Clyde reserve is located on the same street as a twenty-four hour McDonalds. Normally I would say this is a good thing - who wouldn't want to grab some Maccas and zip down to a park to eat it? Unfortunately it seems a lot of people have had just that idea and the park is littered with wrappers, straws and napkins from Maccas. It is a real shame as the park itself is reasonably nice. It has plenty of trees and a grassy area where you could spread out a blanket and enjoy the sunshine. It is bordered by an industrial estate on one side so it can get a bit noisy with trucks going past. I saw a few lorikeets when I was there last and they looked really pretty amongst the trees. I didn't see any other people there - I'd say the locals mainly use the reserve as a cut through between Clyde Street, Ferguson Court and Hayward Road, which is certainly understandable. It is quite a small reserve and during the working week it is not the most pleasant place in the nearby vicinity available. It's a place to stretch your legs if you happen to be passing by - otherwise it really isn't worth the trip.
Small suburban park of indigenous plants. More of a link between two streets.
