I would never recommend this place, especially if you are of a different culture. This would have to be the most disgraceful place to bring your deceased loved ones. The treatment from this place is deplorable! Replying to your “how can we improve” & ill address it here, -from the office at Minchinbury when we went to dress the deceased we were told “to hurry it up because the worker’s had to leave’ - then as we were waiting outside your office kept calling my sister to tell us to leave on 3 occasion’s instead of you guys coming out and just asking us to leave (I have no idea why we were told to leave as there were plenty of people there but only we were told to leave. - The package picked and paid for included balloons, pamphlet handed out at the service, casket to be driven to the cemetery etc. The admin on her own accord added an extra $1900 for lining inside the casket and also extra $100 for the pamphlet to be handed out during the service to then when this extra cost was addressed she told us to “ignore it” even tho it was still on the invoice - We were advised by you guys that we could pick any plot for the burial and “leave it to you” then we were told, that it wasn’t the case - On the day of the service your establishment was running late, then you rushed us to finish up because we were reminded at every turn that “your busy” - As people were paying their respects, the legs that was holding the casket wasn’t locked and the casket had to be held up by the husband and sister in law because the coffin was moving off - the cross has the wrong date - The gentleman at the cemetery who works for council was waiting for us to leave (he was going to leave the rocks on the side of the burial site and leave the deceased coffin in the ground with no dirt for 24 hours he told us there was no communication between you guys and them to fill in the grave with sand mix dirt and what ever els they fill it in with, he told us that he was waiting for everyone to leave because what he had at the back of the truck was not appropriate for burial and felt embarrassed as he knew it would of cracked the coffin open. You guys are beyond unprofessional and everybody on the day were very disappointed and disgusted and they have never seen such a disgraceful way in which everything was handled! Your services should be shut down! And I am advising people to go els where, everyone on the day have advised family and friends to find other services. Your services are absolutely disgraceful, your worker’s lack empathy and yes it was because we were cultured, 100% displayed on the day! Your service is more ripping people off, rushing them (because people had to get home from the 1pm) no dirt to bury the deceased and also screwing up dates. I applaud you Gurdian Funeral for being a despicable service.

It is always hard to lay to rest a family member, specially a Mom. We were so lucky that we had chosen to use the services of Guardian Funerals Minchinbury. - My Mom was 96, and she was not wearing her dentures when she passed away. The team at this funeral did a fantastic job to make her look like she had a full set of teeth. - Nikki was our funeral director and she so helpful and so accomodating with our requests. She was so responsive everytime I called. - Sheridan was so caring and was so helpful during the dressing process and at the viewing. Her expertise in putting my deceased mom's make-up made her look very 'alive'. Everyone commented that my mom just looks like she is simply asleep. - Colin and his Team were so commendable during the mass and at the burial. Fantastic and very commendable bunch of folks. I will always recommend them to all my Filipino and Chinese friends who will one day have to say good bye to a loved one.

I have been in contact with Guardian Funerals for the last few months regarding firstly my Mother's illness and then her funeral. I spoke to several ladies over the time, all who were kind and compassionate and answered all my questions. I would have preferred one person in all my dealings but considering the time lapse and staffing, that is understandable. They respected my decisions of seeking other avenues for items they can include and I trusted them with the care of my mother. Communication was reasonably quick and I appreciated the ability to call out of hours and trust that the message would be passed to the correct place. The funeral was held this week and the staff were courteous, reverent and respectful. Thank you for you service.

We have laid our father to rest and approached Guardian funeral minchinbury as a practical approach. Our representative was Nichole Green, a nicer person you won't meet, from the 1st moment we met this woman treated us like a family member. So sympathetic warm polite and a real professional, this great woman took care of every single thing, she constantly checked with us to make sure everything was to our liking, i would highly recommend Nichole for that special touch and caring at such an emotional time. We first went with Guardian Funerals for my pops passing in August this year, and again in October for our nan's passing. Michelle was very compassionate and understanding, and our celebrant Danni was very professional and just lovely. Both services were very professional with the nicest and most respectful touches. Thank you for all involved in both the arrangements and service on the day and for your care, compassion and professionalism.

Our arranger Blessing did a great job carrying out my families wishes for a beautiful farewell for our mother Lyn. Colin, Russell and crew showed the upmost care from the commencement of the service right thru until the final goodbye at the burial. Many people commented on the service. Had the worst experience while organising my sons funeral, the woman we initially had dealings with Delina actually lies to me about dealing she had with other members of my family then hung up on me the other staff stepped in and helped but it was way too late the damage had been done. I would never deal with them again.

I had to call and check to see if the payment was received and I was told it would take a few days to send me a receipt, that was a couple of weeks ago and still nothing. I wasn't even told the ashes were ready and I had to call myself. After I paid the bill I didn't hear back from them. All they want is your money

Will not recommend, not very organised or professional. Very disappointed with the service received. If you want to bury a loved one with Grace and Honour go to someone who is professional and compassionate.
