I shared this feedback to the team internally, they did not contact or do much about it, and then they emailed and asked for a review.. so it feeds my poor support score of them. Overall, Reid seems like they are a decent producer of bikes, but whoever is in charge of support and customer service needs a serious talking to. Positives: 1) Love the bike, I think its a solid buy for a reasonable price. After just a week my only regret was not buying the e-bike sooner. 2) The service in store has been good. a) The guy in the Brisbane store- sorry don't remember his name, really spent time with me, walking through my options and listened. He was really well informed about e-bikes and assisted with my decision making.. I was particularly delighted to have me guide me through his honest assessment of market of bikes and e-bikafter really doing research (at other bike shops) came back and purchased the e-trail 2020. b) I had to call regarding regarding the negatives (which follow) and the guy in the shop did walk me through most the items that wanted to know. The negatives: 1) The website is not great - was difficult to get the info on the e-bike I wanted, and forced me to go to your shop, for simple answers.. Which was WAY out of my way. 2) This online service support - did not answer my questions, and the manual STILL does not even match what is on my bike. 3) Documentation and guidance with my new purchase.. Look, its not a small ticket item $1700 and I did not get: a) Any documentation on my bike other than a box with a charger in it b) I have no manual - online or otherwise that tells me about battery care, safe operation of the bike, basic maintenance (I have never had disc brakes for instance) etc. I get it, its a bike, and even an e-bike its not that hard to get.. But look, if you don't know that starting the bike up and putting in the assist to 5 can be a safety issue- the thing will take off pretty quick. There should be some though put into how you make sure that customers have: basic documentation on the bike and its components - even online would be fine.. But having me chase it, and still not get anything is pretty disappointing. Ie I would like to know more about 1) Tire pressure 2) The battery, battery care- there is different charges being reported on the battery itself and the console, what is this rated to, how long will it last etc etc. 3) Basic maintenance items on the bike. Cleaning, when to bring in for service. 4) More about the electric motor, how to care for, how it is maintained etc. Even after I sent this detailed feedback to support, got a "Thanks we will take it on board message".. and then crickets.. Wow. Overall, I would not recommend someone purchase from Reid unless they knew a lot about bikes and e-bikes, and really had care of their own bike down and are looking for value. I suspect that's why people buy from others and pay a little more. Service team you area letting a company down that clearly has good/great product!
Reid Cycles is a mixed bag. They sell lovely bikes and their product offering is so appealing that the bikes could almost sell themselves. But their business model is not quite right. They are hoping to sell pretty bikes to young women but they haven't hired any women to work in the store. Their staff are mostly awkward white men with zero customer service expertise except for one of the blokes there who does have warmth and social skills and who even has the forethought to hold the door for a customer who wheels their bike out of the store.Their strongest bicycle offering is for women and children but they only hire white men for sales and service. I didn't buy a bike from them. I just brought my bike in for one service and two puncture repairs over the last three months and spent $140 in 12 weeks. Seriously: I spent 140 dollars in 12 weeks. This is proportionately more value to the company than a woman or girl who comes in and pays $300 for a bike and never reappears again. But Reid has blown its chance with me. A week ago, I picked up my bicycle from a puncture repair. The gentleman who served me was so considerate that he held the door open for me to walk my bike out of the store so that I didn't need to navigate a push-or-pull door. Then after I'd left, I realised that although the puncture was repaired, there was no air in either of the tyres and the seat had been raised by 15-20mm. I wasn't possible to ride it home. Stupid me: I should have gone back and insisted on better service. Instead, I pushed my bike home with the belief that I could inflate the tyres myself and use my sockets to lower the seat. Then my other bike tyre was punctured 24 hours later. I took my bike back and asked for another puncture repair. The tyre was repaired but the customer service was appalling. I'll never go to Reid again for anything. The $140 I spent at Reid since July was misspent. REID management: if you want to sell bikes to women, you need to hire women to work for your company. And you need to institute a system of quality control against your repairs. Nobody will be as stupid as me in spending $140 for two inner tubes.
