Went to this restaurant last night around 2:30 am. Ordered the burger at drive through. I drove up to the window and not more then 30 seconds after, a girl of Asian Appearance maybe Indian brought me the burger. I remembered the last time I went to this restaurant and ordered cheesy chips and I was served by this same girl and when I opened the chips when I got to my place, the chips were cold and tasted really bad, so I had to throw it. And Very politely I told her the same thing. I didn't have any intentions to complain or exaggerate it. I casually told her that it was cold and I had to throw it. So I asked her I hope this time burger is warm and she said, check it, and when I checked it by touching it, it was really cold and I was like wth. So I told her it is cold too and I was not even gonna check it but luckily I checked and it is cold. I asked her to check it too and after I handed the burger to her, she said I think it is fine. At that moment I was like seriously, what sort of person are you, instead of accepting it, you are neglecting straight on someone's face even though You know you are wrong. I told her touch it again and feel its dead cold, She started getting rude. She said its 3 degrees temperature out there and thats why It has got cold, Common man, you just handed me the burger and after checking it I gave it back to u and instead of accepting it, you are trying to make me fool. I don't understand why you are doing this sort of job where your job is to treat customers good and make them happy and thats what we expect when we go to any restaurant or store. But People like you make us feel like, is that why I went and paid at this place, just to spoil our mood and day. Never going to this place again and I hope no other customer has to go through this because it actually spoils your mood and day. P.s. this is for the staff member who served me. I just want to let you know it was on the following night of 22/05/19 when you served me the cold chips. I just checked my transaction to see what date it was because You said maybe it wasn't you who served me but maybe now you can check whether you worked on that night or not.

Food was decent, the people on the other hand were extremely unfriendly. Kept asking “was that all” and just seemed impatient, got to the window and the lady opened the door stuck the eftpos machine in my brothers face, then shut the window. Didn’t repeat the order or tell us how much it cost. Waited a while which was fine, but got our order, with no spoon. Gave us our food and my brother thanked her, then tried to ask for a spoon but she shut the door realising he said something, opened it again and said “what”. Gave him the spoon and was in a rush to close the door in his face. We checked the order at the window with a burger missing. We waiting thinking they would bring it out but nothing, we beeped twice with no answer and when someone looked over my brother waved. A different lady asked what was the matter, we explained as the previous lady came over. Both didn’t understand we were missing the burger. They didn’t apologise or anything, again they just shut the door on him to get the burger. We did get our burger, and everything else we asked for was correct. The food was good, but service was horrid. I work in fast food myself and never in my 3 years have I ever been that rude.

really sad service. we called fifteen minutes before arriving and asked “hey if we come now can we get the new iced coffees?” sandy says “yep if you come before 11 we can make it for you.” so we drove 15 minutes to get these drinks and this girl says “oh no sorry the machines getting cleaned” the time is 10:10 at the time, and when we told her the story she goes it wasnt us. so we asked them if they were accusing us of calling the wrong hungry jacks and she said “Yes.” so mum got angry called them and when they answered we hear the girl say “you do it you do it.” and then mum askes “hello whats your name?” and he goes “My names sandy?” then we told the girl at the window “we are on the phone to sandy?” and she gives a shocked look and my mum says to sandy “You told us that if we come before 11 we can get the ice coffees, is that incorrect?” we wait like 5 seconds of silence and then HE HANGS UP THE PHONE. that is rude and very unprofessional. The two stars are for the lovely manager who came to the window and offered to make us the iced coffees my mum sadly declined the offer which made me throw a temper tantrum but its okay the manager was so nice i let it slide

Don’t waste your time or money. Order 2 burger meals which were the exact same and just order them how they came. Got the burgers which were meant to include bacon, onion and lettuce. No onion, no lettuce and basically no lettuce. When I called and spoke to the manager the manager said he couldn’t do anything and that they tell him to put that much lettuce on the burgers. Couldn’t give me any reason to why it was missing the other items. Did not apologise or offer to replace the meal with the correct order just stated it wasn’t his problem and to contact menu log. Chips were also stone cold and tasted like they’d been sitting there all morning, I suppose that is standard for them though. Absolutely terrible experience and absolutely terrible food. It wouldn’t let me upload a photo but there wasn’t much to look at anyway as half of it was missing. I don’t post too many reviews and believe that some places just had their off days but terrible service and disappointed they did not try and rectify the issue at all or apologise.

I asked twice that my brekky burger be made without bacon on it and it still had it. They didn't repeat my order back to me at any point to confirm (although I didn't think I'd have to since I'd already said it twice to make sure). The service was also terrible. They didn't tell me where I was meant to go properly so I didn't know if I was in the right waiting spot, and it also took way too long to come out when I was the only one there. Ended up wasting my time and my money on something I couldn't even eat.

