I want to give it higher because the lady last night was super helpful. It's July 30th, 2020 at 2:30pm and I still cannot get my package that was available last night as of 5:30pm. This is a gift for a friend that I need by the end of the day today. The internet was down last night and still is, however the attendant was willing to look through every shelf to see if it was available. She was unable to find it after 30 minutes so it is likely it was misplaced or not unloaded yet (to be fair to her the notice was for the next day even though tracking said ready for pickup). It is 2:30pm on the next day and the attendant has refused me service because the entire system is down now and there is no alternative to using the computers. There is 'nothing they can do' for pickups because it has to be scanned out. I do understand issues like this happen but how can there be no contingency plan at all? A third computer not directly tied to the two at the counter? Use physical forms to be signed indicating the pickup has occurred and then entered into the system when it is operational. Doesn't seem too far fetched for me in 2020....

I recognize I seem to be a lone positive among the sea of negatives, but these guys get five stars for having the best hours of any Canada Post around the area. Love that they are open late. I see all the negative posts about the lady with grey hair at the counter. I've had her more times than I can count and I don't mind her. Maybe she won't give you a big smile, but she is very fast and efficient. She knows her stuff inside and out as well. I'd rather have speedy service and get out of there faster than a smiley employee that doesn't know what they are doing. Fortunately most of the staff here is solid. And for everyone that thinks this place is bad, try mailing something to the USA from the Colonnade location and let me know how that goes for you.

The main lady at the desk is so extremely unhelpful. She tried to tell me my package contained weed - it quite literally did not in any way and I personally had to pick it up. She then after giving me grief over picking up the package NEVER CHECKED MY ID. I have ordered from the same company with the same pick up restrictions countless times during COVID and never did I have an issue with another person picking up my package with their ID. The manager at the Shoppers wasn’t helpful at all when I tried to get assistance. The manager and the main mail lady then told me to complain about them to Canada Post but they don’t work for them???

I feel obligated to leave this review as a previous review was very unkind to the girl who helped me today, Fatima. She was exceptionally helpful when I had several questions and helped me trouble shoot the best way to send my parcel. She handled multiple customers with different issues at a high-pressure time of year (week before Christmas) and was friendly in her service to all. I agree with other reviewers that this office should have better staffing at peak hours, as a line can quickly build with only one person working. That said, Fatima was a credit to her office today and I had a great experience in her capable hands.

Very rude clerks over the phone and in person, dealt with rose on 3 occasions once on the phone and twice in person. Each time she was very condescending and un-willing to help. i had to stand up for myself and ask her to please calm down no need for attitude she finally started to smile a bit and relax with me. I think the staff here definitely needs to be re-evaluated or trained better .... oh and she never told me my tracking number was on my receipt I ended up throwing it out and now they cannot help me. A client shouldn’t have to defend themselves at a post office...

If I could rate this place zero stars I would. Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life, I am a respectful young man who never goes out my way to give people a hard time but that lady is absolutely rude. She always gives me a horrible experience and has some type of animosity against me in wich I do not understand, and I'm now seeing I'm not the only person who thinks that. With that being said I now go to the McCarthy location even though the Bank Street one is my local location wich is absolutely ridiculous. Do not come here!

I wish I could give this 0 stars. Worst experience of customer service I’ve ever received. The old lady that works here (all the time) is the grumpiest, rudest person I’ve ever come in contact with. Although coming to the post office WE are paying for their service, somehow she makes you feel like you did something wrong. Make sure you have ALL day as she’ll take an eternity to get through the line and make you feel like your parcel is so inconvenient to her. I will be going to UPS or FEDEX to avoid this terrible experience from now on.

The older lady with the grey hair is so incredibly RUDE!! If you call she’s rude, if you go in the store she’s rude. Every time I have the misfortune of having to pick up a package at this location that same miserable old woman is there scowling at every customer. She must be related to the manager or something because there’s no way someone that blatantly rude and disrespectful has a job dealing with the public. She seems like the type of mean old lady who kicks cats and kids for fun. Stay far far away!!!!

Fatima and some other old lady were very rude and unapproachable. I have been mailing parcels for poshmark for the longest time and I have never come across such rude Canada post staff. First it was; don’t use the tape ?! Like are u kidding me. I usually drop off parcel and get reassured that my parcel would be scanned. Do you know that it has been more than 16hrs and yet I haven’t received confirmation?! It’s really sad that canada post would place such staff in their business

Absolutely disgusting Staff. Both a man and a woman are horrible. A staff called Anne was very rude and condecending and we gave her the mail and she pushed it back the counter and she was like you need to Close it ( eventhough the staff does that) and she gave us the glue gun yhat is used by the staff. We asked her why? And she looked at us and ignored us. So rude I will never use this location again and they make me not want to use Canada Post at all even!

