It was a pleasure working with "Paint Green"from the very beginning to the very end. After several estimators from different companies came and gave us bids, though many of them were very good, we knew there and then that this would be the company. And our gut feeling was right on. You see, you have to look at the overall picture not just go with your lowest bid. You have to look at the quality, the workmanship, the professionalism, what you may need, or not need or if there's any help they may provide you with such as advice, etc. And the time that it may take to complete the job from the very beginning to the very end etc. etc. What we admired about the company was, they weren't trying to upsell us on anything they were not like some mechanics where they would say you need this, and you need that so that they would be able to make more money. They're extremely honest. Another thing that we admired about the crew was, that they were never ever late. Most of the time they were always a half hour early and ready to go. Each member of the crew knew exactly what to do and what not to do. And did not get into each other's way. They constantly cleaned after themselves and not leave any clutter we had nothing but compliments from neighbors and pedestrians alike.They worked so well together, that they seem to be like a well-oiled "Painters machine" it's funny because they all said basically the same exact thing, "That their boss treats them very, very well and because of this, they all love their job, and it makes them work much better when there's no stress and it reflects on their quality of their work and we all agreed. they also said they love their boss and their Company" so much so that this is why they'll bend backwards and do everything and anything for their boss and for the company because by doing so, they'll know they'll have constant work because of the quality that they do while at the same time, be able to feed their families. If we could give them a gazillion Stars, we would. Our advice to you would be think twice, and maybe three times before you hire someone else. Remember, you'll always get what you pay for. Dear John Peek and Jon Ray, Thank you for building companies that exceeded our expectations in every way – the quality of work, the quality of communication, the accuracy of time estimates, the friendliness and helpfulness of everyone we met and last, but not least, the skill, knowledge and enthusiasm of a clearly quality-oriented staff. Although everyone we interacted with did a great job, we would particularly like to single out for praise Juan and Valenti. The work Juan did as painter, communicator and leader, and the work Valenti performed as his right-hand man, was exemplary, from set-up to clean-up. Particularly impressive were Juan's approach to the project as more of a mission than a job. He sought to get everything just right. Protection of floors, masking, fixing walls, corners, closet doors, drapes, holes, >everything<, was done in a painstakingly careful and successful way. If something detracted from the quality of the job, he would deal with it: if it was a dusty old glass lampshade, he would dust it; if they were non-color-matched electric receptacles, and switches, he would paint them! The main painting was done beautifully with multiple coats. Touch-up painting was also done beautifully. In the couple of tiny spots where the work was less than excellent, it was changed to excellent almost immediately when pointed out, because Juan and Valenti, it seemed, had the knowledge, expertise and motivation to get everything just right. As an example of where Juan went farther out of his way than I ever would have expected: an expensive wall-mounted speaker looked like it was about to fall to the ground due to some flooring work just completed. Juan, instead of masking the speaker and mount, carefully disconnected the wires from the speaker and then completely removed the speaker and mount from the wall. When the painting was completed, he reinstalled the speaker and mount using new anchors, and reconnected the wires to the speaker. This type of kindness, willingness and ability to make the place look just great, and to deal with all sorts of issues as they arose, went way beyond what we were thinking of when we hired Peek/Green. Obviously, we're extremely happy with your work and our choice of painters. Thank you again, very much.

PaintGreen/Peek Brothers recently completed an exterior house painting project. We are extremely satisfied with the process and product, from start to finish. James the estimator was friendly, efficient, detail oriented and answered all our questions, including a number of follow up inquiries by text that received prompt replies. The contract was simple and not full of complex legalese, just the essential elements explained in plain English. The scheduling was easy - Lisa gave us options right away, and when those did not work, because we needed HOA approval and had travel plans, she had us contact her when we were ready, and was able to accommodate us readily. As far as the work: the team of Eric and Umberto, supplemented on several days by two other excellent painters, were wonderful! They arrived on time, communicated well, were respectful of our home and landscaping, cleaned up beautifully every day, and kept us fully informed as to the day's plan and then recapping progress before quitting time. When it became clear that they needed more hands, Eric was able to obtain additional experienced workers to keep the job on timeline. As promised, they powerwashed, protected hardscape, fencing, windows and doors, caulked cracks and sealed around frames, filled, sanded and primed as needed, and did an awesome job of protecting with paper as they sprayed and backrolled the stucco, and sprayed the eaves, fascia and gutters. They were meticulous with their lines and made numerous passes to spot cover where they felt the initial 2 coat cover was light. Honestly, there was not a lot to be touched up, they were so thorough. Numerous community members remarked on what a great job this company was doing and asked for business cards. This business will make you proud of your property and we highly recommend them to all!

I cannot recommend Paint Green highly enough! I just purchased a short-sale condo and it was in complete disarray! The cathedral ceilings had popcorn that was not only outdated but dirty as could be! All of the walls were disgustingly dirty as were the baseboards. I met with Jon Ray to get an estimate and to go over color choices. We ended up with 5 different colors in addition to vertical striping on two walls. They apply different sheens to give it a subtle look. The outcome is stunning! I dropped by all but one of the four days to check on the progress. I was blown away just after day one! The crew, led by Julian, took great pride in their workmanship and it truly showed! They were meticulous throughout the entire process. Bill was the Project Manager and asked me to meet him on day three to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. It was on that day that I realized I had misinterpreted what Julian and I had discussed the day prior and because of that, he had to repaint the kitchen ceiling. Not for one second did he complain! I felt so badly because they were so close to completion and now they'd have to redo what had already been painted. He kept telling me "Don't worry about it - it's no big deal!" Jon and I met on Friday for the final walk through and I couldn't believe the transformation that had taken place! My condo is absolutely gorgeous now! It's hard to imagine that it took less than one week for Jon's team to turn a disaster into a masterpiece! They left my place 1000% better than they found it in and I will be forever grateful for the level of workmanship they delivered. I cannot recommend Paint Green highly enough and can promise you that you won't find a better company to do business with in San Diego!

