A month ago I moved to Houston from NYC and I couldn't find a place in the city that I liked, this park makes me remember Central Park for its lakes and the zoo as well as its sidewalks! I would love to see people running or taking photos

I was not so impressed, may be because it's still feels like winter. As a person just came from Colorado and never been to Texas before, I expectation was to be much warmer and green scenery with colorful flower. I guess winter is cold

Beautiful and right by the Houston Zoo. There are paddle boats for renting and reasonable price and biking/jogging path. There is also an outdoor seating theater close by that looks very cool but no shows were running.

It’s a very nice area to bring family. It’s clean and safe during the day. Museums and zoo are nearby. We went several days. Make sure to go here if you’re visiting.

A wonderful, huge and very well planned and organized park ever visited. Having fun and enjoyment for visitors of all age, including the very young once.

Nice place to sit and relax, good option for boating and fishing I don't know if it's allowed and what species can be found here.

Everything about Herman Park Lake Plaza is wonderful. Except for the parking, which is a mess in peak periods.

So much pleasure just walking around, so serene and all green trees that walking underneath so peaceful

The boats are $12 for 30 minutes of peddling fun with a max of 4 people per boat. Totally worth it!
