went out of his way to help me retrieve my card from the machine. I have been living in this area for 30 years. When this Walgreens was built in the late 90's the service has always been excellent. From all of the reviews it looks like the problem is with the pharmacy not the store itself. The pharmacy does need improvement I also have had problems in the past and go to the Central and Montrose Walgreens instead. At times we have to look at ourselves and the attitudes we carry into a store and the day to day problems we have before we judge everyone as a whole. When you are sick you just want to crash in bed and not deal with anything.

Several staff members wouldn't let my toddler aged son use the washroom long before closing. All were chit chatting in the cosmetic aisle. When I left to the front to pay for my items saw the same employee who stated he was cleaning the bathroom stop and chat with another person I stated oh I see your cleaning the washroom his response " do you want to supervise me?" I said no thank you and he said "then don't gie me a hard time". Poor customer service is clearly thier mantra at this location. As someone who worked at Walgreens previously I would never have treated or been allowed to stand around with a long line and refuse patrons to use the restroom 30 minutes before closing. Won't be shopping here. Too many wanna be thugs with poor attitudes.

out of all the Walgreens that I go to in the neighborhood its unfortunate that I live so close to this Walgreens and time and time again the staff is extremely rude unwelcoming and overall seem bothered by customers. Management tonight proved to be the same as well I had a interaction with Annette a sales associate and a manager I didn't get her name because she wasn't wearing a name tag but she was older with blonde hair. Before I even finished asking my question I right away said no which later on when I actually explained what I was looking for they said yes. Its unfortunate for the company and the neighborhood to have staff act like this toward customers. I would not recommend anyone to shop at this location.

On 5/28/2021 1pm. My doctor sent prescription to Walgreens Pharmacy on Addison and Austin 5935 West Addison to be exact. I've been calling repeatedly to see if it was available no one picked up the phone from the pharmacy. So I showed up to pick up my prescription on 5/29/2021. The pharmacist Beata Sikora, PharmD CHOSE TO ONLY FILL one prescription I'm being told they have no reason why she did not do both now I have to wait another hour at least to get my other prescription this is ridiculous they treat people here like they're second-class citizens here... there is no accountability here and I received poor customer service from Loretta pharmacy tech it was like pulling teeth to get info from her

Whole staff is unhelpful. First off I called the pharmacy to check if they had a certain prescription medicine in-stock. The lady told me it was "over-the-counter medicine" so I asked her to see if they had it in the store and she told me "call back and dial a different department". I also had an incident where they looked over my photos that I had developed and threatened to "issue a ticket" to me because I was printing passport photos for $0.29. She proceeded to tell me that the pictures are flagged and the government will not accept them yet the government website states I can print my own photos if I want!!! I don't know who trains these workers there? No customer service etiquette at all.

I don’t typically write negative reviews, but I’d like to share that this Walgreens has the slowest lines for drop off and pick up of prescriptions. There does not seem to be a care for the customers at this establishment; I have particularly witnessed families with small children and elderly individuals waiting in line for a long time to be served. This is unacceptable. There needs to be more attendants put on the schedule to help facilitate customer care or some other change needs to be made to fill the needs of this Walgreens. Do not go here if you are unable to stand for long periods of time! Personally, I have decided to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy and try elsewhere.

Double check the receipt before you leave . Just like any store the Sale tag is fake and don’t apply at the register. This item was supposed to be 6.99 per the tag but they changed 8.99 and of course google won’t let me post the photo . Don’t opt for the digital receipt! Didn’t see the Scam until later when I checked my email. Make their expensive self give you paper and check the price . These stores have long gotten on my nerves w this bait and switch . If it was us stealing $2 we would get arrested or beat up in the process. Update and that little $5 off coupon for your next visit - they won’t honor it. They claim it’s your next next visit . I’ll never give Walgreens another cent .

This location has horrible customer service. My mother has had many issues when she goes to pick up medications. The last time she went; one of the employees there gave my mother an address so she could go on a wild goose chase. The address was of a location that has been closed for a while. They have also told her the medicines are ready and when she goes to pick them up they suddenly are not ready and don't have them in stock. I don't know if these employee do it because they are incompetent or out of hate because she is elderly. Please if anyone else has had issues with this location please post. Let's protect the elderly and have those incompetent employees removed.

Good place to shop at. Very courteous employees. Accessible from the Austin Ave. side as well as from the Addison Ave. side. Nicely laid out, well lit. Sometimes the phamacy gets a little backed up. I ended up waiting one hour for a prescription pick up and a lady before me waited slightly longer. Hard to understand why, especially when there is two pharmacy tech. and one pharmacist on staff ! You would think it would be a little quicker. Still all in all a good store to shop at !!

If I could give negative 10 I would. Went to Walgreens to pick up my pain meds and there was a line. I am on my way to Indiana to help my sister put down her little dog. I ask the pharmacist if I can pick up my meds without the line since I have an emergency and need my pain meds. All I heard back was we are busy the line is there. What a terrible terrible costumer service. I use that pharmacy for my medicine but after that I am switching. Have some sympathy people!

This pharmacy is ridiculous. They will lie about filling your prescription, then when you call they will tell you that it’s impossible because they are out of your medication and need to order it. Then if you submit a prescription if it’s a day early they will bounce it and not fill it and if you call or physically come in and ask them to fill it the next day they say no you have to come back. No wonder people are sick and frustrated with the medical system

C’mon Walgreens. At least try. The pharmacy here is always messing something up. Their phone calls and text messages do not correspond to wether the medication is ready or not. It’s third time now (different instances) where I got a text or a call saying my prescription was ready and it’s not. Don’t automate if you can’t do it right!! Automation is horrible. Asks me if I want to automate a prescription and then it’s never automated only to ask me next time.

This pharmacy is the worst. They will literally see you standing there and not even greet you. I’ve had to come 3 days back to back just because they do everything so unorganized and unprofessional. Even when I ask for a manager she completely disregarded me and expected me to wait until she was doing what she was doing. Terriable customer service - esp since I work at for a pet pharmacy. will definitely be going to a different pharmacy from now on.

The pharmacy hours on the Google site is wrong. I even called the pharmacy to confirm my prescription, and the automation confirmed that the prescription will be ready for pick up at 8:15 AM. I got there at 8:15 AM only to find out that their pharmacy does not open until 9 AM. Fix your automated voice system. Incredibly frustrated. When I spoke to the manager, she could not have been more rude and less helpful.

This place is truly horrible. Anytime you call they bounce you back and fourth you can hear that they pick up the phone and with out even saying a word they put you back on hold for a long time that is most definitely not called for.

God awful!! I will never come to this Walgreens again let alone pharmacy. Waited in line for 15 min to give my prescription then it took the pharmacy tech another 5 min to key it in. Then I had to wait 40 min for my prescription.