I had the displeasure of interacting with Tom at Reid Cycles today. He is clearly not a sales person, nor someone with any customer service skills. Is this a bike store or not? If Tom can't make a sale, maybe he should have called over a salesperson. Ultimately, he just walked away when I mentioned being disappointed that there weren't small bikes, but I was absolutely still interested in getting more information and likely ordering a bike. Now I'm not so sure why I would deal with this company when their employees literally walk away as soon as a minor issue arises. Tom is probably losing this company money daily with people skills like that. I drove up to the store, so he's lost me money today on fuel. Thanks for nothing! Update: I wish I could change the rating to negative 1 star after the reply I got to this review. I never cared what color the bike was, and would have been happy to have a bike in my size ordered, but the completely inept and socially unaware employee literally just walked away from me after pointing towards a single women's bike. I will be telling everyone I can about how disappointing Reid Cycles is and how nice my Liv Tempt is in comparison to what I saw during my brief visit to Reid Cycles. I'm so glad I didn't end up with one of their bikes in the end! I got a better bike and still paid less!
Ordered a ladies vintage bike on a Thursday evening, emailed immediately afterwards to change the order to another model. Didn’t receive a response until the following Thursday saying they will check the stock at the store. I chased them up the next day (Friday)they didn’t have it in stock at the designated pick up store, told it would be another 7-10 days for the different bike to be delivered to that store. So asked to switch to have it delivered directly to our home address, which they said they could do. It’s now Tuesday the next week, no confirmation of change of order or delivery, so I email again asking for an update. I then get an email saying the order has been cancelled entirely. I finally received a follow up email from a different person in customer service & who said they couldn’t amend the order at that stage so they cancelled it and I will have to re-order. Refunds take 5-10 days depending on bank, delivery takes 5-10 days, so may end up taking another 10-20 days before I am able to receive the order I wanted. Poor service so far in that the responses don’t provide much useful information, are very slow to respond & weren’t great at providing solutions.
Would not recommend. Customer service can only be described as piss poor, Telstra offers better customer service and that is saying a lot. Ordered bikes was told 2 weeks, 3 weeks pass by we call, get told multiple times the bikes were coming on the day we called. Not once did they call and let us know they had been delayed. It was consistently us chasing. The bike finally arrived yesterday and after being told the day prior it would be a priority build, was still not ready to collect this morning. It was not until after lunch when we called as said we would collect and make ourselves did they finally get it done. Initially when in store to purchase the bikes we waited for half an hour and a guy was asked to serve us multiple times, he for some reason did not want to do this. There is far better shops with better customer service. There was no accountability for the no communication instead being told on multiple occasions “I can’t control the freight company”, the delay would not have been as much of an issue had the store bothered to contact us. Go elsewhere, save yourself the headache.
Excellent service in store with Charlie. I came in looking for a mountain bike or hybrid and I was able to test out 3 bikes before settling on the X-Trail 27.5 . The bike came at an excellent discount and I paid an extra $60 for a 4 year service plan which is also great value. They set up the bike and pannier in less than 30 minutes and I was able to ride home. Reid is known nationally as being the best bang for buck bike manufacturer and it's always good to support a local business that makes the bikes that they sell. I had all my questions and queries answered and received a discount voucher with my purchase as well as a free lock and bike lights. If you are looking to buy a bike be it for commuting, road travel, mountain biking, beach riding or anything else I recommend you check it out in store or on their website. I will definitely back for accessories or if I need another bike. Update: Have had first service and been in a few times for accessories, after sales service has also been fantastic. I bought the bronze level just to make sure my bike is being looked after.
I needed a bike for recovery work on my knee and Achilles and found these guys after internet searching. I looked on the website first to get some kind of an idea on what I was kind of after. I went down to the store and was looked after by the owner/manager(sorry i didn't get your name). I told him about my surgery and injuries and he was very helpful in discussing with me what bike I probably should get. He didn't try and sell me the expensive bikes as i really just wanted it for a bit of recovery and getting home from pizza/beer nights :). Anyway he adjusted everything on the bike for my size etc, put on additional things that I wanted and had it ready for me by the next morning. I am very happy with the bike and the way I was looked after. About 3 weeks later i had a puncture so went back in to get a tube and repair kit and he remembered me and asked how my recovery was going and gave me a discount on the tube and puncture kit. I come from hospitality management and know what great service is. These guys are fantastic and will look after you. Thank you Reid cycles.
