Good Day My name is Tina I went to Rosebank Game yesterday. I had an unpleasant incident. On your Game pamphlet you write “Find it cheaper elsewhere, and we’ll beat that price by 10% on the difference, guaranteed. I came into the store to buy HP 305 ink cartridge. I found a cheaper price on Price check. I informed the sales lady. She was very pleasant and very patient. She went to look for floor manager Klaas, he was not too happy and then proceeded to show store manager Ronald. He was not happy at all. He said it was online and that disregarded my plea. Thereafter I lost connection on my phone to show them where I saw it. I went back to where the cartridges are stored. Another sales lade helped me with data on her own phone and again I showed her what I saw. The lesser price of the cartridge. She went again to look for floor manager who again was not happy to see me and we debated about what I saw and what he understood was on the phone. Then he called store manager again who very distinctly told me that I was incorrect. He would not help me with your store logo about find it cheaper, then proceeded to tell me that Game does not support Price check adverts and that their website is non-existent to Game. Please, I am not offended that I did not get the cartridge. I am offended that again I was let down by the integrity of South Africans around me. I live through load -shedding, Water-shedding, petrol increases and now I have to settle for people who lie about who they work for and have to come to terms with the fact that “Is this the new South Africa” I am a schoolteacher and I needed the cartridge to print worksheets for my learners. I am disappointed because I teach don’t lie, I believe in good morals and behaviour. Yours sincerely Tina

15/09 So, fast forward since posting this review. I have since been to the outlet on many occasions. In July/August, I spoke to the very same lady Manager - told her what I needed & she said she will get back to. I didn't hear from her more than a month. So I went to the store 2 weeks ago on a Wednesday, but was told that she was not in as she was sick. I left my name & number - again for her to call me on her return. Suffice to say, that I have still NOT heard from her - how disappointing!! Almost ready to review my initial review - that was based on her good service - unfortunately, bad service (on several requests), dampens the 1 time of good service!! This is totally unsatisfactory customer relations!! ************************************** My first time visiting this Game Store outlet. Besides, a vagrant coming to ask me for 'something to eat', I must say my overall experience was good. My first encounter with the Lady (I deliberately withhold her name. I didn't know then that she was the Store Manageress), was me looking for Customer Service kiosk & she practically held my held up to it. In-between I mentioned to her about the vagrant & she stated that it is a major concern, they & the centre management battles with (honestly a problem across the City). But that she'd look into it & speak to Security. I went about my business as did she. I almost got dismissed by the Cashier, for not having the correct receipt, she was called & assisted without hesitation / excuses & advised the Cashier how to best resolve the issue. I left there a happy customer & will definitely visit there again. Thank u Mam .

As promised I returned the blender,but how one of the stuff answer left me disappointed to the core.she said:"it's not our problem,the problem is the suppliers from our side",and at that time I was so down because I have been returning for the 3rd time.my take away from this experience is that it's either game is not training it's stuff or the stuff is not taking us serious.i will never recommend someone to Game ,never......poor service from products and stuffs

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. Ordered an electric blanket online from this branch. Delivery happened a few days later at 6am in the morning with no time frame notice given prior. I called the delivery man at 9am asking if he could make another stop if possible, he said he would come back but never did. The next day I called Game and they said they would send it out the following day (Wednesday) I called on Wednesday and they still hadn't dispatched it yet. They said to expect delivery in the next 3 days. It is now Friday. Still haven't received the order, no updates have been given. Called again twice today, Game has not yet dispatched the order for delivery AGAIN. I have been told to expect delivery tomorrow or Monday.