The Project: Almost 70% of my interior walls needed repainting. Three walls were also painted in IdeaPaint Clear – turning them into dry erase walls. All the window sills were also painted and some minor wall damage was repaired (caulking, some dry wall screws removed, etc). Ryan came out to the house, helped us pick colors and got a good idea of what we wanted to do. A few hours later I had a very competitive quote in my email. Time line The interior painting only took 3 days. The IdeaPaint Clear took extra time, as the walls had to be sanded smooth and re finished first. Another ½ day of painting was just for the IdeaPaint product. At 8 am promptly 3 smartly dressed painters (All in white, paint marked clothing) showed up and got to work. There was a clear forman, but they worked quickly and quietly the whole time. I barely heard the painters, the only disturbance was from moving the furniture – completely understandable. Around 4:30 they started to pick up and clean. Everything was moved out of the way –all the paint lived in my garage or stacked neatly on a piece of canvas. Every day they swept and cleared any trace of the day’s work. What little paper and plastic covering they used was reused from day to day – unless it was torn or unusable (part of their commitment is executing in an environmentally conscious manor, and it was evident in the attention to detail shown by the painters.). Final Impressions My walls looks great, the IdeaPaint looks amazing (I have to wait 2 weeks for the paint to “cure”). Not a single drop of paint is on my floor, carpet, or furniture. Their disturbance was minimal, and they even worked around my ridiculous Internet wiring. I will hire them again for my next painting project.

Paint Green's Larry, site supervisor, and Carlos, on-site painter, restored my mahogany front door and accompanying sidelights that were weathered and suffering from me having tried to care for it myself with wood stain that wore off unevenly and water damage, well, from water that wet the bottom parts of the door from rain. Although trying my best to restore it to richness myself, my efforts proved way less than professional, which is when I called in the professionals named above. It did take three days of damp, chilly weather that we called Spring this year, making the job to take the full three days and not less. The best thing was the care the workmen took in masking the unpainted surfaces surrounding the door as well as some darkening I required on one of the panels. The color match was perfect, even though I do believe it made for more work for the guys. I am as pleased as is possible for a perfectionist, and I would call upon Paint Green to perform whatever painting jobs I might require in the future. Thank you, Paint Green. You guys are good! My advice to any do-it-yourselfers out there: Stop. Call Paint Green. You'll thank me.

I'm currently in the middle of my second painting job with Paint Green and they are wonderful. I initially hired Paint Greet for a corporate job. They painted our entire office and did wonderful work. The price was very competitive and they finished before the deadline. The owner of the company was thrilled. After the great work they did for my employer I hired them to paint my home. The price was very reasonable and the work was impeccable. My home is small and they helped me pick colors that would maximize the space. I wasn't really sure how much changing the paint colors would help my small home, let me tell you, the difference was night and day. People actually comment that my house is "airy and open". Had the exterior of our house painted by the guys from PaintGreen. The owner Jon was great to work with, very professional. Excellent and timely communication and very responsive to our needs as we were out of town for part of the project. Sergio Jr. and Valente did fantastic work from prep to cleanup and were friendly, respectful and happy to explain everything. Sergio added a great blackwash to our red chimney and made sure to work with us until it was exactly right. I was especially impressed by their attention to detail. I did the final walkaround with an extra critical eye but couldn’t find a single issue. The price was very slightly higher than some of the other bids but well worth it. I’d hire them again without hesitation for a paint job.

After reading positive reviews about Paint Green, I called for an estimate. Chad Flood is very professional and gave me a very fair quote. The 3 painters were friendly, hard-working, paid attention to detail, and cleaned up well. They took pride in their work and are proud of the company. Initially, we only wanted the ceiling painted in our rental because our daughter was planning a paint party to paint the walls. Chad offered to prime and patch up all the walls to make their job easier. This company really goes the extra mile, rewards their employees, and uses environmentally safe products. Job completed on time with great results! With help of scheduler, Chris, paints were matched perfectly using long-standing color files from Peek Brothers previous painting of our house inside and out. Skilled painters Larry and Jon were well organized, tidy and up-beat during their work. When accessing the interior, they were respectful of those in the house and low key (low profile), much appreciated as we work from home and are busy as well. The duo touched up damage from recent installations and in general sharpened up our house to be the best it can be, even tho it was built in the late 60s. Good choice of paints and thoughtful preservation and labeling of some gallon cans to be used in the future.

Jon came out to give me a quote to paint the interior of my house. What a joke! the estimate was 3 times more then all the other quotes I had gotten for my 850 Sq ft house. He kept staring me down and used aggressive tactics in order to secure the bid right then and there. He suggested that I changed the colors of my closest to plain white to match the selves and trimming so it would be easier for the painters to do their job in order to save me a couple of hundred bucks but that would only make my charming house dull. I'm not going to use him and I'm pissed off that he wasted my time!!!

I hired PaintGreen to apply a waterproofing material to a large section of stucco. It took 2 trips to the paint store but they matched the paint color . The original color had been lightened by the sun. They followed the bid perfectly and I was pleased with the results. The job took a day longer than expected due to unexpected rain during the night. Living in a red house means we have to repaint often, as it is among the most unstable of colors. Peek Bros. was extremely knowledgeable about paint choices and recommended a highly stable, long lasting product. I hired PaintGreen to encapsulate "popcorn" ceilings in three bedrooms because they contained traces of asbestos. The work took a couple of days extra because the drying time was longer than originally anticipated and that delayed the repainting. The workers were professional at all times and the job site was clean when they left. I also saved $90 by paying in cash.