I have recently bought couple of bikes for my children from Reid Cycles Brisbane and was so impressed with service I received from John and Josh. From the moment I walked in, John looked after me and my both kids. He gave us options and worked with the kids based on their choices. He prepared bikes for them to do test rides which I believe was the best service a shop could offer as it let the individual have a feel and comfort of bike before it is purchased. John was so patient and even when the kids asked to try different sizes, he basically went and prepared bikes for test drives with a smile on his face. Josh was able to offer bike assembly in a shorter period due to one of my children’s birthday falling within less than a week of purchase. I got a text to pick up the bikes and when I went in to pick up, I was treated the same way as I was treated during my first visit. Overall great experience from start to end. Kudos to both the boys and keep up the good work! Highly recommended!!!
if you are looking for a bike to buy and you don't want to have problems with your purchase, my advice is: don't buy from this store. I received my bike on time and was looking forward to taking it out of the box, mounting it and going out there. Well, that's nothing like what happened. The bike simply arrived with several damages and a missing screw. The big disappointment was even greater when contacting customer service and receiving responses only if I pressed and called the store. The first email was totally ignoring all reported issues and resolving only part of the issue by sending me a partial refund for the item I want to return just because I didn't like the color, all other issues went unresolved and unanswered. So far I'm without a bike, without my money to be able to decide whether to buy in another store that takes their sales more seriously, and without an answer on what I should do. The worst regret and purchase experience.
Both Richie and Adam from the beginning offered top notch customer service, and were incredibly friendly. There were no pushy sales tactics whatsoever, and they definitely knew their stuff. When helping me decide between bikes, I had the opportunity to give each of them a try, and they gave me their honest opinions on whether they thought the bike was the best for me. When I decided to choose between 2 mountain bikes, the 2019 and 2020 model, (2020 was more expensive) Richie was honest and said in his opinion the 2019 model was a tad better for a few small reasons. I also additionally purchased the bronze service package because I believe it is incredibly reasonably priced, and that giving my bike to the experts to be looked over is much better than me giving it a sketchy once-over. Thankyou Richie and Adam, I really appreciate it.
Both quality and service are extremely lacking. My husband and I bought city bikes not even a year ago and we each have a flat tyre about once a month. Not even kidding. Mind you, weve not been riding them through a bush or anything like that, just regular city riding. When we asked about that in store, the employee said "nothing we can do, we have a cheap manufacturer from China and theyre not the best I guess". Its still your brand though? Also, when you buy, they trick you into getting a service package for $$$ (even though 2 services are already included in the price of a bike), but then its impossible to book in for months. Also, when you get it serviced, you still have to pay extra for a tyre replacement and they dont even give the bike a clean. Its a total scheme.
I bought a Granite 1.0 bike online. When I received it the front fork was not aligned. After a quick call to the Head Office and an email with photos attached, I was sent a new one. I assembled it at home but wasn't entirely happy about it. I took it into the Brisbane store where they fixed it and also gave it a quick check-up to see if the bike was correctly assembled. After taking it out for a ride I noticed the back disk brakes making a terrible noise. Took it back to the Brisbane shop and once again received excellent service from the guys, again not only checking the brakes but also the gears etc. I happily recommend Reid Cycles but especially the guys at the Brisbane shop for their excellent service.
I was a complete novice when I went looking to buy a bike for my husband and myself. I visited every shop I could find and searched online, but it was Richard and the team at Reid Cycles that made the process so much easier. They gave us so much great advice, fitted us with bikes to suit our needs as well as size and didn’t press sales on us and what has really impressed though us has been the afters sales support. As a novice I have had so many questions since bringing my bike home and they have been more then generous is making sure I always have the best experience with my bike. I have already recommended Reid to any friend who will listen and would gladly keep doing so!
A great bunch of guys who are very helpful without being condescending. They take the time to explain issues, how they occur, and how to fix or prevent them. The front wheel on my bike came loose due to a faulty nut/bearing and they fixed it under warranty within a few days, now I'm back to riding like a dream again. When I was buying the bike, they were patient with me as I tested out the different handle bars and accessories, and I ended up getting a bike that suited my needs. They even helped me out with a handle bar riser, since I'm quite a tall guy, so I'm sitting more comfortably now. I'm happy with the value of their bikes and their service packages.
