Extremely rude and no awareness of basic customer service! Walked in, sat down at a table that had no reserve sign on it (as have in the past), were then rudely told that this was not our table in a raised voice so that the entire restaurants focus turned onto us. This is very unfortunate because we have been there a number of times and have enjoyed the food, not always the mannerisms but overlooked it. Tonight’s rudeness however was unacceptable and completely uncalled for. We will never frequent again.

Wonderful food. Fresh and delicious.. wish they'd open a Shop near me in Portarlington. I'd eat and never cook.. lovely staff and most accommodating to various diet requirements to boot, I always visit or takeaway back to Portarlington.

First of all, food quality is quite OK but not the authentic Vietnamese food taste. I ordered chicken Pho for my husband and I got grilled pork vermicelli and spring roll, it was really good in portion *especially meat. However, I am disappointed with their service as I realized that the Pho which I ordered was not served with basil leaves. But the other customers were having it with their Pho. Double standard!

We visited this place today with 5 Mums and 5 kids. We were already seated and while ordering there were two guest who came and left because the kids were noisy. The waitress asked us if we want to order a take away instead so we left. The kids were not even running. They were just seated. The restaurant was quiet, there were other two people eating aside from us. Stay away.

Wednesday late afternoon dropped in for early dinner. Ordered and quickly served very fresh rvermicelli rice paper rolls, combination beef pho (w/bean shoots, fresh chilli and lemon slice) chicken with chilli and lemongrass and 2x ginger beers. Restaurant was spotlessly clean, service polite and quick and meals generous and tasty. Enjoyable meal, belly full and satisfied.

Beautiful food! You can tell there’s a lot of love put into the food the service is friendly and the food came out in just minutes of ordering, I suggest the Vietnamese rare beef pho it’s affordable too will definitely be coming back! (Fried ice cream is crispy outside and creamy inside)

I had tofu and veggies with mushroom. This was a year ago and I remember they gave me three pieces of tofu when I saw someone else order the same and they got heaps of it. One of the most incompetent restaurant I've ever had the misfortune of encountering. Ordered three vermicelli and after an hour only one was delivered! How much more simple can that order be for them to screw it up? The taste of the one that was delivered is below average. Never ordering or eating here ever again.

White man's food ..... sadly I would not go again. Order the scallop , literally only 6 little flat scallops cook with batter in a red sweet sour sauce with plenty of onions , capsicum n pineapple to create a big plate and the taste was unpleasantly sweet . The pho was alright but unlikely I will go back again .

Most terrible experience almost In Melb Vietnamese. Brought out pho minus side serves (no basil ) . No water offered or tea ! Pho was small . Then they took our side serve food away before finished like was a buffet . Noisey and couldn’t here each other talk . Just zero customer service !

We have been enjoying Vietnamese from here for some time now and they consistently deliver quality food for great value. Rice paper rolls, satay skewers, anything that is wok stir fried - always a winner. Thanks for being a regular staple for this family, something for everyone to enjoy.

Overall, the Pho and spring rolls we had were tasty and were of expectation. I only gave it four stars as it seemed a bit overpriced for the quantity given. The beef combination Pho was lacking some particular beef cuts that are usually received at other Vietnamese restaurants.

Just had a veggie with supposedly Chinese broccoli. It was all broccoli and nothing else very salty! The chilli beef, the only thing chilli about it was the pieces of chilli, which hardly had no hotness to them at all, but way too sweet! Overall a disappointing experience!

I ordered a take away serve of Chinese Broccoli which I received a serve of young broccoli loaded with garlic It was uneatable because it was tough and stringy which is nothing like what I ordered. As it was my first time I was very disappointed. Thrown out in disgust.

Popped in during a visit to Altona for lunch, had the combination fried rice noodles and special braised beef and brisket, and Vietnamese coffee. Really delicious food, price was good and the staff were so polite and warm I really enjoyed my meal, thank you!

While this quirky and friendly place is never going to blow anyone's socks off, the food is consistently good, prices are low and the proprietors always friendly. Good enough so we cheerfully return every so often.