Each time I call customer service they say untangible things - I even called the DPD and was a waste of time and effort. Thato, im still waiting for your feedback, I do not have a relationship with your wearehouse therefore, Fix your processes. This heat is excruciating but I have Fans that I ordered 2 months ago. Absolutely horrible service Game customer service is pathetic. An option would be to sell the items I got? You'll advise *Do not buy from Game Online*

This must be the worst game i have been to. The electronics counter does not have a till so you have to queue and get a slip with the item number, then walk to the tills and queue to pay, then return with the receipt to queue again before you get your goods! Then in my case, the item number was written wrong so I had to wait for the till operator to go all the way back to the counter and get the correct item number, written out. What happened to barcodes? Surely the logical thing would be to have a till there? Long slow queues and surely lunchtime should have all tills open and no staff training at peak times just seems like the logical thing to do.

I only picked 1 start because a had no choice. They deserve no star but a fat zero. Their defy fridge never worked and I reported this months ago and it was bought December. They wont take their Fridge back or refund me and are stalling so it's 6 months. I know your tricks. I have no dealings with DEFY and want you to take your fridge back and refund my money. Your are selling faulty appliances. Till now promises no response.Job 616425. Have been coming to the store and nothing but empty promises.Never buy appliances at game.

Rubbish store they sold me a heater which was second hand and my cousins son nearly burnt as the one bar on the heater burst closer inspection showed marks on the heater which means they put in a return heater back in the shelves don’t ever buy from this game the product was a logik, going to take it up legally make them pay for the damages to my other appliances rubbish Brand logik and game store even worse please check and make sure they selling you new working items when buying don’t trust game stores.

Some very helpful staff ( Irene and Lucia) but most of them are missing in action - aisles aren't marked, prices aren't marked. I checked to see if something was in stock but when I got there it wasn't - there IT department need to improve drastically. And to top it all, extremely loud thumping music from the TV etc department plus the background muzak. Left with a headache. Are teenagers and young people the target market? If not, then why play night club music? It must be hell for the staff too.

Worst service ever ...I bought a single air matress only to find it too small for a single sleeper. Returned it the next day they dont give help me at all only to tell me to find something in the shop for that amount and they dont have anything I want they tell me I used it but where coz I bought it yesterday very late around 5pm and I needed the cash back to go buy another one since I have camping tomorrow so disappointing Coz they dont even have have middle sized air matress

Just bought a heater from you guys and the service was appalling to say the least...your till operator by the name of Mateo(Rihanna looking hairstyle) relaxing as I came through to the till yo pay and leave points me to another till manned by ivy very lovely lady while her(Mateo)relaxed both to my annoyance and that of her colleague as she stated that she was resting at the till very unprofessional guys ...very unprofessional...

Was at the store for +45mins. I wanted to buy a fridge but no one was willing to assist me. I took a picture of the Fridge i wanted & went to the cashier but they had to locate the sales man who ignored me point blank at the Fridge section. Had to wait another +15mins for the sales man & he tells me they have 11 at the warehouse but he is not sure if they still have, he is telling me about selling me the one on display

Such poor service, been waiting more than 2 weeks to get a defective fridge sorted out. Been to the store 5 times. I have to follow up with them the whole time and when I do they ask me the same info I have already given them which either means that they haven't submitted the paperwork to sort it out with the supplier. They just don't bother. I haven't experienced such poor service from a large retailer in my entire life!

This is a very nice Game Store. It is large with 2 floors and you'll find just about anything you are looking for. IT, TV, sound, hardware, electronics, camping, exercise equipment, home appliances like fans and heaters, cutlery and crockery, groceries, and they even have a fresh meat and frozen food section. The only drawback is that parking can sometimes be a challenge over lunch time, especially around month-end.

Iam very disappointed I bought a 9kg gas cylinder, fan heater, & Bluetooth speaker online last week Friday, I was sent the order number and drivers details ,I tracked my order it was delivered on the 28 at a house that I don't know, when I ask the driver he says he doesn't know I must call the store, and the driver came with a heater that I ddnt order it wasn't my order whats going on with the stuff ko game

A pretty well stocked Game, unfortunately we had price discrepancies on three different items when checking out at the till. The cashier appeared pretty nonplussed with the 'hassle' each time I queried the issues. That said the salesman in the downstairs section were really helpful, getting us a trolley and assisting to load the goods. In short good shopping experience, bad paying experience.

