We ordered online a bed, a coffee table and a bookcase on 15 June. Waited for 3 weeks but no delivery scheduled. Upon calling the store, we realised one item just reached a Sydney port while another was still on a ship somewhere in the ocean! We had to cancel the bookcase and coffee table, so as to not delay the delivery of the bed. The staff I spoke to was not rude, and he did try to help. I think Fantastic Furniture should not have allowed customers to order items that they don't have in stock. A wait time of 6 weeks to 2 months simply doesn't make sense. Our bed was finally delivered on 8 July (23 days after order). The two delivery staff were polite and took care not to damage the common areas. We love the new bed, but the stress of dealing with the delays makes this a 3-star experience. For comparison, we ordered a sofa, a rug and three bar stools from IKEA on 3 July, and received everything just two days later on 5 July. Excellent communication from IKEA, and a link to track the status of your delivery (with Fantastic Furniture, you have to keep calling the store to follow up). In summary, we decided we won't buy from FF again because the stress isn't worth the savings of maybe only $100-$200.

Just buy furniture from ikea, they are the best, at least they will buy your ikea used furniture. I tried fantastic and it was awesome when I bought my coffee table and TV unit, and they told me it has warranty for 5 years which is fantastic, 2 years later the coffee table started to crack a tiny crack, I didn’t care about it, after that it started to become bigger and bigger, I sent an email to the customer care team and they told me Unfortunately The coffee table was limited edition. I asked them if I can refund both the coffee table and tv Unit as I don’t want to have different coffee table that doesn’t match with the tv unit, and they said yes I can do that. Later when I contact Fantastic furniture (Auburn) the guy was very rude and he refused to refund the coffee table and assuming that I broke it my self !!!!!!. They are very nice when you buy from them but very rude when you try to use the item warranty (Mr Dinesh is very rude) but never mind, will go to ikea and buy a good coffee table. Just continue losing your customers

Terrible instore experience, this is why people prefer to shop on line. We walked there were 5 staff members behind the registers - all holding it up and having a chat and looking at their mobiles. Be lucky if there were 5 families/couples/customers in the store and no one was being attended to - including us. After circling the whole store and sitting on chairs etc, clear indication we were looking for something, one lady pulls herself away from the mobile and yells out, still from behind the counter to say hello. Too late buddy. By then, even if we wanted something, we lost interest. What's just as disappointing was it looked like the manager was also at the counter and he never once directed his staff to approach customers or even split up around the store so people can ask questions. Came in looking for 12 dining room chairs and 4 student desks, walked out very disapointed. I wouldn't even buy them off their website. Come on guys, earn your pay!

We ordered our furniture at the beginning of September and were told it would be an eight week wait for delivery. We chased it up after twelve weeks and were told that one item would be further delayed until January. Our other items were delivered and we were told there would be an additional delivery fee for the outstanding item. It was only when we argued that the delay was not our fault that we were told we could have free delivery for the outstanding item. We rang again for an update today to be told that there would be a further delay until the end of April. That is 6 months after we ordered it. Had we not phoned for an update on both occasions we would not have been informed and would have been waiting until April for all of our furniture. This is appalling customer service. Had we known about the delays we would not have ordered these items.

I bought the Monash office chair as it's perfect for my short height. The back support, cushion, wheels and most importantly, the posture angle are all excellent! Can't ask for more especially considering the price... it's just that the armrest cannot be removed as it holds the backrest in place. I would prefer a model variation without armrest so I can type freely. My physio also recommended a chair without armrest so I can go closer to the keyboard. But, this is just a minor thing. Overall, great product and ideally suited for kids, students and short people in particular. This is something no other expensive chairs in the market could offer... Delivery pick up is excellent and very friendly staff, excellent communication, extremely impressed with the service offered by Auburn team.

As some of the reviews have already stated, this place has decent furniture for price. Don't expect to be able to bargain to get a better deal - which is fine, the business has to generate some profit. The only thing that will guarantee to rub people the wrong way is the service provided. Some staff members don't appear to care and can only be described as miserable (you'll realise this if you're lucky enough to interact with them). I'm sure most the employees around the other stores are great and people shouldn't blame the miserable ones for the way they are. The reality is, if you were a grown adult and life has peaked for you working at a furniture store, would you not be saddened by this realisation?

