A big thank you to James and the team at Bike Gallery for building my new Focus Izalco Max 9.7 in less than a week. My old Trek Madone was ridden off 4 weeks ago and I've been in the market for a replacement. It was extremely frustrating and disappointing visiting many bike stores across Melbourne during a period when bikes were scarce. I visited Bike Gallery after a recommendation from friend who had his Dario Pegoretti frame set built by them. I mentioned to Jame's that I was after Shimano Ultegra Di2 group set with disk brakes and carbon wheels set within a moderate budget. James mentioned the quality of SRAM ETap and presented an off the shelf standard Izalco Max 9.7 however the blue/grey was not my taste. He went the extra mile and allowed me to ride his custom build Focus Max with SRAM Force ETap AXS to put my concerns at rest, it worked and I was converted. He was very helpful in sourcing a black 50cm frame and his team went to the extra effort of switching the group set to the more affordable SRAM Force ETap AXS and Pirelli PZero Velo 28mm tyres that made the Swiss DT Arc 1450 wheels making the bike look sleek, fast and most importantly add compliance for a smooth yet responsive ride. James spent considerable time during my bike fit out and this proved dividends as my first and second ride were divine, no adjustments needed, looking forward to my next ride. Love the way the bike handles corners and keeps speed on flats, just need to work on my core to get the best out of the bike when climbing! Thanks again team Bike Gallery, your customer service and attention to detail was impeccable.

These guys are professional and simply awesome at doing what they do which is great customer service and the terrific technical know-how. I bought my Dogma F8 from them and recently took it in for a full service and these guys performed all works on time, on budget and most importantly on quality. They even problem solved and fixed the problem that's been bugging me for a long time free of charge! This is obviously the result of an enthusiastic team who are happy to go to the extra mile and still stand by the product they sold me years ago. I don't know what they put in the coffee down there but Lincoln, Cam & James went over the top in getting my bike ordered, built & sorted. I bought what I thought was the latest model only to be rung by Lincoln two weeks later informing me of a just-released model and would I like to change? Sure would! He happily took my now older model back into stock - amazing service. They set my bike up perfectly. I've only adjusted the seat 2mm in the 9 months I've had it. I know how hard it is in the bike trade and these guys offer a level of knowledge, experience and service second to none. Even if you don't need anything it's worth the trip just to see how a professional shop runs. I bet you don't walk away empty handed!

Extremely helpful and friendly staff.I went here to buy a new tube for my bicycle which had a puncture.This was my first time fixing a tire puncture, when I was pumping air in to the tire it burst.Next day I went two store with my wheel and said my story and asked them if I buy a tube will they fix it for me.They fixed the tube to the tire for free and also did not charge for the tube . And they also educated me what might have gone wrong when i was fixng the tube and also gave me some cycling tips too.They seems to have a good knowledge on the domain of cyclicng.And seems like they have a wide range of products that have not seen in other cyclic shops (such as food,drinks).

No task big or small, prompt service with a smile. I was left very happy with the quick and kind service I received. I normally do a good job in fine tuning my gears but for the life of me this time it was not happening. I called the Bike Gallery at 11am asking if they could give me a hand and James very kindly suggested to bring it in for a quick fix. I rocked up at 11.30 and left the bike while I did some grocery shopping. By 11.50 it was ready for pick up noting the issue was a snapped cable inside the shifters. All sorted and ready for the road. James and the team were great. Thank you

Premium bikes with staff members that deliver a premium service. Bike Gallery makes sure you feel welcome when you walk through the door and are happy to take the time to answer the silly questions that customers like myself have. Over 10 years thats where the value for money is in my opinion. If you need help, they have fast response times to any issues you have and more importantly they have good relationships with all their suppliers. Which means you’re always riding you bike and never having to wait for things to get done.

I have been to Bike Gallery a couple of times as my office is not far. One day, after I crashed on tram tracks nearby the shop, I dropped in to get them to have a look at my derailleur hanger. In no time, the shifting was working perfectly again, and I did not even have a chance to look at what magic their mechanic used as I popped into their change room. I was impressed by how professional they approach customers. I will come back to Bike Gallery if I need servicing, more clothing items or spares, and ultimately a new bike.

I organised for Bike Gallery to pack up my bike for shipping to my place in London. They were excellent to work with even from the other side of the world - living up to their reputation as the best bike shop in Melbourne. My dad who has no idea about bikes (but is still a legend) took the bike in to be prepared. They made his day with an exceptional (free) coffee and some good conversation. Not long later my bike arrived in London in showroom condition, which matters. Thanks to Cam and the team.

I was absolutely blown away by the customer service I received from at BG today. After getting a screw in my tyre, these boys were luckily right around the corner and, within no time, replaced my rim tape, patched up my tyre, replaced the tube, made me a great coffee then charged me a more than reasonable price for all the work they did. As someone who doesn’t leave reviews often, I simply couldn’t let their generosity go unnoticed and it was much-appreciated lads.

Was shopping around for quite some time looking at gravel bikes. I emailed a few bike shops but Bike Gallery was the only one that replied consistently and was really helpful. I've had a ripping experience, they helped me mix/match what i was looking for and landed with a Cervelo Aspero. I've been back in a few times since, they're a top crew, appreciate the help.

After drunk-purchasing a road bike on eBay, about which I knew nothing, I visited Bike Gallery to get some clip shoes. The service guy had a look over my bike, fitted my tube, adjusted my seat and gave me some great tips; without charge. I can't wait for something to go wrong so I can head back. A very relaxed and welcoming environment has been created.

I just visited Bike Gallery for advice on an issue with Pram Tyres. Not their area I know however they were incredibly helpful and managed to fix one of my two problems and gave great advice about how to deal with the other. If you can find better more friendly helpful staff than these guys I would be amazed. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I had flat tyres with my electric scooter. I walked in expecting to be turned away but the guys there welcomed me with a positive attitude even though I wasn''t a paying customer that day. I got in touch with the guys at bike gallery on easter Saturday after my shoes broke on friday. They were extremely helpful in sorting me out with some rapha pro shoes & even contacted me after a couple of days to make sure the shoes were working for me & that i had no problems. Great bunch of guys & very friendly shop.

The best brands (think: Q36.5, Mosaic, Parlee, Cervelo etc.) fantastic coffee and a relaxed environment staffed by knowledgable people who are super friendly - what more can you ask for? They're always happy to take the time to answer questions, are open late and offer two different group rides every weekend.

Finding a missing Campag chain ring bolt was causing me grief, but staff rummaged through the random spares box & came up with the goods, plus insisted they not charge me for it. Only a very small item but very generous gesture & great customer service.
