Unfortunately Whittlesea Council have abrogated their responsibility to maintain the parks in their council area. This means all the parks are now overgrown to above my children's waists.
Playground
The playground is OK as it's surrounded by tan bark, however with the number of waterways near the park and the overgrown vegetation we were vigilant for snakes.
Restrooms
No seats on the toilets (by design), recommend taking liners with you. Toilets are locked at night.

Hilltop Park was ok experience. It could have had more play equipment but for adults you had a great shelter with BBQs all around. The amenities were not too bad could have been a little bit cleaner but otherwise all good experience full stop recommended for families and for anybody who's looking to get the kids out to the park for an hour or so

Nice little park in Doreen which has a nice sized path to walk around as well as toilets, park and some other little things. Beautiful smells of the trees and bushes which are kept tidy as well as nicely kept grass. Nice little spot.

It's a nice park but the local Eshays tend to leave their rubbish and mullet trimmings about after a sesh in the bushes. Kind of annoying since its such a well made place. Needs more bins and better council care.

Great park to take the kids. Toilets, BBQ facilities. Can get a bit busy on the weekends so get there early if you want to get a table. Could be more swings for such a busy, popular park, there are only 2.

Quite a simple neighbourhood park but great for a picnic.

Nice quiet little park, with some great opportunities for some nature play. Bbq was clean. Access to toilets. Basketball hoop and large grass area for kicking a football.

Fantastic BBQ area with 4 free electric BBQs. Loads of room for the kids to play, be it in the playground area or on the field. Half basketball court also available.

Interesting combination of Australian and European garden design. Lots of locals doing crossfit excercises and walking their kids. Zero signs of crackhead activity.

A nice playground with plenty of space to kick a footy, have a BBQ and play on the document. Parking not thought about especially with narrow streets kn 3.sides.

One of the few good parks with toilets, BBQ and playground facilities. Grass area is also nice and big, allowing to have a small soccer, rugby or football game.

Great park with decent enough playground to keep kids entertained. Nice bush surroundings in a peaceful part of Doreen. Good shelter/toilets/bbq area too.

Most literal place ever. A park on a hilltop...both the playground type of Park and Carpark type of park! Nice during the day, get in early to use a BBQ.

Great park with bbq facilities. Has a public toilet which means hanging out with the kids a lot easier! Needs a few more swings for such a popular park.

Great playground, however would help if the toilets where not locked while families are in the area to see the Christmas lights

Probably the best park in Laurimar. Great for kids aged 3-10 years old. Has a BBQ, undercover sitting area and average toilet.

Some pretty good playgrounds in Doreen, but I still rate Hilltop highly. Has covered bbq area which is great for kids parties.

Pretty fun area for kids, usual ammenities such as BBQ and toilet. Watch out for the bull ants in the gardens though.

Great park clean toilets actually had hand soap and toilet paper. Good undercover area with tables and chairs :)

Nice peaceful park with all the facilities that seem a world away from Doreen's Lego style housing. Must go.

Great space to relax with kids, friends and family. Our place to go for most outdoor gatherings.