Very limited veggie breakfast options so I tried to order a BLAT + egg and get the bacon removed. When I went to eat it I found they had still put the bacon in.

After not having a Hungry Jack’s burger for a while due to their false advertising: advertisements on tv showed a nice size piece of pineapple in the burger, so I went and picked one up, the pineapple would have been 2 - 3 mm thin and I couldn’t even taste it. Well called into a different location and asked the lady for the burger they sell with beetroot in it. When I started eating the Hungry Jack’s burger with beetroot I could not taste or see beetroot . I separated the burger and it had one tiny piece of beetroot in the middle, it was about the size of a twenty cent piece and the same thickness as well. No sorry Hungry Jacks you have definitely lost my custom for ever. NOT BETTER BURGERS ANYMORE!!

Customer service during ordering is fantastic...the let down here was the tables aren't being wiped down by staff between customers, the dine in area is actually overall pretty poorly kept, floors look like they haven't had a proper clean in weeks. The food was ok, served reasonably quickly however they aren't overly generous with it...and I'll save you the disappointment with their sundaes...go to McDonald's for soft serve ice creams because HJ's soft serve ice cream looks like it's missing any and all milky/cream content, melts in seconds of serving, and tastes horrible! The chips were perfect though... Overall the burgers WERE better at Hungry Jack's...just not this store...

Gotta day, my second trip here and it was second time lucky. Ordered a wrap and a mango slushie and both were fabulous. Wrap was plentiful and a good size. Slushie was nice and icy cold considering it’s summer: What I like about this Hungry Jacks’s isn’t the indoor and outdoor dining area. It’s light and spacious and exceptionally clean. Always clean. Staff - both times I’ve done the staff to be helpful and when my order was taking a little linger than expected, I was kept on the loop and not left wondering. Big thank you for that. Notes: wheelchair accessible and kid friendly. Good parking around the building. Dietaries catered for if you let them know.

Bruh so I finish work and am just craving one of the new spicy chicken burgers with the bacon and cheese so I'm like I gotta go to hungry jacks. I get there and this speaker lady keep on pressuring me saying "is that it?" right after anything I say, like no that is clearly not it I'm still talking. Then I order everything that my family wanted and I get my food and it's like standard hungry jacks service, like below average but it's fine. I get home, bruh when I tell you it wasn't even the burger I wanted, nearly started crying it was the only reason I went to hungry jacks in the first place and this shii drowned in sauce like bruh :(

Updated April 22 my pork belly burger had zero pork belly so it was basically a cheeseburger with pork belly sauce. Updated March 22, revisited today to get food for the mob. The large order was handled well and we weren't banished to the dreaded waiting bay. Everything was fresh and hot this time so they get a couple more stars. The staff were friendly this time too. Updated had the supposedly giant outlaw big jack.... Well the photo tells the story. This thing might look big in the hands of a toddler but it's about the size of a cheeseburger really with not much more in it. Definitely not what I expected based on the advertising.

Ok so went to hungry jacks today and had an amazing experience with a staff member named Bianca she was very kind and friendly, had amazing service skills, I ordered a bacon deluxe burger she was very patient with me as I wasn’t sure what I wanted, the food came very fast was really good I dropped my straw and she got me a new one straight away and when I was leaving I forgot my drink and she so kindly brought it to me at my table. Shout out to hungry jack Karingal they have great service

the costumer service here is disgusting, a girl at the pay window named annie was so rude, yawning whilst taking our order, swearing at the pay window, rolling her eyes at me, yelling at her other colleagues, absolutely disgusted. you can tell she is a junkie and doesn’t represent hungry jacks in a positive way at all. i then told the other girl at the pickup window, she was young, just as rude and didn’t even care. they all need to learn some basic human respect because this was an embarrassing experience on behalf of their them.

The staff do not know how to count as nuggets are always short. Never have the non sour frozen drinks working and are nearly always a cold meal from there. They are also the slowest restaurant in Victoria to get your food ready as you can sit in the drive through for up to 55 minutes. Pull your socks up.

What is the deal with the regular size chips being served as a large. I was a big fan of Hungry jack's but not anymore. Got a double whopper with cheese meal large. One of the Worst Hungry jacks EVER!!! Ive ordered fries and Large Coke. And someone tampered the coke mixing it water which could easily felt while drinking had a vomit straight away.Ref the pic one shouldnt be able to see the straw clearly dipped inside the coke which can be seen like water. I have called back to make a complain and as soon as i said im gonna make a complain the operator hung up on me and ive tried three four times and no one answers the call. Forwarding this to the head office..