Poor costumer services at the entrance is really poor when u go in they don't search your bag or your parcel but when u come out off the shop you show the security your till slipp and they still stand and moan and talk about u in their language as if you don't understand I think S A has the poorest customers servers in the world. These people are at work they are not doing us a favour.

Absolutely shocking service! Stood and waited for help in the TVs section, salesman finally came to help after 10mins of waiting and looking around for someone to help, spoke to me for 30 seconds and disappeared to do something else not to return! I stood in the store for about 20mins with no help and walked out without buying anything due to that... terrible service!

Never buy the genesis hand vacuum cleaner that comes with car plug. I bought it from Game rosebank, then only used it twice the it got damaged. I took it back on the 18/02/2022 and Patrick the Sales consultant from Verimark through Game, assured me that it would be fixed. Ever since the 18th February to today the 17th match my issue its not resolved. Not happy at all.

I really love shopping here and the only reason they score 2 less than 5 is due to an incident where I found myself made uncomfortable by a beggar within their store who approached me while I was making a purchase and ruined my entire experience there, outside of this 1 aspect this is a great place to shop, always professional and friendly service and convenient.

Staff are a bit slow on the uptake trying to find someone to help, but when you find someone then they can't do enough to help you. The store conveniently opens up to Oxford Road right by a Gautrain entrance. The pricing is usually really good at Game stores and they will beat any advertised price so if you do your homework you can get a great deal!

This game is for sure the worst game in south africa. Special shout out to sidney at this game for being the most useless worker in south africa. Where in your life do you spend over 2 hours in a store just to buy a bloody oven!? And how do you get an invoice wrong 3 times in a row? It's sad to know that someone can be that useless

The store in general is not a busy store by nature but it is like any other game you can expect. Buy it lacks on stock especially in the office automation department not enough laptops and printers to choose from very limited stpck it has but it is a game store so you can always beat the price if you see ot cheaper somewhere else

This is my favorite Game. It has the most helpful staff who are all well trained and in every section of the store. It has easy access from the main parking lot in Rosebank. You can go in and out without ever going inside the mall. Queuing never takes too long and in general it's an easy and pleasant shopping experience

Always a pleasure to shop at this group of stores. Staff well trained and very polite. Cashiers are exceptional into comparison to their peers in the industry. As a well situated store I congratulate senior management for their insight. Range of stock huge which means one has to do very little shopping elsewhere.

Unfortunately I can't give 1/2 star. Don't ever order online. My son ordered a 50" TV, it got lost at Dawn Wing (worse courier service, will never use them) now struggle for 3 weeks to get a new tv from them. After nine (9) phone calls still nobody answer the phone. There is no words to describe the bad service.

Don't bother with this store. They are not interested in you or your money. Surly staff ignoring you, even though I was the only customer in the section for home appliances. I eventually convinced someone to sell me an oven. Then I had to fight to get the item that I bought out of their storage area. Avoid.

The staff is generally very helpful, however I found that if you are looking for something specific you have to ask staff members that work in that particular department. For some reason when I went I had a hard time locating someone who could help me. Once I located someone the whole process was seamless.

I would have given this 5 stars but I didn't like the fact that there were no price tags on the items and even on the shelves. The store doesn't have a price scanner for customers so this means that you have to keep asking the stuff to tell you the prices of items which is time consuming.

If you accept that for lower prices there's a reciprocal lowering of service levels, you won't have a heart-attack. Their appliance deliveries are outsourced, and once the sale is made, you're pretty much on your own. Walmart (majority shareholder) needs to up its service game. No pun.

Appliances cannot be taken home on the day. Everything has a 7 day wait in order to be requested from their warehouse. Salesman suggested we go to makro instead
