This is our first year at Cav Rd and so far I couldn’t be more pleased with the school. Like many parents, we had the private vs public debate, but are extremely pleased with our choice. Educating a child is much more than what is learnt inside the 4 walls of a classroom, and the savings we make on school fees allows us to spend on extra-curricular activities and travel. The teachers at the school are very engaged with their students. There is constant communication with parents about the happenings in the school and my son’s study schedule and expectation. I particularly love that they offer after-school tutoring sessions and homework club. My son attends every week to do his homework and assignments, having a teacher handy to assist and answer any questions where needed. This saves a lot of tears and frustration (mainly from me) with having to assist with homework. I also love how they have raised the bar with the school uniform (formal school bag, hat etc). These are required for incoming new students only at this stage, so as the older grades graduate and move on, it won’t be long before the whole school body will have a standardised formal uniform. The previous school principal left a great legacy and it is my hope that the new incoming principal continues on the road to bring further successes to the school.

My son bullied for 2 years getting pelted w fruit Principal and Deputy were useless in protecting him, he nearly didn’t finish! My daughter had similar problems I considered complaining about the principal and deputy , the principal and deputy would not control the boys in her year body shaming her and calling her names, when she took matters into her own hands and started fighting back she got suspended which then enabled the boys to continue harassing her, complaints made, boys continued the body shaming, we have moved to a new school. The principal lied to me and seems to encourage the boy brigade! Send your kids to a nicer school!

My mum and her sister went here, my self and my sister also went here my cousin also went here and i hope my kids will also come here i have fond memories of great teachers great equipment and a very great sports programs. This is a Great School!!!

The school is not soo great as they many creepy teacher lurking in the bathroom i was in the stool and heard a scream outside yelling for help! as i heard a snip, but anyways there food was great as my favorite school lunch they is famous sausage!

For a school that strives to be ''the best school in QLD'', it has a very long way to go. The staff are not friendly nor helpful. The student body has a lot of physical fights compared to many other schools, with teachers no where in sight.

A wonderful school. A positive culture, great leadership and dedicated teachers. My children are very engaged, achieving great results and happy. Lots of extra-curricula activities. Go Cav Rd.

in grade ten, i was bullied by grade eights every day for like a year maybe two and it culminated in me having a panic attack and moving schools. 10/10 love my new school

Teachers bully the students and they don’t give you any tertiary options unless you’re part of the sports program.

When I got sick, the guidance officers just Rd me to drop out of school and gave me no help. Just don't go here.