Very happy with the bike I bought my daughter from Reid. My partner suggested I see these guys as they are a family owned business producing quality bikes at a very competitive bike. $339 including a gorgeous mountain bike in an aqua colour with matching helmet. She loves it and is now for the first time ever at the age of 12, riding. Very happy. Gorgeous looking and functioning bike. Do yourself a favour and avoid cheap Kmart-type imports and over-priced 99 bike type ranges. I know when I enquired at 99 Bikes their starting price for something similar but not as gorgeous looking (they had plain black) started at $500.
I had never heard of Reid Cycles until today. I came upon them in a desperate search for a bicycle for my son. I will definitely be back. The service and professional approach from the South African service guy in Woollongabba was absolutely brilliant. He was not pushy and let me look around and take s few pics and didn't care I asked thousand questions. The range and price are very competitive if not better to the larger bike stores. Based on today's experience I will be back again someday to get my next bike. Cannot recommend more. Well done and thanks.
Not over the moon with our recent experience in the Brisbane store. Took over half an hour before being acknowledged by staff. We brought a kids bike, with helmet and basket. Opted to build it ourselves as we didn’t want to wait weeks and risk it not being ready for Christmas. The bike came with no instructions. No assembly directions online for the kids bikes. Pretty much just had to guess by looking at the product picture online. Not a great experience, but the product once finally put together is quite good. Very nice quality.
I specifically dealt with Ritchie to enquire about E Bikes. Ritchie had really good knowledge and advice which made me confident with my purchase. The fellows prepared the bike for me and had it ready for collection the next day. The cost included 2 free services in the first 12 months. Also I took out the bronze service plan which includes an additional 6 services over 3 years for $60. So far in a week I have done roughly 70 k and I am very happy with this purchase. The E Bike I purchased is the Reid Urban + E5000.
This is a review of Reid Cycles overall. I own a Kade cargo bike and am reasonably happy with it, however Reids' customer service simply sucks, it is probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced from any company if I am honest? Their Sydney store has been closed and their main phone number is never, ever answered. Emails are unanswered. I am supposed to get 2 X free services with my $4k bike. How do I achieve this now the Sydney store is closed, as per the agreement stipulated at purchase?
Bought a bike from this shop from their Black Friday sale to ride home tyres were barely pumped, but thats an easy fix. Their new bikes come with two free bronze services. After the first one was done, the front wheel had its brake pushing against the wheel the whole time and had to return to fix it. Their tech said that the person who did the service didn't put it back correctly and was questioning why the bike had these certain tyres that weren't meant to sold with this model.
Great prices and really friendly staff. Easy parking and a side street to test out on. Adam was transparent from start to finish with helpful advice but with lots of space for questions and for my own preferences. Bought a cute vintage cruiser that looks great and rides like a dream. He adjusted my saddle and attached the basket and got a great price with some thrown in extras. Charlie was hilarious and the music they were playing was fun. Really comfortable purchase experience.
Purchased a small pink bike for my daughter and drove 90min from the sunny coast to pick it up to see a bike covered in rust. They had no issue with handing over a "brand new" bike covered in rust. I spoke with the staff and we found another on the floor. Come to find out that had a massive scratch on it. Finally, they pulled out an uponed box only to find rust on an another brand new bike. Needless to say I got my money back and have purchased a quality bike elsewhere.
Awesome bikes and great service. Went in to buy my 1st bike and did not knew much, the guys working here are really wonderful. Thanks to Tom for letting me try 2 or 3 and fixing me up with a Transit LE disc model. A shout out to Jordy for assembling it and delivering it in a perfect condition. The people here are passionate hard workers with a lot of bike knowledge. I highly recommend this shop, especially for new beginners. Thank U Reid Bikes
I had researched Reid Cycles online and believe they represent great value as well as being Aussie owned. Rob took the time help find the right size and type for both my wife and I. Took a couple out for a test ride and bought two then and there. I'd walked into other stores and were pretty much left to look around but Rob made the effort to offer his help and listen to what we were wanting to do. I suggest you take a look at Reid Cycles!
Bike arrived FINALLY after my order pinged off into cyberspace never to be seen again, a big hole in the rear inner tube, all emails and messages went the way of my order? Customer service were great and helpful when I finally gave up emailing and just rang, chased up my order quickly but yeah not that impressed with a hole in my inner tube when it's brand new! A nice looking bike, the main problem from now will probably be the rider!
