I had the most awful experience in ASICS shop in O Connell Street in Dublin. I bought my husband Peadar a brand new Kayano runners for €200 on the 16th of September for his birthday. This is his 10th pair of Kayanos. He loves them and always wear them. He is a runner, and will be running in the Dublin Marathon next week. However the latest Kayano runners he got are very uncomfortable and hurt him when he is running. He says there’s definitely a problem with them. He tried them on again and again and they still give problems. There is a stitch error in the tongue of the runners. He rang the shop they asked me to return the runners. I returned them to the shop. The supervisor said he can’t do anything because he can’t see a fault in them. I asked him for his name so that I can contact ASICS international to explain that I’ve spoken to the supervisor and they can’t do anything. He refused to give me his full name - just Karl. He has absolutely zero skills in customer services. He wasn’t a bit helpful or gave any advice on what to do next. His manner was disappointing. His colleague was more helpful writing down the customer service number that we can contact. Ive email Asics however they replied "We are sorry to hear about what happened. As you purchased the item through a retailer, we recommend contacting the point of sale with your purchase and your receipt to share your experience with their staff, since the point of sale is responsible for the after-sales service of our products" After this experience I’ve lost confidence in ASICS. We both buy ASICS runners at least once a year - nimbus gel runners for me and Kayanos for Peadar.I am extremely disappointed for Peadar and dont know what to do next. He definitely cannot wear these runners again as they are causing pain. @ASICSeurope @ASICSUK I like to draw your attention to the Sale of goods and supply of Services Act 1980. When you buy products, they must be ‘in conformity with the contract’. This means they must be of merchantable quality: These runners have FAILED all 3 criteria's of merchantable quality - They are not of merchantable quality - there is a FAULT, they are not fit for purpose as Peadar cant run in them, They are not as described as they cause discomfort while running due to thread error in the tongue. If the products you receive are not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or do not match the description you were given, you have a right to certain remedies. A remedy could be a repair, replacement or a refund. A 50 % discount code offered by you is NOT appropriate remedy. @ASICSeurope @ASICSUK Frustrated and dissatisfied with ASICS

I had a really good experience in the shop today. I’m wearing Asics runners for the last 15 years and I never had any issues with them. They’re the best runners I’ve ever used. However, I bought a top range pair of runners a while ago which was hurting my right heel and since one of its features is that it takes up the shape of your feet I thought they might just needed some extra time to adjust. When I brought them back today the store assistant told me that it looks like that side just had a factory default and told me that I can change it for a new pair. He was really helpful and informative and helped me to pick the right pair in the right size. I was really happy as I got this pair for running the marathon and I really needed them to fit me perfectly. Amazing customer service! I would highly recommend shopping here the staff is very knowledgeable. Thanks again ✨☺️

I ordered a pair of Asics runners and was sent a delivery date that I was perfectly okay with. I went online and spoke to someone for an update as I still hadn't received an email for shipping and was told I should have the email by the end of the week. This never came so I got in touch again and was told they were very busy and they're are major delays at the moment. If I was made aware on the website or on the few occasions I spoke online I would have cancelled the order and purchased them from a shop. The online chat bot was very hard to deal with and anytime I asked to speak with someone decided to say thank you and have a good day which added to my frustration. I am now without any runners and the estimate and delivery date has more than doubled. Very frustrating process, I would not recommend.

I had an excellent experience in the ASICS store on O’Connell St. the minute I walked in the door, the manager (JD) was very helpful. JD fitted my daughter and I with a pair of Asics each plus running gear. To say the fitting was excellent is an understand I never realised there was a wide fitting Asics in Kayano style and they are do comfortable to runnin. I’ve been back again today to buy another pair of runners gif my daughter and new sportswear. JD made the whole shopping customer experience enjoyable and clearly knows his product knowledge very well but equally good with all customers. I won’t be going anywhere else in future for my sportswear. Thanks JD.

Very Poor and disappointing service, I bought 2 pairs one for myself and another for my wife, 2 weeks back. The shoes are hurting my legs and my wife got blister very poor quality of shoes would not recommended it to any friends, And now for the Service part we went to shop for return they denied saying you dont have box and the shoe's are used .. like how would i get hurt without using it and why would i keep box when i bought shoes to use, Does this policy means they are expecting that people will get hurt due to there product and will struggle to give it back ?

Ever since I started wearing ASICS shoes my heel pain is completely gone. That was two and a half years ago after buying a pair online. So when I walked by the ASICS store on O’Connell Street I was definitely going to have a look inside. Was greeted by Liam who helped me pick out the right pair of running shoes I will hopefully complete the next Dublin Marathon. Liam provided me with a full analysis of my pronation and his own insights with enthusiasm. Thanks again for giving me the best information to avoiding injuries using the right footwear.

I spent some time researching and I ended up at this Asics Store. I strongly recommend visiting this store if you are a bit lost or starting your running journey! Ask for Neville!!! he was very kind and patient. This store offers an option to check which kind of runners are best for you depending on your foot type, they have a treadmill to take the test and run for some minutes. Neville offered me to take this test and he guided me to get the right runners and socks :) some days later I took a 5K race and his recommendations were accurate!!

