I've already sent this in an email, but wanted to let others know as well about the customer service that is lacking at this location. I went in to redeem my birthday sub, today, on my birthday, which I received in my app, and the cashier, a young man by the name of Dominic Linsing, refused me. I wasn't able to pull up the code in store but the app allowed me to order for mobile pickup with a purchase, so I told him I would just order it and pick it up and he asked me how long I had my app and told me if it wasn't at least a year, he wouldn’t make my free sub because his manager wouldn't let him. Then, he told me if I did order through the app, he just wouldn't make it. I thought he was joking, so I told him that the app was allowing me to do that, and the app literally gave me a free sub for my birthday, and he proceeded to tell me again that his boss, Michelle, would not allow him to do the order. I'm absolutely appalled. What kind of service is this? And why would the app give me a free sub on my birthday, only to have the worker there refuse me? It doesn't make a bit of sense. It doesn't say a single thing about needing to have the app for a year in order to get the birthday sub. So, they are just making up their own rules then? It's definitely false advertising on part of the brand, and very disappointing, to say the least. I was treated very badly in there today, on my birthday. And instead of enjoying my dinner after work, on my birthday, I'm here having to write this instead. I doubt I'll ever come back to this store after it had left such a sour taste in my mouth. Unbelievably bad business.

This sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I've have had in a long time. The meat was cooked perfectly and the gentleman behind the counter fixed it to perfection. The meal was at a reasonable cost considering what I had purchased. The restaurant is very clean and bathroom was also kept in good order. You can enjoy your order there at the restaurant or do like I do and take it home. One things to mention, they have this card index, where you just pick your sandwiches toppings from, it saves you from having to shout over the display a yes or no to every toppings on display or repeat your choices 20 times to the person that can't remember. 8/7 between 6:19pm and 6:37, I sat and waited for an online pick-up scheduled for 6:20 but upon arrival they had not even started. There were 3 staff; two males and one female. One male was throwing bags of chips over the counter, the other screamed at an elderly man who had asked him a question. The man looked around sort of confused then left. The female, which had asked me my name only moments before sat my food down, did not call a name and just let me wait there for about another 5-10m. Horrible service. There was also a mop bucket propped by the beverage station (unsanitary), and the tea and soda machine were both out of ice. Now I am at home debating if I should take a chance on FireHouse-Food Piosoning.

Drove here from Poway for Tmobile promotion to find a sign on the door that they are not participating. I will not be participating in the support of this business ever again in the future.

I recently went to make an order and they refused to take my order because i requested them to drop it off in my vehicle as im currently under the weather and did not want to risk the employees health by entering the establishment, which is something ive done a numerous amount of times with absolutely no problems or confusion, for people who “support service members and those alike” the service is lacking maybe yall should make it known that curbside pick-up is normal across all firehouse sub locations

Food was good. I did see a help wanted sign on the door as I walked in. I only get a 30 min lunch. Took them 25 minutes to get my sandwich ready. Which then made me late back to work and late clocking out at the end if the day. I can appreciate they are needing help. I'll def give them another chance but will either order online or over the phone WAY before I need it. It was a little pricey for a sandwich combo? But the food was good. Not happy about being late for lunch (I work less than 5 min away from the shop).

The Sandwiches are super small and over priced. On top of it I took one bite out of the meatball, the sauce taste old and bitter. I asked to exchange for another sub, they were willing to do so as long as I paid an additional half of the new sub, on top of what I already paid. Of course I requested my money back. Angelo Soriano was rude. Also all of the tables were dirty. The place was empty. So I do not understand on how they can not keep up with wiping them down , when guest leave.

Very uncomfortable, they use the same rag. To clean the garbage can to clean the tables. When I told the manager, she said it's fine. We'll never eat here very nasty. Super expensive, definitely will never be coming back here. And the sandwiches actually was not that good. The bread was so hard.

If youre a Tmobile customer and are trying to use or redeem your "TMobile Tuesday" Italian sub, they arent accepting the coupon. They have a sign right outside their door. States its due to short staff. Mind you, there wasnt a customer in there when I walked up to the door. #tmobile needs to find companies that are actually willing to work with them for these deals. Cotixan next door is pretty cool inside and has great rolled taquitos for the WIN.

I'd say the atmosphere is pretty no frills, with plenty of clean tables and chairs. What else do you need for eating your lunch? The sandwiches are great, gooey and flavorful.

In a current world where service is just terrible. I consistently get the correct order in a timely fashion from this establishment. Which mind you is delicious. I want to make a shout out to - DAN. I appreciate you so much. You are always professional, cheery and constantly busting your butt off. Thank you for making my day easier by being great and taking pride in what you do. This is one of the most tastiest subs I have had in some time... Even after sitting in my car for about an hour, the brisket was juice as hell, yet the bread was left unchanged. Their Two Alarm chili was also great. However, I am starting to question the order in which I ate it as I am now at the beach stairing at a porta-potty . . . But that isn't Firehouse's fault...

Was eating here for long time and past tuesday got Tmobile Tuesday deal for a sub with purchase and they will not honor it. They even put up a sign that they dont do Tmobile Tuesday so why did they even enroll in this program? Very disappointed because its not even free sandwich, you still have to buy something.

Firehouse Subs is a great combination of fresh (and plentiful amounts) of sub ingredients with not having to be asked about every single "possible" ingredient like subway. Wonderful tastes. It would be 5 stars if they could keep trained staff longer. Seems like someone its always being trained. They also have one of those fantastic multi-drink dispensers.

amazing staff i had an issue with never reciving a code for my bday sub and its a month later mind you i called the store and spoke to a manager she was very sweet and helpful i got my sub and i will return

Sandwich is good but the staff is very rude and not very informative. When placing my order the cashier rolled her eyes at me when I asked for details about the menu. I informed her politely that this was my first time at Firehouse Subs. Probably won't be coming back due to rude un friendly staff.

First time visit. I ordered 3 different subs to go. The cashier was very helpful, the sandwiches were made quickly and the cashier spent some time with me to explain their rewards program, the hot sauce selection, etc. Everyone I ordered for gave thumbs up to the sandwiches. Highly recommend.

Clean, good quality, toasted subs and very helpful staff. I wish they were open until 11pm during the week. (Update) Sorry, it kills me to do this but minus one star. The young lady that works on Saturday day is not very friendly and no very helpful. Too bad. I really like their subs.

Ordered the hero sandwich. It was $13 for a medium sandwich a soda and a bag of chips. The bread was crispy and hot the sandwich hot, fresh, and tasty. However, a bit expensive for what it was. The service was good, although they seemed to be understaffed.

Got myself a club sub per usual and it tasted good as always. The lady working the register that day was super nice and recommended a really good sandwich to my boyfriend. She really seemed to enjoy working there.

This place is great because some of the proceeds go to our local firemen. Their sandwiches are pretty tasty and their cherry limeade is great. I just cut it with a bit of soda water because it is a bit sweet

This was our first trip to Firehouse Subs in Mira Mesa. The place was very clean and the employees were very helpful. We both loved the sandwiches we got and will definitely return.

Wife and I enjoyed our subs. Pricing pretty much same as other sandwich shops. Rolls are nice. Good service. Spacious interior works well for COVID-19. Convenient location.

Never had a bad experience at Firehouse. Unlike that other sandwich shop their bread is actually fresh. Every item on the menu is a winner. Order ahead to beat the wait.