What a fantastic experience! Sales team could not have been more helpful during the selection/purchase process. Delivery was a whole day ahead of the promised date, and my purchase (the entry level Rapid) was perfectly prepared and then tweaked for me. I have clocked up 200 km on the bike over 2 weeks and I can not fault performance. I anticipate years of enjoyment. Thank you Reid Cycles, for getting me on the road again!.
When we went in the shop, we were just looking at all our options. Richie jumped in to our rescue while we were trying to figure out the best option for us. He helped us understand the difference between the models and the features. Surprisingly it fit in our budget. The best thing was quick and efficient service by Richie and Jordie which has helped in getting the most reliable cycle to start and stay fit!
I had a Reid bike from years ago, and was keen on getting a new one... Was unsure how I would Manage selecting the right bike from the online store so kept putting it off.. Visited the new store and the team were fantastic. Understood what I needed, considered the budget i was looking at and gave me what suited me best, I purchased the Urban X2.. Besides a great discounted price, I also got a free gift...
Outstanding service and product. Not just from the Gabba store but also their Melbourne office. Took the bike for its first spin. Perfect fit and feels very robust. Hats off to Johannes and Sam for outstanding service. Their was 2 other gentlemen at the Gabba who were outstanding as well but I forget their names (Sorry!!!) Highly recommend and will be taking my wife back to buy another bike.
Do not purchase from Reid cycles online. Incredibly unhelpful - my bike turned up with a popped inner tub and missing parts. They sent me inner tubes to replace and open to paying for servicing and then the whole thing was terrible. By this point my returns policy 30 days was up and I’m left with a faulty bike and a large servicing fee. Save your money. Go in store somewhere else
Did a bit of research and got directed to Reid in Wooloongabba. We were not disappointed. A great range of bikes for a fraction of the price of some of the bigger brands with all the same spec. What was even better was the guidance and help we received from Matt, who took his time to explain various options for our needs. So helpful and so friendly, can’t recommend him enough.
Seven Stars, if I could! I left all the bike stores full of arrogant/disinterested staff on The Gold Coast, and came all the way to this outlet in Brisbane. The best bicycles shop, lovely staff (especially Mr. Richie), most varied range of bicycles, and the most reasonable and economical prices. I am hooked for life, as is my family. My only recommendation is THIS shop.
Best bike store I’ve visited for a very long time and the customer service is better than 5 stars ⭐️ Guys gave me great advice and they’re very knowledgeable. Highly recommend visiting this store . Great range of bikes , purchased an Etrail 2.0 ebike with all the accessories I needed, thank you so much guys Very happy customer ! Store is well worth a visit
Awesome Store! The customer service was very supportive the moment I walked through the store- especially when I didn't really know what I was looking for. They weren't obnoxious, Richard recommended what bikes would be the best for me and allowed me to make a decision without feeling pressured. I recommend this place for anyone who is looking to buy a bike.
Me and a mate came in to check out the store to see if they had what we needed for my mates bike. We couldn’t find anything so we brought the bike in and although they didn’t have what we needed for my mates bike, they were more than happy to tighten his handlebars and give him a free pair of lights for his bike. Great service and really nice staff.
Howzit!! What a store, what a team. Richard and Josh were outstanding in their customer service nothing was ever too much hassle and so friendly as you walk in the doors. Their knowledge and professionalism is just outstanding. You want to know about bikes & which is the best for you, then you need to come see Richard or Josh. Good job guys
Received bike under try with the 30-day returns policy The bike is OK - just average - so decided to return NO Sydney shop for a return despite being on the website (now removed) over 10 calls and 10 emails to organize return....1 reply of we will send Box Nothing now for over 5 days REID PLS CONTACT ME TO RETURN YOUR BIKE AS PER YOUR OFFER.
Richard and the team at Wooloongabba were really helpful. Customer service and assistance post sale has been fantastic. Wife and I both had fitting and items on bike to configure and the team were great to deal with, flexible and knowledgeable. Well done all, your post sales and service went above and beyond to help. We love our bikes too!!
