If I could give a 10 Star review I would! The entire team at Chism Bros. Painting was amazing, professional and very communicative throughout the entire process. We just bought a new home so we needed the entire interior painted. Our first interaction with the team was with their sales manager, Victor, who came to our home to give us an estimate for the job. He was professional and friendly and was very understanding when it came to what we wanted and our budget. We got several bids from local painting companies, and we decided to go with Chism because of their professionalism, competitive pricing, and outstanding reputation in the business for over 35 years. Once our job started, Freddie and his team were able to accommodate our early start date and get some of the house done so we could move in, which was much appreciated with a toddler. Throughout the project, Freddie and his team were very courteous, attentive, and professional. They were also extremely meticulous, which I very much appreciated! I even decided to change the paint color in my bathroom and they were very understanding and made the switch without any issues. They worked very quickly and actually finished the job a few days early, which was so nice since we had just moved in. I really can't say enough good things about this company and the team we worked with. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing paint work at their home or business. You will not be disappointed! They certainly over delivered for us and we truly appreciated it!

Very pleased with Chism Brothers - the entire process was friendly and professional. Our consultant James asked questions & spent an hour to understand what we wanted and worked with us to get a wonderful final product. James spent an hour going over things, and was in no rush to move on to his next project, which was in stark contract to other bids we received. I offered to let one of the other bidders park in our garage space (since street parking is metered) and his response was "I put in enough money for 20 minutes - that should be enough". He then walked in and asked us what color and paint we wanted, whereas James/Chism first got to know us and what we were looking for and then helped guide us towards colors we ultimately chose. Viernon and his partner did a wonderful job of painting - taking care to mask things properly and one thing my wife looked for right away was straight lines where paint changed color between living spaces. She was very pleased at the quality of the work. Very highly recommend Chism for quality work at a reasonable price by people who care. Carolyn in the office was a delight to work with as well. PS: The complimentary roasted coffee beans James gave us upon arrival was delicious!

This was a wonderful company from start to finish. I needed the exterior of my home painted. Mike Chism came out for the estimate. He was on time, professional, and quick. He explained a lot about the different paints for my exterior type and offered suggestions for someone to do some repair work. That company was great. I received a fair quote from Mike and scheduled the work that would last four days. I emailed and spoke with the office manager, Carolyn, a few times and she was very polite, professional, and on the ball. She sent me Gorge as my project manager. What an incredible worker. He showed up on time and ready to work. He went over the job with me first and answered all my questions. Gorge was on time every day and let me know what he was going to be doing that day. I really liked his communication and the effort he put into his work. He checked with me regularly to make sure I was satisfied with how everything was progressing. He was very meticulous and experienced, and he managed his workers very well. They seemed to like working for him. When they were done they cleaned everything up so it was all neat. All around satisfaction! I would highly recommend to anyone and I will rehire when needed.

I had an appointment for an estimate at 8:30. Just a couple of minutes past 8:30 I get a call saying that he seems to be at the wrong address and that he would be here shortly. I let him know I had other painters stop by later, which might create an overlap. He jokingly said that would be fine as long as he gets there before. I called the office since nobody picked up left a message asking if they knew why he might have the wrong address, since I provided all of my contact info. After a short time goes by I get another call telling me that he would be here in about 15 minutes and if I wanted to reschedule. I told him that I am ok as long as he shows up in 15 minutes. That was the last I heard. No calls from the office or anything explaining the reasons for any mix up. I think their claim of superior service begins with your first contact and they did drop the ball, but what made me give this experience 1 star is because no effort was made to correct the situation.

We have used Chism Brothers painting for many projects over the years: a big exterior repair and repainting, selected interior work, and most recently, three jobs requiring a limited time frame. Chism painters are first class: prompt, neat, thorough, expert ... and every time the painter goes above and beyond. I think I know about color, but James Becker came up with excellent suggestions that were subtle but made a huge difference. Several years ago we recommended Chism to a friend whose classic North Park home needed exterior painting. I believe James went to her house, too, and with his experience with classic Spanish style homes, he offered suggestions that made the architectural details pop. Carolyn, the scheduler, also goes above and beyond. She is extremely professional and helpful, listens carefully to what we need as she manages the painters' schedules.

