And we're back down to one star because a package marked as safe to leave unattended wasn't left in the easily accessible covered area with a security camera and was instead kept at this post office that is inaccessible to me and my partner unless we take time off work to travel there during work hours. --- Leaving my previous review in place for historic value, however I have increased my rating to 2 stars, because after several years, I've finally had a package delivered, rather than an automatic collection card. I've also noted that packages for other people have been left in our mail room, confirming that they have adjusted their processes. --- It is very rare for me to rate below 4 stars, but Eight Mile Plains LPO has worked very hard for the past few years to achieve 1 star from me. The delivery person always leaves a note in the mailbox, claiming nobody was home or that they were unable to access the premises. The straw that broke the camels back was when the photo proof of them not being able to gain entry was a selfie of them within the gated area. To make matters worse, limited opening hours with no early collection available mean my partner or I have to organise time off work to collect parcels. And worse still, we've turned up half an hour before closing to find we were too late. It's unacceptable and warrants a complaint to Australia Post, though I don't think enough people can be bothered. I've had to lodge multiple complaints, where I get an apology but the same poor service continues...

single star because of the guys at counter. out of 10 , 8 times i have to go to pick up my parcels at their office after work in rush hour . delivery man always left note in mailbox and lies that nobody was home. even last time he left note when i already picked my parcel, what a joke. i am sick of dealing with post, every other carrier delivers at doorstep.

Never had an issue when we resided at a different suburb however now the parcels don't get delivered and instructions from the sender aren't followed. This means that parcels need to be picked up from the LPO during work hours which is very difficult

Should open on Saturday too. Or at least set up a computerized 24h drop off and pick up place. There will be people working until night time on Friday and it’s gonna be so annoying if they need to wait for a whole weekend to pick up emergent parcels.

Checked the website for closing hours and saw it was 5 pm. I got there at 450 pm. TEN minutes before they were meant to close. And yet the closed sign is up and door is locked absolutely pathetic will be making s complaint to aus post about this.

Why aren't they open on Saturday Very inconvenient when working full time and needing to pick up a parcel because obviously no one home because I work full-time. Other post offices are open around the area.

Came in at 4:55 pm and the front door is closed. I would of collected my item if they didn't close the door 5 minutes before closing. Now I have to wait until next week to collect

I don't like the schedule, its impossible to get there as its always closed especially if you work full time! How am I supposed to get my parcel? Why its closed on Saturday?

The post office staff here are always kind and polite and efficient at their job. Keep up the great work! I come here several times a year and never have any issues.

This Post office NEVER deliver! My address is business and open 7-17 mon.-Fri. But i only receive notice saying goods ready for collection

Not open outside of business hours and postie did not leave parcel at the home address despite request from both buyer and seller

I've updated your opening times so that people don't rearrange their schedules to stand outside when you say you open at 8:30.
