I was very fortunate to see the work of the beautiful young ladies from “Flowers by the Road Stall” who decorated the Emirates / Collingwood Function at the MCG last night. The presentation of the event (especially the entry to the room) was truly spectacular and the ladies ability to build it from scratch was art. If you are looking for flowers for an event or for your partner, there would be no better choice than supporting this small, local CBD business that is run by a young team that truly appreciates what can be done with fresh, locally purchased flowers. Seems like they have nice flowers, but no one to sell them to you. The lazy florist was nowhere to be found. Maybe I should’ve taken the flowers instead of traipsing over to the Town Hall florist - who was there! [Edit - my beloved thought I was a bit mean in writing this review as she loves this florist. And, I understand, from the response from the owner below, that there was an issue with staffing, so I'll add a star. But there was no sign indicating that someone would be with me shortly, and I did wait for a good while. The idea that this is a struggling business is dubious at best (despite the Covid times) - it's in a prime position and would be kept in business by the nearby politicians getting flowers for their wives/husbands and girl/boyfriends alone. So, two stars it is]

Very pleasantly surprised by this florist I passed by, and a very happy new customer who will definitely be back!! First of all the flowers are locally sourced, which is a great change to the usual massively produced Kenyan roses and other flowers all looking the same. I picked an already made bouquet for $50 full of beautiful colours and flowers reminding me the bouquets my mum would make with the flowers from the garden. I particularly appreciated the sustainability of the materials, between a recycled jar as vase, recycled brown paper as wrapping, and (real proper) Compostable bag to wrap the wet stems for transport. All of it together makes this place align with my values while having amazing flowers at a very reasonable price!!

My new favourite flower shop in Melbourne. I was looking for flowers for my friend's birthday and happened across this shop by chance. The staff kindly took the time out of unloading their van to help me pick out flowers based on what they had in stock, were very knowledgeable in their recommendations and kindly offered to put it together into a bouquet. To top it off their packaging was entirely eco-friendly and compostable. I love that the flowers are fresh and will open with time so they will last much longer. Most places I visited this morning only had flowers in full bloom and almost at the end of their life. If you're looking for a florist who sources locally, is very talented, kind and eco-conscious, look no further.

We had a fantastic experience working with the Road Stall for our wedding. Claire was lovely, professional and super easy to work with. We asked for mostly red natives with a pop of white, and on the day everything looked stunning (but approachable), especially our arbor which was just a visual delight and perfect for photos, it was exactly what we'd hoped for. I could not speak highly enough of the Road Stall and their ability to deliver. So happy we chose them!

I Absolutely loved working with Claire and the team at the Road Stall for our wedding! They were friendly, had great competitive prices and our flowers were fabulous! We got so many compliments on our very different style bouquets and my flower crown. When I get my professional photos ill be sure to share! I use Road Stall for our work flowers. This week alone, I have purchased two flower jars and two bunches/bouquets - They have been perfect every time and I love that Belinda and her team use locally sourced and home grown flowers. I also love the natural feel the bouquets have with the brown paper and rope wrapping. Will definitely continue to buy from The Road Stall!

Thank sweet jesus for this place and it's convenient location because I was rushing to the train to make it to the hospital to visit a dying relative to say goodbye to my Aunt and Belinda was so sweet to me and made the most beautiful bunch of flowers. I kept one of the flowers and pressed one to keep in a frame to remember my Aunt by. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely beautiful flowers! We ordered three seasonal bouquets to decorate our table for our small wedding reception and we were so excited to see what The Road Stall had put together for us! We didn’t really know what we wanted but they were able to navigate my vague instructions and we couldn’t have been happier when we picked the flowers up :)

One of the best flower shop in Melbourne. Love their quality of seasonal flowers. Consistently the best lot of flowers they get. Although their delivery is mainly within CBD the team arranged a delivery for Mentone. Hope you can guys make it easier for the delivery order across Melbourne.

This shop does not sell fresh roses! The roses were put into a vase with water immediately after purchase. However, the petals already had brown edges in the evening. And on the next morning, the rose heads were hanging down! It's not worth to pay so much money for such a poor quality!

I came here because the stall opened until 7pm. The staff member working here was really friendly and made up a beautiful bouquet for me on the spot. The arrangement was tailored to my request and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it!

Selected this place based on high rating. Pre ordered a bouquet of roses (10pcs) for $80 through phone. Service was good but value for money is poor considering paid amount. Unfortunately cannot recommend this place.