Chism Brothers Painting is the best paint contractor we have used. We have had three major paint projects with Chism Brothers over the past ten years. The exterior of the house, which is 1949 red wood. Repainted all kitchen cabinets, and cabinets in both bathrooms. Finished product looked better than when we originally had them installed. Just painted 1949 metal windows on entire house, which are higher maintenance. Helped us find a solution to a glazing problem on our old metal windows. Chism Brothers Painting is licensed and bonded. Chism also uses the best quality paint to match the materials to be painted, and their use. Staff is professional from the owners, estimator, scheduler, and painters. Marty has always done a 10 rated paint job on all three of our projects, and has been with Chism for over 30 years. Highly recommend.

As new homeowners we were a little lost on how to go about getting our kitchen cabinets painted, but Chism Brothers Painting made the process extremely easy for us by providing high-quality work and service. The whole experience with Chism Brothers was fantastic. Carolyn's kindness is felt from the first call to inquire and schedule my appointment for painting. Grant came around and we talked about each room, door and trim that needed painting. Grant took notes and I was given a quote in a thorough and efficient amount of time. I had a couple of changes at the last minute that Grant easily to add to the project. Finally, Sergio, the kindest person and wonderful painter. Sergio went above and beyond in his painting and keeping everything clean and organized. Sergio hauled out a heavy built-in desk he removed for us. All around it was a great experience and I look forward to working with Chism again.

Chism painted our kitchen cabinets and a bathroom vanity. The cabinets were builders grade oak and extremely beaten up. I had received four different estimates and Chism was competitive with the other licensed ones. You get what you pay for and with cabinets I would recommend not going by price alone. Guy out estimator was very responsive and knowledgeable. Our main painters were Victor and Juan. They were amazing, professional, expert painters. We are so happy with the way the job came out! It looks better than we could have expected. Chism has specific painters that do cabinets and it is for good reason. So happy we went with Chism.

I shopped around before deciding who to use to paint my kitchen cabinets. I was limited in space to have them work in my kitchen, and I was concerned of the type of paint they would use, the mess in the kitchen, and the duration of the project. All that to say, they were amazing to work with. Carol, the office manager is very thorough in walking you to the process and making sure you are comfortable with the dates, etc. Raul, the project manager is very professional and he explained every step in detail. The work was completed in time, the materials they used are high quality and I am very pleased with their work.

From start to finish Chism Brothers was professional and exceptional in its service delivery. We asked Chism to paint nearly 40 plantation shutters which involved taking them down, sanding them, and painting them white (they started a mahogany color). The results are outstanding, the pricing was fair, and the work done by the crew (led by Victor) was meticulous and extremely high quality. We also had them paint two rooms and our garage. All in all, a great experience and would definitely use them again for other projects.

Chism brothers painted our kitchen cabinets and kitchen walls. They were incredibly professional and detail oriented throughout the entire process. Our cabinets were older cabinets that we didnt want to pay to fully replace, but we wanted to make them look as nice as we could with the older cabinets and Chism brothers did just that! They sanded everything down, re-drilled holes for our new handles, and made them look brand new.

Great company....do high end work. Management is very clicky. As a employee....if you don't chew the .... 'Bit ....so to speak. Don't stay there. Also I got screwed out of a AWO/bonus. So watch yourself. And they'll try to pass one top coat on stucco...when it asks for 2 on contract.So watch the application process so they are honest! I was a project manager.

What a great find! Very pleased that I used Chism Brothers to restore my mahogany door. The stripped the original paint, stained and sealed with three coats. These guys are experts. They'll talk your ear off about the technical aspects of paint and paint application. My only issue was paint color selection. That process is broken. But the sales person + the guys who painted more than made up for that problem.
