Me and my brother purchased fish tank filter from there which was the biggest mistake. It says it has 2 years warranty but when we took it home it start leaking and making tank dirty so took it back the old heavy guy said leave it i will test it. Tomorrow I pick it up he said it was ok in here and when i took it back home it was leaking all night. Called him and he was very rude and said bring it back i will do test again. i said i want exchange he refused so went to other fish place they advice me that filter is damaged and got new one and have to pay again. Avoid going to that rude arrogant person or ales you have to pay again as well.

I sent my daughter here, I told her that an aquarium is the best place to ask for advice for her 2 goldfish that were sick. When she asked for help she was seen to by an extremely rude man who shouted, didn’t listen to her, belittled her and made her feel stupid! She left in tears! She phoned me and could barely talk she was so upset. I felt like driving there to give him a visit and let him know that the way he spoke to my daughter was disgraceful !!! Just remember Mr Rude Man, we are all beginner fish keepers at some stage!!!! NEVER will we go there again! NEVER recommend anyone to go there either.

Not a big fan, bought two gold fish with my daughter (first pet) and when they were bagged up one was floating on its side at the counter. I mentioned to the bloke that it seemed a bit unwell but he told me sometimes they get stressed when bagged up but if anything happens to come back and he'd replace it. Sure enough it never really swam to well, sank to the bottom of the tank straight up and by day three it was on its back dead. We didn't bother returning it, just won't be returning ourselves. Thank God my daughter is strong minded and resilient.

The aquarium at Cranbourne has not only everything for your fish, but also for your feathered friend. I have a Budgie and he loves his outside. So I brought a floor vase at an op shop and filled it with sand . Then went outside to search for broken large brunches. I filled it up with heaps of birds toys, for him to not get bored. He straightaway is flying to it, so your bird doesn't fly on the curtains, lamp etc. You can get heaps of toys and birds at Aquarium at Cranbourne, as well they are very helpful with advise.

Have had my tank for more than 2 years never had any issues. First time bought about 18 fish of different kinds from this store last Sunday and by today a week later I've lost around 15 fish all within this 1 week from the new ones and my old ones. Called the store and spoke with an old bloke he blamed it on my tank water, even though I tested the water at home and at my regular pet store in pakenham all good. Will never ever visit again and won't recommend to anyone. Waist of $140. Very very disappointed.

I don't like posting negative reviews, but twice in 12 months I have bought 5 goldfish from here, and both times all the new fish and the other fish in our tank have died! They all got/had white spot desease. I complained the first time and was told that I was doing something wrong, even though I've had goldfish for 20 years( what do I know?). Against my better judgement I gave them another chance. 5 days later, all the fish are dead again! Won't be going there again.

The older guy, I think he is the owener is the rudest guy I have dealt with . he thinks the customer should know the correct price if the fish sold lol if some thing is quoted low by the seller in the shop when we go to pay the older guy quoted higher price at the counter and looks at the customer as if the customer is cheating wierd owner and place feel sorry for the seller guy working there. there are many places in gumtree with lower price and quality fish.

Hi, I have come in Twice now. After having a running tank from bunnarong aquarium wirh no issues and having fish from them,I purchased fish from you and it has wiped out my tank within days of adding the fish purchased from you. It is a warm water tank. Not happy, as I spent $150 on fish in your store, all for it to wipe out my entire tank. And no don’t blame my water, because I have had no issues previously when going to bunnarong and getting fish from them.

The old guy at the counter- Wildly unprofessional and irrationally aggressive in tone when I was asking basic questions about buying a fish. Rude and practically yelling in reaction to asking about what my son needs for the fish tank water. I left without buying anything as his attitude completely destroyed the exciting experience for my kids. Shocked they’ve been in business so long with such inappropriate customer service.

Worst experience ever. There is no customer service at all. And a old rude man has no idea how to talk to customers and treat people. Their products that they have refound policy they will not commit to the policy any keep making you wait and came again. Like Bioscape fish tank filter. AQUARIUM HUT at Cranbourne West is heaps better and great customer service and friendly people to deal with.

Great customer service for 1st-time experience. But changed quickly when dealing with Boss (must be the old grumpy one!) on my enquiry at next visit. Pretty curt and unfriendly. Walked away even they carried product I was looking for. Shame that my 2nd visit left a such different impression of the place. Perhaps something that the boss can learn from his friendly staff... customer service?

Great blokes with very honest and helpful advice. Very passionate about fish and all they want you to succeed so you have happy healthy animals. They Always have what I need from Insects for our dragons, help and advice for our axalotle setup, and getting our tanks and pond running like a dream. They Walk all over other pet shops in the area with their passion. Will Always go back there.

Excellent aquarium shop with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Good selection of fish, plants and products at competitive prices. It's a great place to go especially if you're starting a new aquarium. They'll go through a comprehensive procedure that with you to get your aquarium in top condition before you start housing your new fish. This takes around 4~5 weeks to complete.

This is a good place for getting all your aquarium supplies, fish, food, plants, and 'shipwrecks' for your fish tank. The variety available here makes it easy to call it a one-stop shop. It is a bit crowded yet is easy to navigate within the aisles without bumping into anything. One must visit here if you are looking for an aquarium and fish, you won't be sorry.

Terrible customer service! The staff at this aquarium are completely careless. They stand behind the counter not doing anything, when you ask for assistance they refer you to another member who doesn't even show up to assist. Their tank conditions are terrible and some of the fish look sick and colorless in the tanks. I would not recommend this place at all!

Reluctant to give this any more than two stars even though most of the staff are nice and they have a wide range of stuff. The boss is a jerk. Read through the other reviews - it's a great place and all that and the manager is nice - until you get on his angry side. He can be a very nasty pastie. Makes for an extremely unpleasant experience

Incredible knowledge and extremely helpful staff from top to bottom. More than happy to take their time through your own journey on setting up tanks as well. Frequent cisits for water tests and the guys take you through each and every step of where your tank is and how to get it set up correctly!! Thank you very much for your help!! :)

was going to buy fish but the way the older man was talking to me came off really rude and made me feel like I’m stupid for not bringing water in to test! Just rude attitude and bad energy! Don’t think I’ll return here! Everywhere else I've been in the area, the staff has been super nice and helpful which makes me feel welcome!

Grumpy old guy is an understatement! Young guy was very helpful yesterday and I got everything I wanted except some plants that wouldn’t be in till today. Came back today and was forced out by the rude obnoxious old guy. Hie attitude was intolerable and with other more friendly stores around, I won’t be back here.

Staff is very nice. Gives good advice and asks a lot of background questions before recommending anything. Except for the old dude who i think is the owner is most unpleasant person and makes rude comments. Ruined my experience, never going back. First sight is the dying fighter fish. Not a good sight.

Easy to find, some parking, bigger then thought from the outside had a large variety with clean tanks and friendly staff. Huge range of tanks and decorative features will definitely be back what a beautiful aquarium.

Friendly service, the owner is very helpful. Birds to pat and hold if you're lucky. They're happy to test your water, I've never been charged. Lots of fish and birds to choose from, plenty of accessories as well.

Extremely poor customer service!!!! Never go here. Aquarium Hut at Cranbourne West has much better customer service and helped us through issues this shop caused.