I was on the hunt for the perfect bike for my daughter, and I didn’t have to look any further than Reid Cycles. The staff were so friendly and informative and were able to help me with purchasing the perfect bike. Thank you Reid Cycles, my daughter is very happy with her new bike and we will be back to purchase for the rest of the family.
I wanted an Australian made bike, as it turns out there is no such thing anymore. However my Reid Vintage Bike is an Australian design and assembled in Australia Very happy with service I received from Richie when I bought my bike and from Rob when it was due for its first service. CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND REID CYCLES BRISBANE
Getting back to my love of pushy riding was made a breeze by the team at Reid in Brisbane. So helpful and polite especially since I am NO professional rider. Richie was so lovely and I felt there was nothing I couldn’t ask. He even laughed at my jokes! Top shelf service Reid cycles and I absolutely adore my sweet little ride …
I bought my dream bike here a few weeks ago (Urban X3 hybrid) and I couldn't be happier with the bike, service and price. Staff were very helpful and patient with me, explaining the different styles of bikes, differences in components, sizing etc, ensuring I got what was right for me. I would highly recommend Reid Bikes!
Amazing staff and amazing bikes. We bought two mountain bikes from the Gabba store and the kind person did the setup even when the shop was closed. We went to 99 bikes and also Trek but the quality of the bikes was not as good as the ones here. Highly underrated awesome products. We will definitely be coming back again.
Very pleasantly surprised by the great service from Reid cycles Woolloongabba. They sell budget (but solid quality) bikes and so I wasnt expecting a lot from the experience. But they were super helpful, knew about their stock and set up the bike (Hybrid X-1 commuter) perfectly for me. Thanks a lot! ps Love the bike too.
Absolutely the best customer service over 2 weekends whilst we test rode and selected our new bicycles. Reids are great looking, low cost, and quality bicycles and we just purchased 2 handsome adult bikes to enjoy on weekends. Thanks guys, we’re stoked that you set us up so well with accessories also.
To the guy named Matt. He is a legend, very patient and helpful. And to the guy who is an idles fan ( I didn’t catch his name) You know who you are thanks for helping me select the right bike and explaining the gears man. Great staff and down to earth fellas. I’ll definitely go back there for sure
Excellent store with amazing vibes and customer service Came a couple weeks ago unsure of what road bike to get and the team really helped pinpoint exactly what I needed to suit my needs. Special thanks to Richard and Josh for the great shop they have. Will definitely recommend to friends
Wonderful service and would highly recommend to anyone buying a bike. I ordered online in the morning after speaking to a very helpful gentleman in Wooloongabba and the bike was assembled and ready by the afternoon. Outstanding! I wish all my business transactions were this easy and efficient.
What a fantastic team at Ried Cycles. From the moment I walked in the door Richard and Josh were so helpful. Answering all of my many questions. They pointed me in the right direction on a cycle just right for me. Highly recommended. You can't get customer service better than at Reid Cycles.
Order not ready for pickup even after they emailed me that it was ready for pickup and asked me to leave empty handed. took me an hour to get to their store. Providing false information. Bad customer service. Never going to buy anything from this store. Attach photo if the email as proof.
Don't normally write bad reviews, but I felt so strongly about this. Really disappointed with the customer service. 2 emails sent Monday - no replies, then wrong tyre inflation pressure information given Tuesday. Need to lift your game guys. There is plently of other bike stores.
E-Bike is great. Was able to take a test ride at the shop before purchase. Seems like good quality after a couple of long rides. Last ride was 24km and battery only went down by 1 notch after reasonable use of battery. Will enjoy using this bike, especially going up hills!
Purchased a Granite 1.0 gravel bike. Have used it now for a few months commuting to work and off road along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. Its a great bike for the price. Very happy with purchase. Received great service from the sales rep at the Brisbane store.
Bought a ladies torquoise vintage bike today. Absolutely loove it!! Rides like a dream!! Havent riden a bike for years! Love the basket - the colour! Thankyou Richie at the gabba store!! Outstanding service n knowledge on bikes! Thankyou!! …
Bought a second bike from them in one year. Good value for money. Bought Neon 29er after visiting contemporary outlets, would simply say , they know their job. Surprised, why they don't have many outlets, had to travel a little more to reach them.
