Absolutely disgusting and unmannerable staff. I went into post office on Tues 29th of January 2019 to simply post a letter by recorded delivery. Was kept in queue. When it was my turn the young man's facial expressions were very unfriendly. Then he turned to the older man and started talk with him. I stood waiting to be served. Then After I was being served I went to pick up my bags. He looked past me rudely and said I have other customers. Not giving me a chance to even pick up my few bags of counter. Then to add to the rudeness the older man who has been extremely rude to me on a previous occasion said we just don't like you!! When I remarked that I am aware you have other customers and I was about to leave no need to be rude. The service has numerous people I spoke to that day telling me they too have had similar treatment. I had to walk in the pouring rain to another post office because I refused to pay for their service. It's extremely unprofessional yet it carries on it needs urgent investigating. A very upset and offended customer who lives local.

Aweful people to deal with. I was literally telling the lady how to do her job as she had made big mistakes with my parcels, if I hadn't pointed them out I would have had some unhappy customers. It's not the first time they have messed up and had to be corrected, the pressure of having no one in the actual post office and getting everyone to come to the shop counter where there are customers simply wanting to buy things clearly shows with quick bursts of anger from staff. today I literally asked for my parcels back as the the lady was raising her voice at me, I told her gently not to do that, but when I saw it was getting too much for her I simply asked her to return my parcels and I will go to my usual post office, she was furious at this and started ripping off the postage labels and throwing my enveloped parcels to me. All in all very bad customer service, they need more staff, I for one will definitely never return, you go to do a simple post office run, ends up in spoiling your day . absolutely terrible

Not even worth one star but couldn't post without adding one! Totally rude and impolite man behind the post office counter. Didn't listen to me when I said what was in a parcel I was sending and repeated something completely different. Then said I was not allowed to take a photo of my parcel with the tracking details, customs and postage paid details on it. I need it for my records in case I need it as proof, just having a receipt is not good enough. It is for peace of mind too. I guess if they are not allowed to take photos in the place then staff selfies are out the question!!!! Total jobsworth but I have had problems with them in the past. Not very professional unfortunately. So took a long walk to the next post office with much nicer staff. Sad they shut down my local one.

Have not being here for 2 years or so, my friend recently called in on my behalf and they are all still the same, apart from Michaël the polish fella, he deserves better colleagues. To be honest I think its time they sold it too nice people and move on. All the locals know what they are like. It also seems their family members are posting fake reviews to bump up there well deserved terrible rating. So i will post an honest update now and then so people can see before going how much they should avoid this place.

The lady is alright. The man is fine. They don't really have manners but they do their job. Their son however or whoever he is, is another story. He always has problems with me. Went to send this letter and he completely took the piss, tried to charge me for it and then his mum didn't. He's such a horrible creepy person. He shouldn't even be allowed to do that. Trying to steal other people's money for no reason. If something is free to send, it's free! Hope he gets punched by someone. Horrible sod.

Consistently rude every single time. It's not just someone having an off day. Literally the worst customer service I've ever had. The lady who works in the post office was shockingly rude and almost confrontational in her tone. Not helpful whatsoever, the only reason I knew where to go collect my parcel is because another customer helped me. Also her phone was just left on the counter ringing the entire time, at least be discreet if you're gonna use your phone at work. Totally unprofessional

The lady is always on the phone ..wow what a customer service …i got a message to collect parcel..queued up and eventually was told nothing there..I was left confused ..I went out checked my email and said it’s been left by royal mail..went back and the son checked again and it was there…do ur job the first time right please …I now drive 2 and half miles when I got any click and collect by royal mail to Chandon gardens post office

Two charming young lads who run the establishment made my day with their polite and kind demeanours, they went above and beyond with their service and having just moved to the area I am so thrilled to have such a good and well equipped business on the corner. Thoroughly recommend for the best honest service you will find in Leeds frankly. Marvellous.

They have made me feel like I'm so stupid and it's not the first time they did that. I simply went to collect my parcel on the app it says it has been delivered to there but the guy says its not there.. who do I believe. Their attitude stinks and the way they talk to people is horrible. I have social anxiety and just by going there I feel worse.

The staff are so friendly and trustworthy, i own my own protein company and I leave my parcels (about 10-15/day) with them as they are busy most of the times, and they always send them on time and I pay them on bank transfer and then they send me a receipt on WhatsApp. Been doing this for the past 2 months and highly recommend you go there.

Today I came to send 3 large letters all 2nd class - the woman started putting 1st class stamps and I again said I want them all 2nd, she started arguing with me.. She was also speaking on the phone. At the end, she charged me for 4 letters not 3!!! So rude and never apologised for her behaviour!!

The Post Office seems to be very busy everyday but the staff are efficient and quick. I did my Passport renewal online aswell as my DBS Check with them. They were very helpful and polite. Will 100% Return for their Future Services.

Terrible bunch. Reviews speak for themselves. Yet they still think that they are in the right. Lady seems very jelous of people collecting parcels ect. Very strange. Most of the sweets have been there for years. Deserves 0 stars.

It's my local shop, the staff are always lovely, owned by a family of really nice people who will cheer you up if they see you're a bit down. They have a good choice of drinks and over the years I have really enjoyed coming in.

I went to the post office today to return my package. Says on the door that the post office is open til 12.30pm. I went in and found that it was closed... Also, the last time I was there, the lady rudely told me to hurry up.

I use this post office almost everyday to send business parcels. Customer service is always top and if any issues with any of my parcels they do everything they can to resolve. Top post office

The mother and father team in this post office are both friendly and helpful. However, the son is a different kettle of fish all together and is often rude, brash and totally unhelpful.

I have my own business and I do cash deposits everyday, I leave my cash there and they count it every evening, I have 100% trust in them, so I don’t see why they have so many complaints

Love the banter with polish guy Called Michael, always giving me crazy deals on alcohol if I buy in bulk. Also they have a amazing selection of vapes and alcohol and always helpful

Came into the store to do my passport renewal, the young kid was very friendly and completed it all within 15 mins. Will definitely go back again in the future

The shop is good but the white male staff on duty on Wednesday afternoon 08/11/2023 was very rude to customers and had a bad attitude.

Don't use the PO anymore as they are rude, unhelpful and I've been overcharged on a number of occasions.