Extremely disappointed with the online order service. I order a pair of Asics Running Shoe from the Dublin City centre store. Yet for some stupid reason they are being sent from Germany. I ordered them over a week ago and still haven't received them I have been told they will arrive on Monday which I don't think will happen considering it's a Bank Holiday. Should I have know it would be so much hassle to order online I would of went and got them from the shop. You should clearly state that online orders don't come directly from the store

Had a good experience in the shop, bought myself a pair of ff blast in black. They look gorgeous and they're one of the comfiest shoes I've worn to date. I remember Aasics a while back being quite uncomfortable but these are the absolute bomb . My feet get sore enough because of my height and I can already feel that these will help. When I put back on my adidas gazels , I was shocked at how rough they were on my feet. Thanks a mill again. Would recommend to anyone.

Amazing customer service from Liam! I was really impressed with the amount of knowledge he had on each style and the pros and cons of each. Really knows his stuff. He was brought me different colours and sizes to try and let me test them on the treadmill. I came away with a pair of nimbus and a pair of cumulus. I usually just go in stores to try on and then purchase online, but he was so helpful I couldn’t bring myself to not buy! Highly recommend!

Fantastic, seamless shopping experience!! I was looking for running shoes but I was not sure about styles or my size. Eneida was assisting me and was extremely helpful from start to finish. As well as being super friendly, she had lots of product knowledge so she could recommend what style/size suited me best. They are by far the most comfortable trainers I have owned to date. I am delighted with my purchase thanks to Eneida!

Great experience in the Asics O’Connell Street store. We always buy asics and had great experiences in the Vancouver and Richmond stores in Canada previously so we knew things would be good in Dublin too. We weren’t wrong- Karl from the store was so helpful- he helped to fit and pick out runners specifically for running and was really patient and efficient. Definitely will be back for the next pair. Great service all round!

Brilliant establishment The staff are friendly, astute & professional in particular Sean was perceptive, patient & excellent noticing that I walked a certain way and so recommended a shoe that perfectly supported my feet. Went to this store after bad experience in a different Dublin running store. I had the most amazing experience. Got an excellent pair of Noosa Tri 13s and got to test them on their large treadmill. Most running shops in Dublin don't have treadmills. This is a must for proper shoe testing since you can't wear it outside if you want to return them. Highly recommend.

I went in here after buying some shoes online that were too small and had a verrrry long charity walk in a couple of days. I didnt get the name of the assistant that helped me but he was fab. He listened and responded to my concerns with knowledge and friendliness. Got some Gel Nimbus 23s and delighted with them. The service was perfect.

I am so happy my friend Olive told me about this new shop we both are delighted that Asics are available as they are just amazing trainers. Olive said she had a great experience in store and Kyle shared so much knowledge with her and gave her great advice about footwear. It is a lovely well air conditioned shop with a great selection .

Great experience, was helped by the staff when I walked in. They put me on the treadmill to analyse my run style and then and based on that recommended some shoes. The girl that served me was really helpful and it was only her first day! The manager was sound too and really enthusiastic with loads of advice! Great store!!!

I went today to the store, what an amazing, professional, helpful, kind person (her name is :Eneida was.) She didn't hesitate to bring anything i wanted to try, she was very approachable. I couldn't make up my mind today what to buy but i definitely will return and purchase something. Thank you Eneida for being soooo great

I got great help from Abbie last Thursday. I'm already a fairly loyal Asics customer, I walk a lot, run a little but am prone to heel pain (plantar fasciitis) that can really bring me down. Asics trainers really help. I use Gel Kayano 25 and got terrific advice from Abbie about the newer range of Gel Kayano.

I went to the store ready to buy a shoe but the staff simple ignore me. Had only another couple there and the blond staff just ignored me. I asked him something, he answered and left without I even finish me sentence. Terrible customer service.

Had gotten a nice pair a few days ago. Josh was so helpful and even kept one of the pairs on the side since I had to go for brunch and wanted to buy the shoes after-the fact. I really appreciated the attention and atmosphere in the store. :)

I was delighted when Asics opened in Dublin. I went there multiple times, and the staff never approached me to ask if I needed any help. I have to go to them and ask. Every time they are on their phones or chatting with each other.

Staff are friendly. Though limited sizes avaialble for some of their styles. I swear by their products. I work in a busy environment with lots of walking but I never get foot / leg pain or tiredness when I wear their runners

Went to the shop today to pick out some new runners my current Asics not helping with Plantar Fasciitis. Joshua was a great help. Went for a walk this evening and really happy with what he recommended!

I was thus looking for replacing my old running trainers. Staff was really nice, prices were ok from what I had compared. As I did, come if you have a hard time to find your shoe size elsewhere.

It's a good place to look at the latest and greatest of Asics but the wrong place to buy anything. Kayano for 200 Euro when the exact same model is available at Amazon for 120 Euro. Total joke.

I was there today, the store was clean and organized. The staff member who helped me was Alan and I was very happy with him. Patient, efficient and nice, and brought me exactly what I needed.

I like this shop but the thing I find most strange about it is, it doesn't have a foot measuring machine or tool for measuring your foot and its an athletes footwear shop..
