My husband and I spent quite some time on the beauty counter testing a number of different fragrances yesterday, where we were looked after by Antonio who was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. Based on the information my husband gave him he suggested a number of fragrances that we wouldn't have thought to try. We made it clear that we would not be making a purchase on this occasion but this did not affect Antonio's attitude in the least, he remained friendly, keen and attentive throughout. In the event, we returned a few hours later to make a purchase. We managed to be served by Antonio who was just as pleasant as he had been earlier. I should also mention Louise, who was so happy to talk to me and suggest some fragrances for me to try whilst my husband was deep in conversation with Antonio. Thank you to both of you!

Although this is a massive department store we actually went here for one reason only….the cafe on the 4th floor. There is also a bar but given it was morning when we visited it was understandably closed. At the cafe they have a full menu as well as a large selection of drinks including cocktails. We just went for a coffee as we had already eaten. The whole place was great, lovely aesthetics, great attentive staff just a lovely atmosphere. The coffee was excellent a great rest stop and a decent recce for future food stop. We were also made aware of an upcoming wine festival which we are now intending to go to. Lovely experience although we only had coffee I would recommend a visit maybe to try a little more than we did…..if you can get past the great range of products in the store on the 3 floors below the food area!!

I usually quite enjoy shopping in Harvey Nichols. But the past 3 times I have been in I have been followed around the shop. I have bought multiple bags from here previously but will no longer be attending the store. I feel very vulnerable and uncomfortable when staff members follow you around the shop. All 3 times this has occurred it has been by older ladies around 40/50 years old. I haven’t ever done anything wrong, I have made purchases most times I have been in so I am unaware as to why I was being followed the past 3 times. Security didn’t seem to be bothered by anything anyone was doing in the store it was just the store assistants that seemed to be bothered and followed me around. I was wanted to purchase a Jacquemus bag but did not as I wasn’t comfortable with the staff. I will not be returning.

We chose Harvey Nichols for a girls reunion lunch. Sorely disappointed. We went for the set menu, the pork was lovely but the seabass, which the bulk of us chose, was anti-climatic. Dry fish, unseasoned veg and bland quoina with some flavourless green slime. The desserts were satisfactory with the exception of the chocolate ganache waffle. The waffle was like stale bread and the ganache was a claggy sweet paste. When we complained, the only response was 'we'll let the kitchen know, but no one else has complained'. No offer of an alternative dessert or discount on the bill. It was kind of the waitress to keep the desserts on the bill because 'it would be more expensive without the desserts'. Our fault for choosing to eat in a department store.

Normally I have a great experience shopping here but today was a bad one. Bought a very nice bottle of White Wine from the top floor nothing crazy expensive and the cashier who served me (Male, Glasses, looked very out of place) gave a very substandard level of customer service even asked if I wanted a price taking off and looked bemused when I said no as it was for myself, clearly someone like me could only buy gifts and nothing for themselves... I found this funny because the fake designer clad customer before me who spent £360 received a wonderful level of customer service. Maybe the cashier needs to be reminded of the old saying money shouts and wealth whispers and shouldn't base customer service standards on how much people spend.

What a wonderful store. After being greeted by the lovely lady on Creed we made our way through the perfumes and aftershaves. After a couple of samples we decided on a cocktail. The barman recommended a delicious pineapple tequila for myself, it was amazing. He certainly knows his job. Back downstairs to Helen & Chris who know great customer service. There knowledge, smiles and service were 2nd to non. A credit to there employer. We then purchased MFK perfume 724 and an aftershave for my husband, Chris was only too happy to give us a free gift with over £200 worth inside it. Well done guys you are amazing

Beautiful department store, very clean, well presented and amazing products. I did pay a visit to the dior counter to top up on my perfume and the manager of the counter was quite condescending, I have sensitive skin and when I told her what foundation I used she told me I'm more likely to get skin irritation using the brand I've been using for 10 years with no irritations (in her words cheaper brands) than I would dior. How does this lady know my skin after meeting me for 5 minutes while I purchase perfume? She left me feeling quite embarrassed.... like I'd been told off!

How much? Some ludicrous 'designer' items. Look, if you want to pay over £2000 for a denim jacket because someone in the 3rd world sowed a 'Gucci' tag on it then feel free, but this isn't HK fault, they just provide a service I guess. Some decent ranges of drinks, food is more of a token effort though. Haven't eaten at the brasserie but I can image it is half decent at least for what you'll pay. Some pleasant chatty staff, and some others who appear to look down on you.

I highly recommend Harvey Nichols. I wanted some knowledge of drawing the flick from my eye towards my eyebrow. A lovely lady called Lara approached me, she asked if she could help, and I told her what I wanted as I have a model shoot in Manchester next week. After she did it, I was very happy with it and asked if I could leave a tip to show my appreciation, but she said I couldn't. I think maybe tips should be allowed for the beauticians

Most staff are nice and helpful, particularly friendly at food, beauty & woman’s footwear sections. However main floor clothing experienced some pretentious attitude on a few occasions. Did receive good service on Gucci bags. HN needs to be mindful of consistency with good treatment of all it’s customers. I don’t enjoy witnessing others being spoken down to, even if my treatment is better.

Nice amazing store but the guy within the niche perfume section is clueless, passive aggressive and rude. Don’t go to him for any advice he will just tirade you with passive aggressiveness. I don’t know why he works there, his customer service is one of the worst I have known. Never treated like this even if I had been to Harrods which has way more section of Niche perfumes there is.

