A nice quiet secluded place to spend some time on your own or with a friend. Right next to the beach to rest your legs after that beach walk. I regularly go to this spot to have lunch and contemplate the things in my life. Can get busy on warm sunny days, so get there early.

Great little park right beside the beach. Undercover picnic tables with bench seats. Not very busy even in the warmer months. Probably due to lack of toilets and playground equipment. Still, it is great for a small gathering....once Covid restrictions are eased.

A wonderful facility with great staff! The team went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable, and they were very helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely stay again when we need to be in Nelson.

Meditation area for this morning. Crystal clear water, beautiful sunny morning and many dogs to say hello whilst meditating on the beach listening to the waves lap up on the beach. Lovely lovely lovely

Smallish green park with heaps of seating some of which is undercover. Ideal for picnics with the sounds of the sea and birdlife in the background. Opening to beach out the back of park.

Awesome open space for a picnic and close to the beach.