Very bad service. I ordered a display cabinet online and we got our delivery. The delivery man supposed to carry the fragile items by two persons the item weight was 30 kg . They were carrying it one each and one of the man bump it on the floor while delivering the item now the item is all damaged and glass on the floor while opening it and worst part is I am a mother of a 8 month old and she never stay in 1 place she likes to crawl and my unit is not so big to move the item.I request the customer service to take the item away as soon as possible to prevent the accident but they don't care at all. I personally recommend not to buy any item from here

I’m Not one to write reviews on here but I’m absolutely disappointed in what was delivered to my place this morning After waiting 6 weeks for a sofa I was sent one with legs that don’t even fit. One of the screws for the leg is now stuck in the sofa . 2 of the legs screws are shorter than the others to be honest for a $608 I would expect better quality but unfortunately that is not what I was given today ... i called as soon as I saw the issue I was told I would be contacted soon never was I had call them because I saw they were closing soon . I can not wait another 6 weeks let alone few days for them to give me a new sofa . It’s just frustrating.

One of the worst customer service I have ever received. I was there to buy a chair which is yet to come in stock(already paid) and was served by Joanne H, I have not come across any rude staff than her. I was back there again today to make an enquiry about a dining set, she didn't even make an effort to help us. Because of her rude customer service I wanted the refund for the chair but she couldn't do it as I used my wife's card when I bought it. I was asked to send and email with bank details instead(doesn't make sense if I can get a refund on my account but not on a different card). This will be the last time I am shopping at this store.

I’ll be forever grateful for the manager at this store that replaces my cube stand for free 8 years ago. 8 years ago I moved out of shared accommodation(OOHC) at 17 years old. I had purchased a starter home set at this store and built everything myself. The cube was incredibly hard to build alone. As a result it broke. I called the store and they replaced it with a brand new one and even delivered it to me for free. Now 8 years on, I still remember this! The service was amazing. I look back on this time in my life and am so grateful that someone actually cared and I felt supported during such a chaotic part of my life!

Never reviewed anything before, but this time I had to! I thought it was only me that faced this disrespectful and racist treatment by Joanne H she also had the audacity to hang up the call while I was still talking but turns out that she did that to a lot of people already. I’ve seen them complaining about her in the reviews section as well. Never going to that store again while this disrespectful person is there, be aware if you ever visited/called the auburn branch you might experience the same thing from her. Tried to contact the manager through email and chat but didn't get a reply from them yet.

Only the name is fantastic but the service is horrendous! The white lady at the reception was having a great chat with coworkers and did not like when approached to enquire about the bedding size. She raised eyebrows at the first place as if I’m asking her a favour and wasn’t happy I interrupted their group chat. Never bothered to look around as the mall has numerous stores with amazing customer service who are ready to help with any questions and treat their customers right. Never returning too Hope the management get to see the review and give some training to that lady about customer service.

I went to Fantasic Furniture this afternoon as I was looking to buy a lounge, bed suite and dining room table. I even knew which lounge I wanted. There was one staff member in the shop and the whole time I was in the store he was on the phone having a personal conversation on speaker! How do I know it was personal... he was talking amongst other things why he had a shower today. I gave up and went to Amart across the road and ended up buying a lounge and bedroom suite. The sales person at Amart wants to thank this guy at FF cause he just made a $4000 sale thanks to his non customer service.

We have bought few stuff from this place before and today we went to purchase a dinning table and a kids loft bed. Before purchasing the bed we wanted our kid to climb and see is she is comfortable and asked a lady staff if our ki could climb and check. They didn’t let her to climb and said she can’t do that. How on earth without trying and experience we could purchase a $1000 worth loft bed?? So we ended up not purchasing and bought the dinning table at another shop due to this experience. Guys think practical and treat customers well or you will be loosing them for others.

