They've worked on my car for years now. I met Henry first when I failed my emissions test next door. He saw me standing there fretting about my car and offered to take a look at it. I was immediately hesitant since I didn't know him and, with a big grin, seeing my apprehension he said "I'll check it for free man!" So he opened the hood, found I had a crack in my manifold, and started welding it. When he finished and said "go get it tested now". I did. I passed my emissions! So I went back and said "amazing - how much do I owe you brother?" He says, "no charge for a new customer!" I laughed. And have been their customer ever since. That was 6 years ago, and they continue to do exceptional, reliable work. Henry and Tai do solid, reliable, dependable, affordable work, and never try and give me things I don't need (they've actually talked me down from added unnecessary bells and whistles) . I've found it's hard to find mechanics one can trust in Toronto these days. These guys are them. Also -- Ignore the single-star posters (NoRogeR) and his wife (Kristine P) complaining about alignment. They're complaints are fictitious. I was there when they were screaming about their alignment at the END of the day. This jackass wanted service immediately. At the end of the day, when the garage was already backed up, for a problem that should have been discovered 2 weeks previous. As an impartial observer, it seemed clear that this guy was an entitled fool, demanding free service, while trying to abuse his relationship with Tai. His opinion has no credibility.

Tai, the owner of this business sells cars privately. He told me that he could process the financing for me. When I received the used vehicle sales contract, it said "Auto Quest Group on the contract?". I bought a 2017 RDX base package from him, not from Auto Quest Group car dealer. It was overpriced at $25k for a mileage of 82k. The car lost $7k in value when I took it into Acura Dealership for an evaluation. They said the tires were not up to standard, and the mileage was very high. Do not trust him as he does business without integrity. I have greatly regretted my decision. We discovered Henry and Tai a few years back when we had a problem with our car and it turned out a big-name chain service centre had not put the oil cap back on after a routine service, so the car had been running on no oil for way too long. Henry took us in, spent a bunch of time looking the whole engine over and helping us through the complaints procedure, all for no cost. His approach worked, as we've been a loyal customer ever since. Whether's it's a basic oil change or more complex work, Tai and his team always do a good job and at a fair price (recently Tai looked almost sad when he told me the final cost of a big job, even though it was a great price). You may have to wait a while if you've not been able to make an appointment - always a good sign that they're constantly busy - but if they say they'll get the work done for you, they will. They even opened specially on a Sunday for us when our rear suspension gave out when driving up north. A really nice, old school, honest, family-run shop that deserves praise in a time when it seems so hard to find someone you can really trust.

Not only did the mechanic actually say to me" I don't know what's wrong with it" I had to pay for the tow to the dealer and it ended up being a $1 fuse at first he told me it was the key I had to hire somebody else to come and fix my computer and My key $500.Then $480 after about 3 weeks of having my car in their possession I finally got it back front headlight didn't work all the panels were removed from my engine power windows didn't work power locks didn't work and all he could say to me was. Quotes when you brought it in it didn't turn on and now it does I will be contacting the better business Bureau the absolute worst service and the worst people he actually said to me I thought you had money buddy. This place should be shut down you should bring your car to his brother Henry's shop he's much more honest these guys just took over at the name and are giving Henry a really bad name

It has taken me a while to write this review but a few months ago the staff at Asia Auto Service saved me from a potentially major issue. One of my front windshield wipers stopped working and it was really effecting my ability to see during a snowstorm. I arrived just before the shop closed and the staff were friendly and helpful. They did a bit of troubleshooting and realized that something needed to be tightened. It didn't take long and they didnt even ask for any money for helping me out! I really appreciate the kind of help that you guys provided me in a stressful situation and will definitely be back to have my car serviced!!

Pulled a vehicle off the hoist and outta the bay to check my exhaust system, that was quoted elsewhere at "at least $1000" to fix. Owner showed me the problem (both connection flanges rusted out behind crossmember in between 2 catalytic converters). Not easy to access, but he said to leave it with him and it would be ready the following day at the latest. Walked through "Homesense" with the wife and on the way home received a call that the car was ready to be picked up!!! Both pipes and flanges cut out, new flanges welded on, connected and done perfectly. This was less than 2 hours and $175 later!!! Saved me a fortune.

The owner will tell you if the job can be done or not. I liked how I was treated for the last 5 years. Can you find better prices? Maybe. I never had the surprise of being charged additional prices. Update: I didn't know that TAI was licensed to buy and sell cars. I just bought a 2017 TLX from him, and I was pleased with the process . Full disclosure and fair price. Today, I also found out that he expanded his business. Any paint services can be done now with TAI. His business became one stop for any car problems you have. Who did business with this gentleman will agree with me that he deserves 5 stars.

I'm not sure how to spell the gentleman's name I think its Chui, or Chau, but he is super awesome. I needed my back brakes changed - my routers and pads, on a 2013 VW Jetta very reasonable price, quick, and efficient. I called from work he said to come right after work and I will get it done and I did. I also called today to ask about an oil change again much cheaper than my VW dealer. I'll be on my way as soon as i'm finished work. He is polite and if you don't understand something being a female and a new car owner ask and he will explain it to you. I have found my new mechanic. :-)

I love my car(s) and I can honestly tell you that I trust Asia Auto Service 100%. They do amazing work and very affordable and honest with their prices. I love how they are so aware of auto safety which is so important. They offer great warranty and stand behind their work. Tai is the owner and he is super nice, honest and professional. Always explains the price in advance and will not try to up sell. No surprises, ever! Forget the big brand name shops, give these guys a try, you'll be pleasantly pleased and maybe save a few bucks too.

Everything was done nicely and on time. For going in on a busy day and to still get my car done was absolutely awesome. I am for sure going to return and use this mechanic. Very friendly and courteous and I liked as well that they stayed in contact with me to inform me on the process and timeline of when the work will be done. Thanks again

This place is a scam! I took my car for an alignment, a week later my alignment was off. They tried to tell me that it was an issue with my car and refused to look at it, they even went as far as saying "we've never seen you" . If there was an issue with my car they should have said something the day I got my alignment.

I walked in to get a wire fixed on the battery. It was repaired in 20 min while I waited. $60 tax incl. 1week ago, left my car @ Yorkdale Toyota for 5 hrs to do the same repair; they never even looked at it, even though I booked an appointment the previous week.

Tai and Rose are such great people! My family has been with them for quite a few years and he’s always gotten us pretty good prices on some very niche repairs. Busy season can get very busy but he’s always very accommodating and has great recommendations

If you have a Japanese car definitely recommend going here as the name says it asian" they expertese mainly Japanese see cars in and out. Prices are ok average not cheap or expensive not dealership prices and very helpful and Informative named Thai.

We had some good dents and scratches on car due to a parking lot scratch. ‘Tai’ quoted the least price to repair and we are extremely satisfied with how he fixed the car. He knows his work and I will recommend this shop for scratches or collision

Service was really simple and quick. Had my muffler disconnected so they weld back that muffler and they did some extra to keep my pipe away from hitting speed bumps. The price is too good to be true and time is efficient.

I’ve call the owner, and ask about a alignment, he said I have To diagnose the vehicle, but he had an important call he will call me back, 2 days and no call. I won’t ever take my car to that location ever again.

I have changed oil recently from this place and they didn’t put back the splash shield properly and while driving on highway it came off and got destroyed which also damaged my tire fenders..Pathetic experience

The workers are very rude and do not know how to deal with them. I had only asked one of them that I want to check the tire pressure, knowing that they are working. He told me that we are not open today.