We did the cocktail masterclass hosted by Brandon and Aidan. They were absolutely fantastic and made the evening so fun! The cocktails were yummy and a bit different to what I would normally choose so it was nice to pick something new. I would have liked everyone in the group to have the opportunity to shake a cocktail as only a few got the chance. Great evening spent as a couple.

During a visit to Leeds today we frequented twice the Harvey Nicola Rabbit Hole cafe and the boy and girl who were serving were the nicest of people and nothing was too much trouble- fantastic customer service. Highly recommended is their carrot cake and lime drink - both were superb. Thanks to all concerned and I highly recommend the cafe. We will visit again when next in Leeds.

Just visited Harvey Nichols in Leeds looking for perfume for my wife’s birthday also to purchase some gift vouchers for a friend’s birthday we called at the Chanel counter and was greeted by Alisha what a credit to your company polite engaging nothing was too much trouble if all staff were as professional as this young lady shopping would be pleasure to behold.

I went to Harvey Nichols Leeds for a Fenty Beauty makeover - in celebration of 5 years of Fenty Beauty - and I received a wonderful makeover by Drew. Drew was really attentive, kind and an amazing makeup artist who make me feel comfortable throughout the process. The end results were amazing and I managed to receive a discount off of a product that I purchased.

The dinner menu was awesome so my family who was on vacation decided to go the next day too, we made reservations on the spot at HN and even picked a table. The problem was when we arrived the next day someone else was already seated at the table, and when we tried explaining that we had a reservation, the waiter said the family had already arrived?

Just visited the Dior counter and was served by Zena - she was absolutely fantastic! Great advice and service and went though all the products and her expertise on the perfumes was so helpful! And then to top it off Ayesha engraved everything beautifully and was so friendly! Great service and honest ppl!

Walked in today and went straight over to the fenty beauty section and was greeted with such a warm smile, was immediately asked if we needed some help…well two colour matches later and some powder bought I am very grateful for my experience. We were served by drew and she was so lovely and helpful. ❤️

Service great and felt very comfortable. Champagne served at creed and skin care sampled. Samples given to try at home before commitment to buy. Easy to get around. From beauty to food and a restaurant. Enjoy going here each time I'm in town. Don't not try there is something for everyone price wise.

Bought a few items from the Dior counter a couple of days ago and the customer service was impeccable! It really did feel like a luxury service and I will certainly be returning in the near future, I also got the same service from Chanel I was so so happy with it! Thank you for the great experience!

Visited the Mac counter today and was served by a lovely young lady. I am older and do keep trying new lip colours, I always find your team extremely helpful even with us older ladies. Terrible experience! Staff working there does not let me breathe! "Mate, you alright?" "You need some help?" "You gonna buy this?" "You gonna try this?" Christ! Leave me alone! Let me at least have a look and set my mind! Wanted to buy a couple of things, ended up leaving at max speed. Never again!

- Staff at the Fenty counter was helpful and friendly in helping me choose the right colour. - The product I wanted wasn’t in stock, I ordered it online to collect in store. I was able to collect the order in 2 days and the collection process was quick and easy (and staff was friendly)

Had gone chrismas shopping. Bought a really large hamper and other bits. Instead of us taking them with us. They aloud us to keep them there till we had finished. And picked up at the end of the day. All gifts was lovely gift wrapped. The young man was very friendly and helpful

Went here and their was a big sale last week. I passed on a Valentino purse on sale however I did buy Burberry Jack sneakers. They had so many nice high end brands and I didn’t have to be in London. Nice location with many stores surrounding this store. Great employees here

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Some of staff clearly needs some education and training around etiquette and customer service. From reading the other reviews clearly there is a problem which needs to be addressed. Wouldn’t return to this particular branch.

Visited the store today, in particular the Dior counter to shade match a foundation. Jas served me and she was so helpful and kind. She recommended the perfect shade, in addition to a concealer and setting powder. Really happy with the service I received! :)

Harvey Nichols has a very good reputation for employing friendly and disarming staff, two young ladies on the Channel counter are good natured and very knowledgeable, I would recommend them for promotion to Management, kind regards Chris White in Leeds

Absolutely fantastic meal, fresh taste food and great service. Couldn't do enough for me and the wife. Even the head chef Lee took time out of the kitchen and came over and made sure everything was ok. Top notch! Will deffo be returning

Poor Harvey Nics. Feels a bit like a pop up store. Not a patch on London or even Manchester but I suppose it’s only Leeds. Staff need to smile and stop thinking they’re something special. I’ll stick to their other stores in future.

Great place for a cocktail as a special treat great service and went the extra mile for a birthday celebration. Try the caramel martini if you like something sweet or the espresso martini for their go to best buy drink!

Terrible service in the cafe!! Literally horrendous. 20 mins to get served, just two lattes. 20 mins to actually receive them. My lord give me strength!! Lol - did get apology from manager, but blamed staffing. Eeek.

Scary prices ..do not enter unless you have won the euro millions...then you would have nothing left after half an hour shopping.. ..some lovely stuff ....along with some vile stuff ....how the other half live …

Called in today just for coffee, had a sausage roll with mango chutney was the best I've ever had. The service was incredible. When we come ro Leeds we always end up here, lovely decor grest relaxed atmosphere .

Called in today and very disappointed not the quality we expected, dirty glasses sat waiting to be washed, rushed service and very understaffed. The nibbles and drink nice but wouldn’t rush back to visit again.

When they first opened, there was a well presented man in a top hat who would be happy to open the heavily sprung doors for you. Now there is a scary security guard who just growls at you as you walk past...
