I had the worst experience ever and i was shocked by how i have been trained today. I can’t even explain what the manager did this morning but long story short that I bought a mixer from Argus less than six months ago (Ninja) for my business and i have been using it but somehow stopped working, I called Ninja and explained to them what happened and i told them that it’s under three years grantee and they said i need to take it back to Argus for replacement which i did and Ninja provided me a ref number to provide on my item return. I gave the mixer and the ref to the manager of Argus which she refused to replace it and she said it’s been used hardly which is NOT but again i told her it’s not your business to check how it has been used as Ninja agreed to return it. She started shouting on me and asked me to leave it is just because I asked for my rights and showed her the item guarantee, i also went through the policy and how she needs to deal with customers, she responded saying that she is the manager and this is her shop and she is going to block me shop or buying any items from Argus l, i straight away called Ninja and explained what happened and they deeply apologize about my experience and they said don’t worry, give us yours address and we will deliver the replaced mixer by today for free (which they did within few hours) and i also called Argus to complain and they told me that is not how you need to be treated and she can’t stop you shopping on our stores or website and they will follow it up with me, and once she heard the conversation, she called the security to ask me to leave, which I didn’t allow him to touch me and left but promised to follow it up and not leave it until i get the apology from Argus and do an investigation on this incident. Her name was Anna.
Unfortunately no minus stars. My 8 year old grandson went shopping with his mum. He asked his mum not to look while he went in and bought her a Christmas present. This is the first time he's been able to do this as last year was covid and the year before he was, and still is suffering with leukemia. His mum stood at the entrance so she could see him. He has his own bank card and has been saving up. He went to self serve, ordered and paid for the item. In all he spent over £58. He asked the lady at the desk for a bag so his mum wouldn't see what he had bought her. She told him it was 20p, he didn't have it and got upset, she totally refused. He was gutted as his mum saw what he had bought. He rang me in tears. I thought stores were begging for customers to use them to keep them open instead of shopping online. They have just lost a customer of the future. I'm not sure if the sales lady has children but if so I just hope others are more caring towards them than she was to an 8 year old asking for her help. Amazon it is from now. And to think, I was going Christmas shopping next week, mine will now be bought online, delivered next day, and guess what.....it will be covered so no one sees it. Sorry argos but you upset my grandson so we won't be back. Gone are the days of caring and compassion, and all for 20p. Hope you're proud of yourself whoever you were at about 6.30pm on 17th November. Company policy stinks.
BE AWARE, this store does not operate according to its stated opening hours. The manager of this store does whatever she wants, the other day I went to the store to collect an order, the store was shut early as the manager decided to. Went next day to the store, asked to speak to the manager, ignored the first and second time and said the manager was busy. I insisted and said I can wait. I waited for 10-15 mins. Finally spoke to the manager, she came out looking grumpy and impatient. Asked her why the store was closed, she said she the store was quiet and she has waited as long as she could, and made the decision to send staffs home early that day. She tried really hard to send me away, told me all complaints are only handled by head office, and that there is nothing that she can do. Didn't even apologised for the inconvenience caused because of her wise decision the previous day. And guess what when I file a complaint to the head office? They simply apologise for the inconvenience caused and said that it was an unfortunate event, and that's it. I haven't done click and collect with Argos in the past, and I am extremely disappointed with my purchase with them. Learned my lesson, would stay away from argos in the future.
Bought a pushchair from there, took a photo of the receipt and threw the paper as I have been doing for years with no problems. The pushchair started to disintegrate after few months, so I took it back since it was under warranty (2yrs). The rude manager came up and started blaming my son for being overweight (13kg), then I showed her the receipt photo. She said she can’t accept it, then I showed her the Argos terms and conditions that a photo is acceptable. She said she can only accept an email confirmation if no receipt is shown. I went to my email and showed her the confirmation. She typed the order number and said no such order exists. She stood her ground as if we were in an ego battle and not in a consumer-merchant encounter. I went back home and called Argos and they found my order instantly. They were surprised at how she handled this and apologised on her behalf asking me to visit another branch. Avoid this branch if you do not to be treated like trash!
Went into argos today and was helped by a lovely lady called Linsey, I had taken a blind back and wanted a larger replacement and linsey helped me on the machine to find it. Her customer service today was second to none, I work in customer service myself so I know how hard it can be keeping everyone happy. Please let Linsey know how pleased I was with her today, people are quick to complain but not to give good feedback. Thank you Linsey @ crown point.
I love argos but feel let down that they let the parking company rip people off along with the other stores. Fined whilst queuing to leave, 23rd December, massive covid queues, shopping for others, stayed on site but for too long plus have a disabled pass & still free robbed & let down by the whole place. Surely would make more sense to come to an agreement with the other stores as I can't be the only one who will never go back!
I mostly buy electrical appliances from argos ,after a carefully comparing prices and quality of product l found it fair in price ,excellent customer service, caring and helpful. I have been their customer since last five years and fully satisfied with the product and service,l recommend it for my friends and others ,its a sign of perfection in shopping .
We went to return a product we didn’t even use and the employee who we were talking to called faith elisa mouk-nsoni refused to refund the item not only that she rude to us and then she proceeded to throw the product that we showed to her towards us we asked to talk to their manager and she did nothing this has to be the worst Argos in Leeds.
There's a varied selection of shops available at Crown Point, so best to check and make sure there are more than one of the stores you would like here. Parking is horrendous. It's slow getting in and also getting around to find a space. Getting out seems to take even longer. A good place to shop when it's not busy.