At a quarter to 12 midnight i could see the store was still open after having checked online. When I got there I was refused entry, and told by a very rude young girl that I would not be eating tonight, I was angry as I had walked more than one kilometre to get to this store, so I asked a passing car if they could buy me a meal whitch the happily did. Upon leaving I showed this young girl who refused me entry that I had food. She gave me the rude finger. How does this store train people?

Ordered 2 whopper with cheese meals and chicken pieces. Got home and discovered that the meat was very cold and inedible and there were no fries for the meals. The whoppers also has no cheese on them. Both burgers looked like someone had slammed their fist into them. Called the manager and he insisted the only solution was to return to get a replacement meal. No refund was offered just for me to return to pick up replacement meals. Unacceptable attitude and reply in my opinion.

Staff lovely, great to deal with. Food hot and drinks cold. Drive thru takes a bit longer but everything is fresh.

Improperly trained staff incorrectly placed my order, when I tried to complain to the manager she insisted it was my fault and spoke to me with a nasty attitude. I work at a different hungry jacks store, and know what you are supposed to do in that particular situation, but she insisted that she could not do that and that my friend and I should just get over it. Could not believe the stupidity of the staff and arrogance of the manager, this is a terrible hungry jacks store.

HJs are good because of their app which has the spin and win for cheap or free food and regular cheap meal and burger deals. I believe the advertising which states the burgers are better (well only over there main rival McDonald's). Fresher, frame grilled taste and better mayonnaise.

It's a pretty simple formula so stuffing it up almost takes more effort than getting it right... Burger so carelessly thrown together that only a couple of mouthfuls actually had all the fillings lined up. Foods good, when you get the right order, Staff at windows are abrupt and have no idea of customer service. If you ask a question or want to take somethings off your burger they don't acknowledge , what you have said and just keep talking over you .. And your food is thrown at you , at the window, if you say anything.. Karingal Hungry's could do with sending their staff down to Red Roster, Karingal, to learn some Customer service..

The ooze and drizzle in the burgers is better at Hungry Jacks! I do love the extra ooze and drizzle (good coffee too).

Literally the worst HJs ever. They make u park and wait out front for your food every single time. Even if you only ordered one bloody item. Too worried about their fast recorded drive thru times, than actually satisfying their customers. It's a joke. Ive never gone thru drive thru and actually received my order. U end up waiting out the front for a good 10-15mins. Get your act together Should be called PARK THRU not drive thru

Not sure the staff know communication is part of their job? An order confirmation & price is usually the minimum I expect but not normal here. Handing the bag out the window with no words spoken and a window slammed in your face is the norm. Hope you have your full order because its up to you to work that out for yourself.

Ridiculous service. They've just renovated but it takes 10mins for anyone to take your order. All staff look at you but say nothing. Horrible Experience at HJs Karingal ordered a Junior Whopper with Cheese came with a free black hair inside the burger disgusting! Took the burger back to management to complain and showed them the burger they refused to replace the burger and then gave me a wrong phone number to complain. Never experienced such bad customer service. Stay away from this restaurant!Burgers are better at Maccas!

This is the best place to go if your fat kids are screaming in the back of your VT commodore and you have just won $20 at the pokies, get down there and use the vouchers so your kids can get really fat and you can go back to complaining about other peoples opinions on your local buy and sell community page. Highly recommended, get the grand parents involved on the urine smelling play equipment

They are normally very good but the last couple of occasions the Fry's have been cold... like literally almost un-eatable. But I always have left the drive thru before I have realised and it's too much if a headache to turn back and go and sit on line in drive through again .. and let's face it we eat junk food like this so I'm obviously far too lazy to park and walk in and complain lol

Food was fantastic and glad to see they are following covid safe rules! However they need to enforce covud rules a little better... a customer without a mask ordered after us and they didn't even say anything to him, even with all the "must wear a mask for service" signs posted everywhere and other customers sat down and didn't check in for contact tracing and they didn't enforce it.

Two speakers, very busy cars not moving forward, however drivthru busy I was unable to move forward. Therefore I could not place my order. I was told the person asked twice I was unable to respond. I received abuse from car behind for holding up line. The manager "said what you want me to do". When I got home I then called store and the response !! Wow customer service so bad

Fantastic freshly made burgers. I had the spicy crispy chicken Burger, and it was so juicy and crispy. The best I've had from any Hungry Jacks. Hubby had the whopper and loved how fresh it was. The only downside was it was a 33oC day and there was no air-conditioning making it a little uncomfortable. Otherwise staff are friendly, food is excellent and service is super fast.

