What a fabulous park for the public. Known for its 'off lead' area for dogs, it also has other great reasons to visit: close to beach, birdwatching, walking/cycling paths, close to Altona shops (1km east) and much more. It's large and spacious with plenty of room for everyone. Wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly (playground nearby). Good parking on the north side. Well worth a visit.

A nice short walk in this reserve. Birds can be seen on the offshore islands in numbers and there's an off leash are for dogs. There's walking and cycling paths too, and it's pretty close to the shops in Altona (about 1km away). It's quite a large reserve and great for an afternoon break!

Dogs paradise. Plenty of room for running, jumping and socializing with other canines. Este bins and drinking water available, but a little far from each other. Once a year a Circus is licensed within the Park, which is a little annoying but must say the area's children like it.

Pristine location, children's park, adults walkways, dog play areas, wetlands, city views, bird watch, emenities, long walks. All in one place to accomodate everyone's outdoor needs. Beautiful place to even just sit and relax, well maintained park. Ample car parking space.

Great place to walk the dogs in your life. Our paw buddies love to run, sniff & enjoy just being dogs off-leash. Some care as park not fully enclosed & you dog should come to you when called. One of the biggest off leash areas we have found.

So impressed with this fenced in dog park. Totally recommend to anyone who needs to give their faithful friend an open aired, run off the leash. Well maintained by those who use it the park with minimal amounts of dog poop uncollected.

Awesome place. Great walking paths and the nature life is amazing. Well kept by council with lots of new fauna being planted and maintained. Get the kids out and have a picnic together and enjoy the outdoors again

It's a great big (mostly) fenced field with a drinking fountain for dogs... Half a dozen benches dotted around it.. ample parking. As far as dog parks go... It's pretty good. …

Full of frigging BINDIS at the moment. Not a happy owner and not a happy dog after having over a hundred bindis removed from a cavoodle. Never had this occur here before

Doug Grant reserve is nice to unwind and get a few extra steps in for the day. Being able to walk the dog there allows us both to get our exercise in

It has a huge off leash dog park. Beautiful scenic views of the coastline along the walk. Good place for birdwatching too.
