We came to this My Pet store with a number of items to purchase when I was at the Murrumbeena store on North Road on Sunday Saturday the 23rd of June. My daughter and I came into the store knowing we had to buy various items for a puppy that is going to join our family late this week. We didn't have time to write out a list of what we required. The store were unaware of our intentions and because it's been approx 8 years since our last requirement to purchase many items I knew we required help. Personally customer Service is paramount to me, especially coming from a back ground of working for some for 3 the largest IT companies in world as a Team Leader myself and also one company was a major Australian Bank. The other 2 companies are 2 of the largest IT companies in the world. We had bought one $20 item online from E bay before entering the store and at first just as we entered the store I mentioned to my daughter who was with me that we'll probably go home and just order everything online as we'll get more information from the online store at the click of a button. That was the plan until we requested some help to begin with from an employee working there named Darcey, who we later found to be the assistant manager. Her knowledge, experience and most importantly to me her demeanour towards us was the difference in spending approx $550 instead of being there for 5 mins and spending no more than $50 odd dollars. We walked out happy after being there for approx 45 mins and having that face to face customer Service. A couple of the very large Stores we have that sell things from Electronic equipment such as high end T.V's to home furniture could learn a few things regarding customer Service from the staff at My Pet. Thank you My Pet and Darcey for making our experience a happy one. You were softly spoken however assertive and experienced in all the products and facets in your store and you never took that smile off your face. Thank you

The Murrumbeena store is once again, staffed by witless kids who fail to understand the need to sometimes make a decision that isn’t in the book. Tonight at 5.20, there were no less than 6 people banging on the door wanting service. The web site said 6pm closure, but the dill with the big hole in his ear was adamant that the recent change in ‘company policy’ was to be adhered to - even though these loyal customers had been seriously inconvenienced. And yes, it was all too much trouble to turn the tills on again, serve people and then do another balance - like any sensible adult would do given the situation. So my $100 a week will be going on line in future, as I’m told some of those who were also inconvenienced by an inept web manager and an idiot boy. What a clown-act company you are.

With the fierce competition and current economic climate this place has managed to disappoint my first and absolutely last visit. Manager standing and watching on the side whilst I was given unprofessional service by a clueless staff who I previously spoke to on the phone. Definitely not what I expected by my local pet store. Needless to say this review will receive a standard response asking to contact their customer service centre, which I already did and got ignored by that too. Not so Best Friends after all unfortunately.

Truck took ages to do reverse blocked car park existing.I tried to managed to go out then I stopped instead doing damage people starting to be in a rush to go out. Now stepped in the employee hero said I've be rude with people cause I don't wanna move my van stucked between cars and people. So he passed like my fault. 1 Keep for yourself comments. 2 Manage to pick up with your dandy a couple of boxed outside car park if is full of cars. 3 Costumer service skills. 4 Tell your boss one customer less from today.

Exceptional customer service. Attention to detail. Exceptional product knowledge. Always a pleasure shopping instore at Best Friends Murumbeena, VIC. My daughters just love the staff who are always friendly and helpful and dedicated to supporting us and fellow customers to find the right product for out pets. Keep up the great work and thank you again for such a positive shopping experience. You are an amazing team and an asset to the Pet Stock brand. Would highly recommend to family and friends.

the food was delightful and was truly amazing. if you go here make sure to order the king fish platter, best food i’ve eaten this year. the service was amazing too. the food came out in 5 minutes and i saw the famed george floyd there. i believe this place was one of the best comic stores in all of ireland. my dog got a new shirt from here too! don’t know what else to say other than how amazing it is. i love the eiffel tower, come here for sure!

good prices. click and collect should be instant when store has stock rather than have to wait 2 days to get the food. if your nearly out the dog doesn't have food and costs more overall. Officeworks does the above and i thought would be standard to get the customer in the store quickly for impulse buys overall shop is good. the lady with short hair as murrembeena is really helpful and knows what she is taking about.

Great pet shop. The staff were lovely, knowledgable and helpful, which is exactly what I needed as a new puppy owner. The store itself is also very spacious and organised so it's really easy to find what you need and they have a great range of products. This is the 3rd pet shop I have been to since getting our dog and it has been the best by far. Will definitely be back.

I came & got my BlackHawk kibble, Advocate for dog treatment & some dried pig snouts. I was in & out without any issues & it was a busy weekend too. So Thank you girls. Keep up the Awesome work.

Difficult to get into, depending from where you are approaching from. Heading east on North Road is best. Turn into the side street, then find ample parking at the rear. The entrance is also facing this rear carpark section. The staff were very friendly, well knowledged and did not try to sell me a product that in there minds would not work. So hat's off for them.

Excellent customer service. Huge warehouse, fabulous variety for cats and dogs. Tippi (my cat) loves the Royal Canin Ultra light in gravy and when this goes on sale Tippi (with a tap of her paw) says "buy in stock, hooman". Great prices and keep an eye out for the great sales. If you can't make it to the warehouse order online. Click and collect available as well.

Kat provided some fantastic service in helping me find a spare part for my cat toilet. Not only was her service great on the day, but she had contacted me a couple of times via phone to keep me across the progress (as she was trying to hunt the broken piece down in one of your other stores). Thanks Kat!

I loved this my pet warehouse. But now I've been made aware that they are no longer a my pet warehouse and they are now a Best Friends. I personally do not like Best Friends due to their lack of diversity and that they are so expensive. So it makes me sad that I can no long shop there.

I have been a loyal Best Friends customer, however an encounter with a rude staff member who decided to change the time of the last dog wash from 30 mins to 40 mins before closing has forced me to shop elsewhere. Contacted Petstock CS and have heard nothing since. Pretty poor.

Pricing has changed and sales and discounts are not as common as years back. Overall, a large range of pet supplies and stuff. Would come here again if I am desperate. I moved to Dandenong and it's not worth the travel for a few items and the discounts offsets the petrol cost.

Visiting multiple times in over the past couple months, the staff are super friendly and prompt with cleaning up any ‘accidents’. With frequent sales and multiple options in every category, this will be my local stomping ground for all pet needs for the significant future!

This place has a great selection of toy, food and home products for cats and all other furry friends. You can even bring your fur baby to the store to shop with you. The staff are great also and the specials and regular promotions are wonderful.

I had a very pleasant experience today. The lady behind the cashier told me that the items I had bought for my pup were too big and suggested getting a smaller size, which saved me few bucks. Very happy with the attitude, will be back.

They are advertising on their website a $10 off voucher if you sign up to their mailing list. The voucher expired on the 30th Aug 2019, very misleading, they should remove this from their website. Not impressed.

It's a medium sized store. You can probably find all the basics for your pet, but variety is not their forte. The bird section was relatively small, as most of the sections are for dogs and cats.

This place is great Kat truelly does a great job, she has a love for animals and is always there to help. Especially with my last dog Charlie. Now we come with Beau and his just as excited …

Whilst not a comprehensive range of products it does have a good range that will most likely meet your needs. Nice store layout, OK parking, very helpful staff. We certainly like going there.