I wish i could give 0 stars. Canada Post driver lied and said they delivered the notice WHILE I WAS HOME and while i also have a camera proving no one ever came! So when I am trying to be safe and get things delivered (paying extra to do so) Canada Post doesn't care that I tell them their driver's lie and I still have to go out of my house to get my package. I will never be using Canada Post again if I can avoid it.

Every old person working in this location is rude AF. On the phone and in person, if you hate your life so much don’t work there and try to make people’s life miserable like yours. All my business requires shipping and I’m switching all to UPS not because Canada post even care but just so I won’t visit this location ever again. Disgusting people won’t even help to check if your item is ready for pick up.

The staff at this particular location should go on a course to learn what customer service is. I've had multiple encounters with different staff and what I observed they absolutely despise working there. They come off as rude and arrangant. From teens to elderly folk. Does it kill them to smile or ask how can I help you? As mentioned in the previous reviews.... The elderly lady needs to go!!!

Lady over there is doing a great job pushing away customers. She was not pleasant to dealt with, was rude when I made a mistake with my package and not helpful at all. If you don't like your job, go work somewhere else, just don't make the customer's life harder. This place is 2 minutes from me, but I rather go to McCarthy or Walkley just so I don't have to deal with her again.

I do feel canada post is overpriced, so hardly use them. that being said, this review is about the actual location and staff. I've had some unfriendly or unhelpful service, and some very friendly service, so on average I'm happy to give 3 starts. i was "inspired" to post by the large number of 1 stars. hopefully there is somebody in management to look into that!

Was refused service because the clerk didn't want to lift the package that was brought in. Told me the weight limit was 50 lbs. Even when I showed them that the weight was printed on the side of the box from the manufacturer almost 10 lbs under the limit they still refused service. Also refused to give that Canada Post's outlet number.

Very poor service. Employees are disrespectful every time I visit. I’ve been going here for years now and it hasn’t changed. Recently they’ve been very short staffed and put papers on the desk saying “they’ll be back in 15mins”. This place needs to hire new staff to maintain a kind and reliable environment.

Appalling customer service. I am thoroughly disgusted by how I was treated at this location. The teller was rude, dismissive, and very unhelpful. Canada Post needs to hire customer-service oriented staff at this location. Or at least hire staff that don’t treat the customers like trash. Appalling.

Seems like there totally no help keep getting me & the sender go around in circles and wait for long amount of time have lost a large box with a lot of items that were high end & they totally ignoring us for the huge box that disappeared in thin air… they’re no help…

Abysmal customer service from a man named Preston. Consistently rude to customers. Witnessed him being horribly impatient to an older woman in line who struggled to speak English. This approach to customer service is absolutely unacceptable.

I find the staff to be consistently rude and very unhelpful (on multiple occasions) - for instance once asked how to ship a package to this location and I was told to go to 'the website' and the staff was unwilling to write it down for me.

Horrible client service from an associate named Preston. Walked to him when there is no one, he said”you walked to me I will still walk away.” No greeting whatsoever, don’t understand why people with those attitude are even hired.

I'm a regular customer and they might be short staffed sometimes but they are friendly and kind. I'm against that earlier comment, Every person needs they're break. You can wait 15 min, it's not the end of the world.

Josee-Anne is both efficient and professional. Helped me many times with my shipping needs with great customer service. Plus, this location has great opening hours that allows me to ship stuff after my 9-5 work.

Came here at 1 PM today (30 March 2022) to be served by a very rude lady. I later came back in the evening at 6 PM where there was a different lady who was much better. But I'm still going to give them 1 star.

I am very grateful to the postal employee, a young girl who worked today on October 14th. She was very polite, friendly, responsive and very helped me with sending important documents. Thank you very much!

Just got charged $16 for delivery of a wristband via regular mail. By far the worst parcel delivery/mail company. Never have they done an acceptable job delivering my packages/mail. DO NOT USE CANADA POST

If a package requests a signature or duty, they do not even attempt to deliver it. Since Canada Post refuses to provide the paid for service, its literally a scam. Useless. Do not use them.

Appalled by the postal clerk named Preston. He is always bitter and abrupt with customers. A person with no apparent human decency should not be working with customers.
