5 stars is an understatement! I’ve worked with many Contractors and Local SD Painting stands out above them all. Chad provides timely responses, follows through on commitments, and the finished product is incredible. We had our house painted a few weeks ago and have already received 4 compliments from the neighbors. Martin and his crew provided excellent color recommendations on our door and concrete paint, was extremely patient and kind and made us feel like his top priority. All individuals from this company that we encountered on our job were professional, trustworthy and provided an outstanding final product. Our neighbors even shared high remarks about Martin and his crew with us, which made us feel so good about the company we hired to paint our house. This company used to be reliable but sadly, they are no longer. If you are someone that values your money and actually expects quality work- do not use them. They are so sloppy and ruined my brand new home leaving me with thousands of dollars in damages. We had paint all over our brand new doors, drips all over, paint on expensive fixtures and then they walked off the job because the owner Chad couldn't handle being told what he had done wrong. Everything was someone else's fault, meanwhile, it was only his fault as he is the owner and this was his work. Not to mention he is beyond expensive for low budget, unprofessional work. If you have seeing problems, like wasting money or low expectations this company is perfect for you but if you're someone like me that wants to actually be HAPPY with your paint, do not use them, sloppy, horrible, home damaging MESS of a company.

Chad and team just wrapped up painting the exterior of our historically designated home. It was a complicated job involving scaffolding and a tremendous amount of wood rehabilitation. The Local SD Painting team helped with scaffolding and carpenter coordination as well as worked extensively with us as we picked paint colors. I also had the experience of being at home through most of the process. The team not only executed incredible work, but were amazingly kind, generous, and an all around a pleasure to have around. The house was impeccable whenever they left, but really overall the general kindness and flexibility (always happy to work around our baby's nap schedules) was amazing. We have received dozens of compliments, both about the look from the street as well as the extensive amount of detailed wood and stucco work the team executed. Thank you!

We just had the interior of our home repainted by Local SD Painting. Chad and Lalo provided excellent customer service, Orlando, Hugo, and Abraham did an amazing job painting, and everyone was SO nice! Local SD Painting makes sure the job is done right and stress-free for their clients. They communicated constantly throughout the process and updated us along the way, their attention to detail was excellent, and they kept our home clean during the job. We really feel they went above and beyond and it's clear they take so much pride in their work (which is often hard to find these days). We highly recommend them, and we will definitely only be using Local SD Painting for any future painting jobs (we've already hired them again to do some exterior work).

I’ve worked with local contractors as a property manager in San Diego for over 10 years, however when I came in contact with Chad of Local SD Painting recently requesting help for our personal residence, I was blown away by the level of customer service and professionalism he provided! I hired this company to do interior spot repair and touch-up painting which actually is one of the most difficult tasks of a painter - to blend in new paint with old paint and in some cases blend in new texture with old texture. The job they did is the best I've seen. A business like this is only as good as it's employees that actually do the work and I could tell they do not hire cheap laborers as many companies do. The painter was very skilled and experienced. Truly professional. Yet pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

The foreman Martín was on top of scheduling and timelines around the other contractors working on my home. Chad Flood, the owner, was positive, responsive and when the unexpected popped up, he met it with "no problem, we can work around that." Giovani, who did lots of the painting had such a helpful attitude and warmth about him. To have three people all be unbelievable in so many ways says lots about the company as a whole. Pure professionalism. Will never hire anyone else to paint again.

This is a fabulous group of painters to work with. I had two weeks between when sellers moved out of a condo in La Jolla and my furniture arrived. Local S.D. Painting told me where to go to get great paint samples, carefully masked the rooms, and had the entire condo transformed from mud brown to lovely earth tones when I moved in. Then they came back for touch-up after the movers left! I was so fortunate to find this responsible, efficient group.

They don't tell you how hard it is to pick a good paint color! It is even harder to pick multiple paint colors for a craftsman house. I am so happy we went with this company because they were so patient and helpful during the process. They had an amazing attention to detail and were very polite and professional! It's one of those things that I hope I don't have to do again too soon but if I do, I know who I am going with!

This company did a wonderful job painting the exterior of my cottage house and repair some spots that needed to be fixed. They did the job in a week and the team that came to work was very respectful. They included a lead inspection by the city at the end of their job and gave me the certification of the inspection.
