A wonderful place to visit on any given day. The park has several trails (about 5 miles total). You may choose to hike/walk along the lake or the wild and enjoy the nature. During the season, you may also see deers. Once in a while, we have also seen alligators. The place is pretty. The trails are no less than a state park trail.

This place honestly has very good potential and I did enjoy parts of the hike. BUT there would always be litter not too far from where you’re standing. I don’t think they have people that go out and clean the place up. I could be wrong and they just don’t do an amazing job cleaning.

Gorgeous. If you like to walk or ride bikes this is the place. Trails are very nice and there are a lot of wooden bridges to go over. Beautiful scenery and a lot of water. Will be returning frequently. Gravel trails and some sand trails as well. Perfect for a fat tire back.

Beautiful trails to walk with a lake in the middle. Dog friendly for dogs on leashes. The trails are very well maintained - not a lot of litter or debris. Park benches and picnic tables are available along the trails for resting or breaks. We'll definitely be going back!

We love this park. It’s my favorite place to take the dogs as soon as Texas weather allows. There were quite a few other dogs & people but the park is definitely big enough that running into someone is occasional, not constant. We also saw

If there were security cameras- it would be 5 stars- great trails, but walking here at least 5x a week- too many with dogs off leashes (it’s the law, not a suggestion) and have seen over a dozen car windows broken out this year alone. Hide

Very nice trails. I didn’t see many birds though. I don’t know if it’s due to weather. there were lots of trees. If you’re going for the water, then definitely check out the Heron side of the park (on your right at the entrance) if you’re

Came here for a peaceful afternoon. Was very disappointed. The sign has bullet holes, trash overflowing, no sign of any wildlife, and loud music with bass coming from nearby. The trails look nice but it just was not the wonderful place I

Love this place! I've been going here for years. This park is well maintained. Great place to see wildlife and get some peace and quiet. This park is for Kingwood residents only. You will need a Kingwood "K" sticker to avoid being towed.

My family and I absolutely love riding our bikes here. In fact, we live in Cleveland (30 miles away) and we load up our bikes and head here at least once a week. The trails are very well maintained. We've seen deer, rabbits, squirrels,

My favorite get away. Can easily walk 5+ miles of trail... Bring a dog, bring a friend. Benches intermittent throughout. Some trash bins and doggie doo bags available. Various types of scenery and footpaths (wooden planks, grass, beach

Kind of unsettled by recent volcanic activity, but it's a nice walk. Can see deer in the morning. Haven't yet spotted a gator, though i have heard they're around. Would recommend bug spray, especially in the summer. Sometimes there are

My favorite park for morning walks. It is owned by Kingwood so you havebe a resident and to have a K sticker on your car or you can get towed away. There are quite a few different trails and they are all fairly easy, they are mostly

Nice beach island only accessible by boat or kayak across the way. Amazing trails that are consistently entertaining. I enjoy hiking and this is one of my favorite places to go and enjoy the birds trees and water

Great trail for hiking, biking, running, or afternoon picnic (if that's your thing). Can be a little busy at times but tons of space to explore. Dogs are welcome!

  • Krystal Son

Beautiful trail, but it needs repairs badly as many of the board planks are missing or very precarious to walk on

  • Chad Newman

Nice park. Very well maintained walking paths and elevated paths
