I was reluctant to write a review but I don't want this happening to someone else. I bought a ebike from Electric bikes Brisbane.Jill was amazing and wish I had of finished the sake with her but I went to pick my bike up on a day she wasn't working. I initially missed my hand over appointment so my 10mins of getting bike in car may have been rushed. But I didn't expect my brand new bike to NOT have the handlebars tightened or the staff not to know that a simple Allen key adjustment at the base of handlebar folding bike was all that was needed to get me out of a very scary situation. I ventured out very excited about my brand new ebike and went to steer but handlebars went one way and tyre went the other. I rang staff at Brisbane electric bikes and turns out after speaking to 3 staff, that not one staff member new to tighten base of handlebars with a simple Allen key. Apparently I would need to book a 30 min free appointment in 3 days time for a 5 second adjustment that would have taken 3 seconds on the day, over the phone. My lesson: PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE SAFE AND KNOW YOUR SAFETY CHECKS BEFORE GETTING ON YOUR BIKE I should of checked the handlebars myself but trusted that my brand new bike was all good. I think the disappointing feeling I have is after spending so much money and getting my bike with all this excitement and then nearly having a scary accident with your little dog on the back was a huge let down. Another bike shop ended up helping me for free. What a shame I had to write this review because they do great bikes and the initial customer service was fantastic. Jill knows her stuff, is genuine and really cares. I would have gone back in for a proper handover with Jill nexted time. Be safe. Check and recheck

We were looking to upgrade my current much loved ebike (Specialized) to something that would be more robust for future trail rides & a bigger battery to do longer rides. Sam was very helpful with advise but also gave us the fortuitous opportunity to purchase a bike that would even exceed what I currently required by looking at a Riese Und Muller Nevo3 GT Rohlof (which one of my ebike idols Linda of @a girl and her ebike has bought) Josh was brilliant at the bike rundown, & then able to help iron out a few niggles with Bluetoothing and gear tweaking. While I have been able to just get on and ride, I will definitely have to watch all the videos & manual guides they provide links to to enhance and customise my riding style. I am booked in to do one of their excursion rides this weekend at Kalbar (another perk of buying your bike with EBB) and can’t wait. It’s great to see it’s such a busy shop (& it IS worthwhile to book in any trial rides to get undivided attention) but they are always pleasant, prompt, and courteous people to deal with who passionately love the e-biking experience.

My wife bought a bike from Electric Bikes Brisbane (EBB) last year and loves it. I was a sceptic until I rode it recently and was hooked. After the service she received on her purchase, the only place I looked was at EBB. They not only have a terrific range but guide you through the selection process based on your needs. Many retail outlets just want to churn sales and have little interest in the customer experience but Andrew and the team are invested in ensuring you buy the best bike you can or at least learn something about E-Bikes in the process. First class, friendly and knowledgeable service - faultless. I can't tell you the last time I had this level of customer experience. 5 Stars.

EBB provided a wonderful experience for purchasing my first ebike. The welcoming staff took the time to understand my needs, ideas and riding level to find the perfect cycling solution. Their product knowledge is unparalleled, and they presented me with several ebike options. Discussions with the EBB team broadened my understanding of ebiking and made for an engaging experience. After ebike pick up, I had such a joyous time riding my ebike home, that I won't be going back to an 'acoustic' bike again. I will definitely be heading back to EBB for service, bike upgrades and maybe an e mountain bike in future years. I highly recommend EBB!

I was given the opportunity to test ride each bike and given time to go away and consider which one was right for me before purchasing. Yesterday, I became an electric bike owner. Andrew found the last model of the bike I wanted left in Australia and was able to source it for me at a great price as it was an older model. They’ve been very helpful and all are electric bike owners so are selling products they use themselves. From what I’ve seen when visiting, after-sales services (including servicing) is excellent so I look forward to a long association with EBB. PS. Purchased a Focus Thron2 6.7 from EBB. My first eMTB. The whole experience from pre-order to handover was excellent: communication, assistance with sizing, set-up at handover and a few tips on how to tweak it once I’m out and about. Only a couple of days out on our local trails and I’m loving the bike. Plus, now I can keep pace with my wife!

After riding a manual bike for many years -because of health issues, it was now appropriate to purchase an ebike. I was recommended to EBB. Unlike some others my experience was rather long: a total of 6 weeks in fact to make up my mind. During that time, Jill was patient, helpful and understanding of my needs. Great family run business, excellent service. Only one problem was ebike delivered with 40% charge in battery instead of recommend full charge in manual. I am sure this was an oversight and will not happen again. It is very apparent these people take pride in their work. Highly recommend this shop.

I ordered two e- bikes on a Sunday evening and emailed Josh on the Monday morning to see if the order could be delivered within a week. To my surprise the bikes were delivered on the Thursday morning! What a great experience. I can’t wait for the weekend to show it off at the family picnic.

Have had my Orbea Kemen 10 SUV for about 1 month and could not be happier. Love it! Road tested about 7 e-bikes at various places before purchasing, and the service (and patience!) from EBB staff was exceptional. It is a large investment, and these guys really do seem to understand this.
