Fantastic margherita pizza and a good price at $29 for two large traditional pizzas and a garlic bread for takeaway. But some issues with the service. Ordered on the phone on Friday at 6pm (admittedly a very busy time) and told it would be an hour. The website menu says $25 so they need to update that. I arrived and was told to wait another 10 minutes, then longer, then I finally got it 80 minutes after I ordered. To be fair, they offered me a free drink while I waited. Then when I got it they forgot to charge me for the food, so I went back and paid. They were really nice staff, lovely, but some issues with the order on a busy Friday night. I'd be happy to go back another day. And the margherita really is amazing.

Menus not available on the business’s website so was directed to use Uber Eats or Door Dash. Ordered at 6:18pm and the estimated delivery went from 6:40 pm to 7:01-7:16. Order didn’t leave the restaurant for 1 hour and 15 mins after being placed. The poor driver was at the restaurant for about twenty minutes. I know Fridays are busy and I don’t mind delays when I know to expect them but providers need to be honest about expected wait times. I’d also prefer to order directly from the store rather than pay extra using Uber Eats or Door Dash. It’s significantly more expensive. When I rang the staff were very friendly and apologetic but experiences like this just make me go elsewhere.

Food: Calamari for entree was well cooked. Pizzas were delicious. Highly recommend the seafood pizza, was covered with lots of pump juicy prawns, and the sauce was quite spicy, which I enjoyed. Hubbie had capriciossa with carciofi, and he said it was very good too. Will be back out here, or at least order Uber eats. The experience: Attentive staff and we didn't have to wait too long. Given that we were the only people there that could explain it. They seem to do a lot of takeaways. The place lacks atmosphere, the wall opposite us was bland, no paintings or decorations. They could do with some decor to give the place some ambience.

First time diners last night with a food delivery from Basil & Co....... “ JUST AMAZING “ Clearly it was the best home delivered food we have ever received. Delicious, hot, fresh, great portions, great value and packaged well. Ordered, Pappardelle Ai Funghi, Spaghetti Con Polpette & a Large Aussie Pizza. 11 out if 10, flawless. Best Mushroom Pasta I have ever eaten. The same was said for the Meatballs & Pizza. Ordered via DoorDash for the first time too and happy with that service too. Looking forward to more happy dining with Basil & Co and thank you for being a great local business!

The pizza here used to be really good, but sadly they have replaced their excellent gluten-free base with one that tastes and looks more like cardboard. Our pizzas also took more time than the hour we were told, and were all overcooked. The most dishonest thing was the size of the gluten-free pizza. It costs $5 more, says it's a large, but is about a third smaller. All the prices on the menu are wrong as well. We won't be returning

New to the area and a neighbour recommended Basil and Co. Will thank her when I see her next. Pizza was very tasty and generous with toppings. I walked in for takeaway and every staff member was friendly. In the short time for my order to be ready the place became full of diners. I also bumped into a different neighbour collecting and order. He told me he always gets pizza from here too.

Tried today for the first day. Really really good pizza! Fresh and tasty. Beats the pants off anywhere else in Newport. They also do kids size pizzas which aren’t advertised on the main menu. Staff were great. I’ll now be stuck having to choose between here and pizza d’asporto. Bit more pricy than the other pizza places in Newport but worth it. Note the picture on the Google lidting is out of date. Place is newly renovated

Got Uber eats and it took an hour to arrive.. pizza had an adequately delicious base to it, but they were very frugal with the olives- I think we got three (cut in half). Overall, neutral. Do you want to eat here? Well, you can! Makes no difference to me

I was so impressed with Basil and Co. The food was absolutely delicious and the ambiance of the restaurant is on point. We were a table of 10 and every single person was raving about the meal they had chosen, the calamari are apparently out of this world. I am vegan and they happily catered for me too and made me the best vegan pizza I have ever had. Highly recommend this place!

Tasty food for the right price. Superb wood fired pizzas. Pleasant and accommodating staff. Dining available on site as well as takeaway and delivery. Clean, comfortable environment. Not a huge space but good for a single, couple, or small group. On street parking available. Licenced venue.

We love Basil and Co for quality Naples-style pizza on a base that is crunchy and light. Our kids love it too, no arguments to have dinner here! They comment: ‘Nice and cheesy, pizza tastes really good, friendly staff” We appreciate the speedy and friendly service that we have always received. Great selection of beers and wine on tap.

We had a function in Williamstown for 30 adults and almost 20 kids. And we ordered pizzas from Basil and Co. We had amazing service and the pizza's were hot, tasty and they were delivered right on the time we requested. Everyone loved them. Thanks again guys

Best ever pizza!!! Highly recommend!! Beautifully presented and clean pizza bar. The staff are so friendly and attentive. I live in Craigieburn, a good 45 minutes away but it is so worth the drive that’s how amazing the pizzas are! Even my fussy little eaters are impressed. Keep up the great work, Basil & Co!

Ordered via uber eats and waited over an hour and 2 delivery drivers later, because they had to wait so long. Be honest about how long the food will take to make, so I can make an informed decision where to order. Not worth the wait.

Can't believe I only just discovered this place! Honestly the best pizza I've ever had. Got an Aussie which I added prawns to and they were the biggest juiciest prawns. Meat lovers was so good real bacon huge amounts of meat. Won't be going anywhere else

Basil and co is really delicious. Great value considering the quality of the ingredients. The meal deal with 2 pizzas and a garlic bread is my go to. I can also recommend the lasagna, which tastes totally homemade and delicious!

The pizza and pasta at Basil and Co is superb. You will continue eating even after you are beyond full, just to savour the flavours. The owners, Jordan and Franca are friendly hosts. They have established a homely restaurant.

Best in the West! Consistently cooked perfectly. Amazing pizza. Quality ingredients. It’s a no brainer for me.

Best pizza I’ve had in Melbourne & the mushroom truffle pasta is insane! Really friendly staff and great service. Caprese salad was another hit too. Can’t wait to go back