I am really impressed by the brilliant customer service. Absolutely amazing, absolutely satisfying. Especially I have to put my finger on Nathan’s customer service, who I was served with. He is really dedicated and spent more than half an hour to sort my problem out. I am really thankful and appreciate his help.
I am disabled and walk with sticks. I did not have to wait outside and was directed to tills to pay for reserved goods. The staff member (Carly) got me a chair to sitdown and also took receipt to the collection point. Got my goods and bagged them and carried out to car. Excellent staff and service. 100%
This branch is my local one and it takes self service to another level. I've been inside over 20 times in 3 years and there has literally never been anyone around to help. It's also the slowest of argos counters I've ever been to, despite ordering, reserving and/Or paying in advance.
Came in 15 mins before closing by mistake as we thought crown point closed at 9. my daughter had a large order to collect. Staff were very helpful and professional dealing with the order. One item was damaged in their storage but was sorted out quickly. Happy overall.
I came to buy a machine from this Argos that was fairly heavy. A lady said that i coukd use a trolley to take it to the car however a worker called Ash was really helpful and carried the machine to the car. Passionate and helpful workers. Greatly pleased.
Shocking. Waited in the till queue for nearly 20 minutes before a staff member took my order. 1 till staff member available while the queue grew larger and larger. The floor needs to be managed better like other stores. Won't visit here again
Absolutely rude a young women with blonde hair, disgusting customer service, attitude & absolutely did not help. Would not recommend this particular Argos to anyone. She clearly needs training on customer service & how to speak to customers.
Fast Track dont bother they had my items in stock but the fast track said Dec 31st it would have been quicker to walk in and pick my goods up sorry Argos but this is how i feel missed out on my wifes Christmas presents thanks !!!!
Slowest service ever. Had to queue twice over once for a fast track and once for a replacement of a faulty item. They refused to do both at the same time so I joined 2 very long queues. Was there about 1 hour what a treat!
Went to buy video games, didn't even go in as the staff member policing the door was so aggressive and rude in her manner. Went along to M & S straight afterwards where the young woman on the door was polite and friendly.
As with most if not all Argos' you get quick ordering and payments from the terminals. Quick order processing (order picking ) too so, you're in and out. Loads of parking available right outside throughout the day
I bought a safety gate at the store, when i took it home it didn’t fit and i came to change it for bigger size and they refused to change. They told me because I took it out from the box. It is crazy
Busy lunch time, 2 people on customer service desk only 1 person waiting to be served, about 10 people waiting for products they have bought and only1 person serving... where is the sense in that!
Can someone please help me,has anyone had anything delivered from argos but actually a company called phoenix who actually have a contract with argos The guy is also called Craig. Thankyou
Blond "manager" which she liked to state incredibly rude and sarcastic, need some customer service training never experienced anything like it, disgusted and will never be returning
Has a great selection of household, garden and electrical items for sale. Either shop online and pick up in store or opt for there speedy delivery service for an additional fee.
There is a scamming employee worker here named Ondrej Gabor orders PS5 on ebay delivered to this argos address closes account then charges back payment with bank!!!!!!!
I was experiencing some issues with my recently purchased samsung watch and Aisha assisted in replacing it for me. She was very helpful, friendly and professional.
Great service on a recent purchase, tills playing up but received great assistance from a young man who helped me pay in cash. Good shopping experience
Professional and friendly staff, brilliant service. I was in to collect an item I paid for online. Was in and out of the store in less than 5 mins.
Last Argos in existence and really captures what Argos is suppose to be it's better than ever other Argos that is fused together with Sainsbury's
Very bad experience with the administration and the products, the prices are not bad but the human quality is very deteriorated. Sorry …
Good catelogue shopping for anything and everything, nice friendly staff. Fast service via tablet then kiosk. They have a EE store inside.
Always have what l need to get, good quality goods and a fair price. Never not found what l require. I would recommend Argos to anyone.
Same as the rest of the Argos stores lots to chose from good prices quick service plenty of parking very clean well kept store
They stock a wide range of products at a very competitive price and I always check with them first before trying other shops.
Large store. Staff were friendly and helpful. A lot of stock sold out when I visited so bit difficult to get what I want.
Nice staff if they don't have it they will check all the other stores. Or have it delivered to your home free of charge
Bought a printer and pinter papaerfrom there, the staff member helped me outside as it was too heavy for me to handle.
Bought a crib for my baby daughter. Quite clearly had been opened before and was missing a part. What a store!
Cleaned and good shop. Not spent a long time to buy the item. The staff were helpful as well. Worth a visit.
Not enough staff for number of customers. Wanted to buy an item from a set and variety they had was average.
I love it because wenever its my brothers or sisters bday we go out to argos some times the wihte rose one
Touchscreen devices have recently replaced the catalogues although they are frustratingly slow to respond.
Very slow service always one member of staff serving and a big queue, staff not even bothered to help!!
Kiedys tętniło życiem teraz puchy, wchodzisz, odbierasz, wychodzisz. Smutne gdzie idzie ten świat.
It's a well organised Argos. Be advised that there can be a wait due to volume of footfall.
A good selection of retail shops. Car parking can be a bit of a nightmare during peak times
Its Argos! What more can you say, always had in stock what was need and it's a big Argos.
Got to love argos, easy access, good lay out all the usual aspects of an argos store
Large argos. Easy to shop in but the retail park is a nightmare in a weekend