I bought a sofa lounge in fantastic on 20/04, I 've been told estimate delivery time 6 to 8 weeks. I gave them call after8 weeks, they told me another 2weeks to wait. I called them after another 2weeks, they said busy time, need 1more week. NOW they said they don't know when would it be delivered, because the lounge had not been shipped in and i need more patient to wait for it. Would I ask them for refund, I really don't want to wait any longer, because my kids were sitting on the floors during 3moths. I m going to buy a lounge without waiting even would pay little more.

Absolutely appalled with the way that they treat customers. I have been waiting for a bed and two bedside tables to arrive and ordered them over 2 months ago. The customer service team have repeatedly cut me off on the phone and I am really disappointed with the way they have treated me. I have been sleeping on a mattress for the past week as I am yet to get my bed frame delivered. They cancelled my delivery without telling me and have provided no communication as to what is going on. Do not recommend Fantastic Furniture Auburn as you will not receive what you pay for.

I have bought furniture from a previous store at East of Sydney and staff were great, we went into this store a week a go during the week and we were the only ones. No greeting, no asking if need a hand with anything, there were 3 people on just at the computer the whole time, when I did go to the register area to ask a question I had to wait for a person walking over/back to talk not the person behind the desk just sitting there who saw me. If staff at this store are like this I am surprised they make money. (This review is specific for this Auburn store)

I had heard a lot about fantastic furniture from friends so i went to near by store in Auburn to buy furniture for my apartment . The customer service was really bad. I talked with one of the members about delivery and stuffs. The girl was giving a Judgy look and kept on turning face around and laughed with her coworker while i was asking her questions . Made me feel awkward and uncomfortable. This is the first time i have felt uncomfortable and kind of bullied in any store. I immediately went out of the store without even buying anything.

Very poor customer service. The help desk lady was very rude and did not know how to have a proper conversation with customers. We had taken one of our bar stool chair as it had some defects and in warranty. She started accusing us as if we had broken the chair and taken it to the place for exchange. We took the same chair to prospect Fantastic Furnitures and had an awesome experience with the customer help desk their. Nour you need to learn to speak with people first. You are in the wrong profession.

Extremely disappointing service! I have been to many fantastic furniture stores and most have been a great experience. However, I was served extremely poorly by Joanne at Auburn. I was provided poor assistance, spoken to in a degrading note and she deomnstrated no motivation to help. I would have spent more money as I needed to set up a new place. Furthermore, she started an argument with another staff member in front of other customers and I. I recommend visiting other stores.

Great range and fabulous prices. I was going to purchase from Freedom Furniture, but I found a lovely 3 seater sofa for $700 (on sale) at Fantastic. Delivery fee and fabric care are much cheaper then other stores. I saved about $800 all up which is massive. Now, I am going to buy everything else I need from there too. The lounge is nice and firm, very comfortable and you can have Ottomans made in the fabric of your choice to match. Highly recommend.

We went here on Saturday with the hopes of purchasing a lounge, only to be told it was a 6-8 week availability period as they are made to order. We were spoken to so rudely and passive aggressively by Joanne H - she rolled her eyes and worked so slowly with us. I’ve never had such terrible customer service before. Fortunately we were able to be served by another employee who was much more helpful and respectful. But oversell, a terrible experience.

Went in today at Fantastic furniture Auburn store to buy 2 bed frames. The staff were having a great time talking to eachothers and on their phones. When I asked for help they were rude and reluctant to offer any assistance. If you don’t like your job in a customer service industry go and find a job that you will be happy with. Very disappointed, I walked out and spend $2500 at Sleeping giant instead as they were amazing to deal with and friendly.

In have purchased a book case from the Auburn store and found that the panels were damaged when i opened the box. Spoke to their store and they have another part in stock but they said it will take 4 weeks to deliver the exchange part. It is your fault and still you guys wants me to wait for another 4 weeks for the replacement part which you already have in stock. Poorest customer service i have ever seen.

