Typical Canada Post work ethics, arrived at the post office located inside the Shoppers Drug mart located at 3781 Strandherd Dr, Ottawa just before it was supposed to open at 11:00a.m. There were 5 people in line waiting for the post office to open, however, the person working that day Kyle Brown was not there. I enquired at the pharmacy desk asking where the C.P. employee was. I was told at 11:08 Kyle was on his way. This type of service is absolutely ridiculous, I drove there to mail one letter but was not going to wait for Kyle to show up. Employees like Kyle Brown who do not honour their hours of work should be fired. Everyone in line today was not too happy having to wait for this inconsiderate employee of Canada Post.

I usually go here because of exceptional service. The tall dude with the deep voice cracked a few jokes once and he made me laugh. Good vibes. Yesterday was a tough day, apperently a staff member recently quit and they were short staff, the line was long. I was sending some of my art work to my friend across the country and was gonna take the prepaid box since I didn't have any packaging and that was the easiest option ($27). He pointed out that there's another option if I don't want tracking, only $8, and even cut up cardboard to help prevent my art print from being damaged. Much much appreciated. Hope he finds good staff soon and know that he's doing a great job holding the fort down.

A racist old lady works there. I Went there to send something but decided not to send the parcel due to high shipping cost. I was extremely polite is telling the lady that I do not want to send it anymore, because the content was not worth even $5 where the quoted shipping cost was $15. She made a very audible sound expressing her frustration while making an annoyed face and looked away from me. Would not say anything, would not acknowledge me anymore! If anyone from Canada Post is reading this, please investigate this and take action. You have hired a racist individual , who has no place in your team. Everyone else, AVOID this location.

Despite multiple complaints, this continues to be the most poorly managed post office with incompetent/lazy postal carriers. For some reason they are incapable of leaving delivery notices. It seems like if your job is to deliver mail and leave notices but you can't do that, perhaps it's time to find a new job. Since there is apparently zero oversight, management is useless. The clerks at the location are great but don't expect to ever receive your mail/packages since no one will ever bother to attempt delivery or let you know that it's waiting at the post office.

Service here is usually typically Canada Post. It's OK. Often takes a long time to do anything, but generally speaking that's because there aren't enough people/tills to do the work. There's one guy that works there who's just downright rude, doesn't seem to want to be there. Gave me a package that required ID without asking me for ID. Other than that, it's a post office.

I was expecting a parcel. I was keeping an eye on the tracker and it said the item is out for delivery. so i was waiting outside since 9 am. at 10 am, the status changed to notice card left as the resident was not home. it says they tried delivering at 9:49 am which is not true as I was outside waiting for them. absolutely pathetic service.

Twice already in December there's an immense line and only one overworked but excellent employee at opening time. ITS CHRISTMAS TIME FOOLS. YOU. NEED. TO. ADD. MORE. STAFF. Edit - still in line. Listening to all the people leaving and saying they're going to the nearest Staples and using FedEx is pretty hilarious.

Sérieusement, le commis qui travaille le dimanche à 11h ( n'a pas de nametag) ne comprends pas qu'il doit être prêt à servir les clients à 11h et non 11h15, 11h20 etc. Ça fait 4 fois que j'ai la mauvaise expérience à cet endroit là. I had a terrible experience at this Canada post. The parcel got missing because the guy that attended to me didn't enter the correct address and there was no sender's information. He was mean and rude. Avoid this location by all means.

So I just return my Amazon in the store, I don’t understand how an racist could work at the store. A lady looks like around 40-45, very rude and disrespectful to customer. Just disappointed how Canada getting more and more racism.

I was first in line but still had to wait for 10 minutes while one employee was busy but two other employees busied themselves doing nothing in particular. Total ignorance combined with no courtesy to the public.

Holiday season and only ONE employee working?! They refused to serve me even though I was in line before closing time. Is it my fault that you have poor management skills?! Ridiculous.

They are open late here which is nice. There is pretty much always a line at this location, but the staff are just so helpful and friendly (not something you always find these days).

Super friendly staff, can be a long wait at times but after visiting other locations in the city, the customer service outweighs it all.

They fail to deliver packages to your home and force you to the post office, even when you pay for expedited shipping on small items.

Whoever delivers the mail from this location needs to be investigated since they don't actually attempt to deliver the mail.

J'y étais à 2 reprise et les agents étaient très efficace et très gentil. J'ai trop apprécié leur efficacité.

No matter what the time of day there is always a long lineup at this place and only one staff on duty.

They have Kyle this guy is amazing person he is so supportive and friendly. Big thanks to him