Bought a bike online, only to have the rear cog fall apart on my first ride. Brought in to Reid Cycles Brisbane and they fixed it in less than two hours, good as new, no charge under warranty. Super friendly staff & fast service. Would recommend!
Jordie was an absolute legend. Helping me out above and beyond, bloke looks over worked and underpaid so give him a raise for sure. Looks like a good operation and will be sticking with Reid bikes for the foreseeable future for sure. Cheers Guys
Bought the Original Gravel bike in Aug 23. Great experience throughout the inquiries, purchase, assembly, pick-up, then the first service done. If you are a beginner to a bike world, strongly recommending to speak these guys in the Gabba store.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They helped me get my sizing exactly right and did a great job of a accomodating a few running repairs when I first got the bike. Reid's cycles are also good quality and quite affordable. Would recommend.
Once again the boys @reid came through for me, finding me probably the last sphinx f.s ebike. The service is second to none, and friendly Big shout out to Richard, John, and Josh for a the best service ever.. go get on 2 wheels from reid!!
During the Purchase: The staff is humble and really helpful and explained all the components of the bike as I was buying my 1st dropdown bar bike. Bike itself is great and I am enjoying my rides. Thank you for this wonderful experience.
I highly recommend Reid Cycles, excellent staff and great customer service. I had my bicycle serviced before the Brisbane to Gold Coast ride, and Richard took very good care of my bike, ensuring it was ready for my big day :)
Great team, great store. I'm a happy owner of Granite 1.0 with Bronze Service Plan since last August. Everytime I'm back for bike maintenance Richie is super welcoming and professional. Always a pleasure! Keep it up, guys!
Best customer service I have ever had! The team were so friendly and helpful. I bought the ladies vintage classic bike and they had it built and ready to go for me in a day! Will definitely be going back! Thanks guys :)
Excellent Custer Service. Wide range of bikes to choose from with accessories. I bought one bike week ago and the staff help me choose the best bike matching my requirements. Highly Satisfied and Recommend this store.
It was a pleasure buying a bike from this store. I haven't been on a bike since I was a child and jonjon was very helpful. Very knowledgeable and always had a smile on his face. Will be back for all my bike needs!!
Bought a Rapid Flatbar from the guys at Reid in Brisbane. Very knowledgeable, cyclists themselves so they know how things work. Honest and helpful, give them a shot- they're the best bike company in Australia IMO!
New bike pick-up. Waited over 10 days for their 'bike 'mechanics' to build it and set it up. The brakes are buggered and they couldn't even align or tighten the handle bars properly. Just go to 99 bikes or big w.
The team at woolongabba were really helpful. The shop is very tidy and well organised. I’m extremely happy with my new bike and the service I was provided from the welcoming team was very impressive.
Purchased a bike online from Reid but arrived with damage to the rear mudguard. Customer support and the Brisbane store was great, I returned the damaged bike and inspected and received a new one.
I want to know if my bicycle taillight is lost in the shop,I went to the store to buy something on October 8. Please contact me if you find my taillights. Thank you
One of the best bicycle stores in the city. The guy at store was kind and willing to help me order a bike which wasn't available before. I would love to buy here.
Poor experience from the moment I walked in. Salesperson was very abrupt. Bike has had a number of issues with brakes and gears and still not 100%. Disappointing.
Best service from the Gabba store I’ve received from pretty much any store in the last few years. Happy to discuss and provide detailed info. Highly recommend.
Great shop to buy bicycle. You get a wide range of varieties to choose from. There are a lot of offers available as well which should definitely be availed.
I have bought three bikes over the years and could not be happier with them. The bikes are great and the team at Woolloongabba is fantastic. Thank You!
Had a great experience with the guys at Reid bikes ,Helped me with the right advice and a great deal on my bike with a free pump and lock .
Bought two electric bikes. Had brake issues and now flat puncture and was having melt down. Because I don't drive. Unbelievable assistance.
The service quality and the price are both good, they are willing to help me reach out the bicycle model that I want, thank you so much!
Very wrong when you spend 4K on bikes in Sydney and realise that the warranty is void because there are no longer any shops in NSW.
So happy with my new bike and the great service given here assisting me in making the best choice. Highly recommend this business.
Return customer and always great dealing with the Brissy team. Good advice and good banter. Love the Ares. Cheers Chris.