Auburn fantastic furniture, never go back again. If you want to buy furniture.better go online ,they have free delivery!!! 13/11!Two chairs 10 kg one of each, i ask for trolly,no! Ask for help , I can leave the shop right now ! If someone buy sofa???Even not ask the other staff! I have to carry 10 kg box run over ground floor twice! They never greeting! This is problem! Their prices are good, which is why I ordered an item from them. It’s been 10 days and I haven’t received a single update on the delivery. Upon calling the store, the staff member was rude and mentioned that I need to follow up with their customer service through the website and she can’t transfer me. They are unable to update me on the delivery status! Better off ordering from IKEA instead.

Not sure why, but they seemed understaffed, i had to wait quite a while despite the few customers in store. Staff are super friendly and helpful, i paid for a few beds and they were happy to alter the order after the sale (hadn't been delivered yet). Quality is good for what you pay. While you aren't going to get mahogany, you aren't going to get chipboard. Most wood seems to be solid pine.

Their customer service is good, delivery service is good. HOWEVER product quality is horrible. Today just morning my bed was delivered and let alone let it pass 1 day , things are coming off from day 1. I DO NOT recommend anyone buying furnitures from them. I always bought my products from Ikea before just thought would change to them for once - it was undoubtedly a horrible decision.

I’m giving 5 star to Mark the delivery guy for our lounge that kid is just really a STAR!!! 2.5 STAR for Auburn’s Store customer service. I’ve been there twice and they just really give you the vibes that I don’t care if you’re buying or not go away 4 star for the product…it’s affordable but I guess that’s why staff there aren’t really helpful at all anyway we got a kickass lounge

This store is definitely understaffed but friendly to see the least. They have limited range and the quality of Freedom has dropped. Freedom is now more of a budget furniture shop rather than a medium budget store like it used to be. If you have to compare with Fantastic Furniture then I think Fantastic would have the same range on the cheaper side.

The furniture here is of okay quality. For entry level users or people on budget this is a good place to buy furniture. Some items like mirrors and inserts are cheap and economical. I was looking for coffee table and found these economical yet beautiful and elegant tables. Would recommend but only for new comers or people on budget.

Like the Title Fantastic. Staff are so friendly and they will explain to you everything and they genuinely want to help you. As long as your nice to them as well. Being nice works magic. It was one of the best service i have received in a very long time. The store is also amazing and inviting. 5 stars well deserved.

Bought heaps of furniture from Fantastic. Affordable prices for younger couples/families/uni roommates. Quality is enough to last you a few years as necessary. The installation is super easy and the warehouse staff assist it loading your heavy items. Great service and fantastic overall experience (had to be done).

I knew going in to the store that my purchase wasn't going to go smooth. fast forward several weeks and my delivery is still not here. Customer care takes over an hour to answer the phone, and when they do they can't help you but rather say 'sorry'. Sorry isn't going to cut it. I will never go to Fantastic again.

They will suggest you the right product, Estimated time and stock availability. sometimes you may find short staffed but wait is worth. Any problem with the purchases, they are readily available to help with the best solution.

Do not buy. Their delivery is pathetic. FF has outsourced the delivery etc to another company and the latter are a bunch of goons. I had ordered 2 beds 10 days ago. The delivery guys keep sending SMS that we are arriving in 2 hrs etc but to no avail. When we called they were literally behaving like bullies.

Bought expensive Sleepedic Mattress firm from Fantastic. Started paining after 10 months, inspite of rotating etc, the problem didn't go. Possibly poor cushioning or springs. Informed them but no resolution, possibly they are looking for a totally worn out mattress in 10month to cover under warranty.

1 star is being generous. If i had known how terrible fantastic furniture was and their staff, I would have opted to eat my food off the floor rather than purchase my dinning table from here. Low prices are not an excuse to treat customers the way I was, given the fact that I had defected goods.

Friendly staff with all types of furniture on display and in stock, your one stop house filling shop. The furniture is of decent quality, just don't overload it or move it around all the time as the glue and staples will come lose. Parking

Very poor delivery. They have a separate delivery vendor. If you reach out to fantastic for delivery issues they will just instruct to contact delivery vendor. The delivery keeps getting delayed and you have to follow up multiple times.
