I was really not satisfied with Europcar Brisbane since sales and customer services delivered poor servcie with non-professional attitude. I was in Brisbane city to contact Europcar shop at Eagal Farm over the phone regarding car hire. The guy called Mike, who quoted AUD300 for 3 days as I spoke out my needs. He asked us to go Europcar Sofitel in city rather than Europcar Eagle Farm since it might be closer to us. Also he called and confirmed to has spare cars at Europ Sofitel. I took my luggage with my family to spend 40mins to get there. The staff called Zane said to me there is no car available at the monment. It was upset and angry. I said to him that Mike had confirmed to be. He turned to tell me there is a Hyundai left with quoted AUD428 for 3 days. Then I called Mike, he was hidden and told me quoted prices will be different in different location. He denied what he said to me including prices and good services in initial. My family were angry since it wasted our time for check-in at Goldcoast. Being Europcar staff, Mike represented Europcar to promise the customer the prices and car stock. Now he hang out the phone and ignored our needs. He presented bad servcie and attitude. We had unpleasant Easter Holidays in Brisbane. I really suggest that all customers consider my bad experience not to choose Europcar Brisbane either cheating price or none professional attitude. At last, I urge Europcar would improve your servcie in order ruin your reputation.

This Company has the most terrible and the most rudest customer service. I have visited this company more then once, I have called this company more then once and everytime have been disappointed. The lady I spoke to is misleading and very rude Today I had called her wanting to swap the Van and she said it was okay and told me I can come in today and I had drove all the way out there just to be told I couldn't... I had called before I came down to make sure I wasn't driving down for no reason. I have had past situations aswell I spoke to the same lady on the phone about collecting my van etc. There was a situation that should be solved by her and my workplace however they hadn't even notified my workplace that there was a fail therefore I had to take it upon myself to do so but while I was still asking her questions she was rude she was saying bye while I was still talking and very much just wanted to hang up the phone. Now what kind of service is that. That afternoon I was notified that everything was sorted I can pick up the van The following day I went to collect the van but returned home with no van. it takes me an hour to drive out there so understand my frustration, when I had arrived that lady was very rude to me. And I again went home with no van until the next day. I have been in situations where I have been treated badly by workers as a customer but this is the first time where I have been treated badly more then once.

Unexpectedly had to get a rental in Brisbane on 27th Dec. After trying heaps of options secured a booking through a 3rd party & headed to Eagle Farm to pickup vehicle. Just before we arrived the booking company cancelled booking stating there were no vehicles available. At this point I was ready to jump back on plane & head home!! Went into the office & explained our predicament to the young man @ the desk. Half hour later he had us leaving in a rental to enjoy our 10 day holiday! One of the most helpful service providers I’ve ever dealt with!! Vehicle was clean & did the job. Young man @ airport was very helpful & courteous. Great experience

I am quite disgraced about the level of service at your Brisbane commercials office , the lady you have on the front counter was extremely “rude” to me , both on arrival to collect and when I returned the vehicle she was the same . She shouldn’t have a job with an attitude like she has and what she represents for your company is poor. I have phoned your head office to make a complaint however you must be busy today. As I can see looking at the reviews I’m not the only who’s had similar issues here . Maybe you should give your staff some up to date training on treating their customers with respect. ☺️

Staff were pleasant, truck was fit for purpose however unfortunately the tail end of the experience - specifically, the additional costs taken (which continue to improperly be taken post transaction end) from our account was (and is) disappointing. The company may benefit from being more transparent/providing sufficient notice to consumers around the likeliness of creeping costs, and absolutely should be providing advice (plus justification) when they intend on charging extra costs weeks after the original transaction. Unfortunately, we will not engage this company again.

Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Not because the staff were rude, but because no one seemed to be able to answer my questions. The worst part is I needed the car for work and was provided to me through insurance. I gave them 2 stars because the car itself was good. It was nearly brand new. But every other part of the experience has been excruciating. All the way up to the outsourced call centre that seem to give you the run around and send you in another direction. If europcar was your first option, I definitely recommend going elsewhere.

I had the bad fortune of someone opening their car door into the rental car door. Left a small dent. Long story short they charged me $950 and that’s minus the $653 i was covered for! Europecar really likes to kick you while you’re down with gouge fees such as Loss Of Use fee = $169, Admin Fee = $100 and they will hire the most expensive mechanics to do unnecessary and expensive repairs. Call them and you will get dismissive rude replies. I would rather walk then rent a car from these people again

As a filmmaker I have hired multiple vehicles with this location over the year and a bit for various productions I've worked on. In particular my very first hire is the reason I have come back time and time again. They assisted when I had a production issue and I won't go into detail but they went above and beyond to sort out my situation. I'm an infrequent hirer from this location but they always provide great service when I do hire. Highly recommend

This is one shady company! I rented a vehicle from them and they held on to my deposit and even after telling them that they had actually taking the deposit as opposed to holding it, they refused to believe me. They also charged me for a full tank of fuel even though I got the car half filled. They took 3 weeks to rectify the issues and one particular staff member was rude as could be. NOT TO BE TRUSTED. CHECK YOUR BANK BALANCE AFTER LEAVING!

Europcar claimed that a screw in the tyre was caused during our hire period- when the vehicle was thoroughly checked before drop off and most likely occurred on site (which was located in an industrial zone and near building works). Our card was charged $447 for this (which we explicitly did not authorise several times during our correspondence). We intend to take this matter to QCAT and ACCC and would not at all recommend this business.

Scheduled to pick up the car at 10.30am however due to flight delay I arrived at 2pm only to find the whole place was closed. Later I discovered that it was closed early due to Boxing Day (a public holiday) however there was no mention of this on the itinerary (still says 7.30am to 5pm) and being a rental company how could they close shop only because it's a public holiday? Do yourself a favour and do not do business with this company.

Bad company. Had an accident with one of their hired vehicles. The driver was exceptionally uncooperative. Rang them to get the drivers proper details. THEY WOULD NOT ASSIST ME. I told them of the damage to their vehicle. My insurer rang them to confirm the damage etc. THEY DENIED ANY DAMAGE OR KNOWING OF ANY ACCIDENT. I have been left with having to pay the excess for an accident that was not my fault.

Needed a truck to move house. This place had what seemed to be the last rental truck available in Brisbane. Very clean inside and out, quick and painless pick up and drop off. Emailed paperwork and followed up with an emailed invoice after drop off saving you having to handle papers.

Great vehicles but billing is horrible. They kept taking much more than they were owed from my bank account wiping it out several times. We need the vehicle full-time for work and currently looking for a different rental company. Do not recommend. ..

Cars are super dirty. The first car they gave me had crumbs all over the seats, chips still in the door cards and sticky residue all over the buttons and gear stick. They were happy to provide another car, but this one was much the same

I was served straight away. The gentleman was friendly and helpful explaining what happens when you hire a car. They have a very large yard filled with cars and trucks. Personally I recommend this business.