Staff are always lovely, even on days where they’re being absolutely slammed with orders and always get orders out as quick as possible :) Food is always consistently good, and whenever I have had a problem (like ordering something that isn’t available at that moment), it’s been solved quickly and very politely :)

Worst customer service! Apparently due to using a voucher im only entitled to half my vegan burger because i got it at a discounted price, the manager Anil refused to fix the order and proceeded to argue with me in a menacing tone. Do not recommend as they do not put their customers first in any aspect. Also refused to give me a refund.

Absolutely Appalling! 24 hours - Door was open, so we walked in to see all clothes and bags from staff all over the counter. Waited 10 minutes or so to be served to only be rudely yelled at to get out!! It was clearly their fault for not locking the door. Completely put us off for ordering from them! Disgraceful customer service!!!!

It's really nice when you eat in, but if you get uber eats, just take into consideration that the driver will be taking multiple orders at the same time and the quality may not be so good

I just stopped at this hungry jacks and ordered a bacon deluxe meal. It was the most disgusting hamburger I have ever eaten. Food was okay, although could have been put together better. The lack of straws given with drinks is appalling. Many people with disabilities (both visible and invisible) require straws to be able to drink their drinks. This ought to be reviewed as some of the clientele could have disabilities that aren’t obvious.

Customer service is awesome but don't see the point going to this store as there's always a machine down. Sorry can't have coffee because our mechanic is down. Sorry you can't have a thick shake because our machine is down (three weeks now and a hot day). Sorry we can't do that either. Always always always.

For starters, all the food we ordered was cold, we waited so long for it and they changed the drink without our consent without asking. In result would NOT recommend going there

It's the little things like going through the drive thru exremely hungover and being greeted by a smile and someone who acts like they are truly happy to be serving you. Typically for Karingal Hungry Jacks. Poor performance and quality of food. In this particular case the heavily advertised "Yumbo" with its 5 slices of warm ham and 2 slices of cheese. Having ordered 2 to discover a total of 3 slices of ham over both burgers (x2 on x1 on the other). Poor Form.

The breakfast I ordered was egg looked precooked, bacon was soggy oily and barely cooked. The sausage patty tiny. Needless to say I got out of drive thru and went into the store and got my money back...and the coffee was terrible

Great for a late night feed and prompt service however they didn't have enough of the rebel patties for our order which is a bit of a bummer if you're eating plant based. Otherwise the experience was good! Otherwise it's your typical standard HJ at least from the drive in perspective.

Staff are always friendly, and the burgers are rarely slapped together like most other fast food takeaways. They actually look pretty similar to the menu pictures which is unheard of. The store could do with a freshen up though. I love that it's 24hrs and the drive-thru moves quickly.

The food was good the rest was only average I would go back if in the area for the food

It's now open 24 hours, never go there if you want a good efficient fast food experience in the early hours of the morning. You are better off going the extra mile and going to McDonalds. No apology for a bad experience with them and fast food became a half hour experience!

Haven't been inside the newly renovated store, however this particular location is extremely popular with drive through customers wanting a quick bite. On a weekend night there will be a queue out into the entrance. Who doesn't love a fast food meal?

Went through drive thru just got a carry cup nugget one, bublegum storm and regular coke, rest of order was correct except it was not a carry cup it was just regular fries.

We just waited for almost 45mins only to recieve not one item we had ordered!! Tried to call the store but after phone the rang out 5 times I conceded & gave up. Website says open 24 hours?! Totally misleading.. Very annoyed & still hungry!! …

Waited 6 minutes for a turkish brekky BLT. Opened it up and threw it directly in the bin. What a waste of money it looks disgusting with raw bacon, brown avocado and sloppy excess mayo. Very disappointed and now at Maccas to get actual breakfast.

dont go here they took my money on the kios and refused to give me my food. They scammed me for my money and i showed them proof of my order and payment. Still refused.

Legitimately the slowest HJs around. 10+ minutes to get a Vegan burger, Asked for my money to be put back on my card as I was in a rush and they mentioned this after I paid. The manager was rude and basically threw my change at me. Fast food?

Sorry but had a bad experience with this team of people who don't understand what they read in the notes that we write in the comments section for online delivery, hope that this doesn't continue as it's really not good for business... More

Not happy with drive thru no acknowledgement from staff inside sat there for a while . People need to speak louder when on the head sets. Very poor service .

Worst hungry jacks on the planet... app took my money and after showing proof was refused food as the order did not appear on their screen I even showed the manager my bank account he was so rude he should not be in customer service

Hadn't been to HJs for a while and was pleasantly surprised. Store was clean and staff were very friendly. Burgers were fresh and the chips were crispy and hot. We also received vouchers in the mail which made the meal good value.

Put one tomato, a pinch of lettuce and a pinch of onion.... 2 pickles. Ripped off!! Never order from this place or any hungry jacks for that matter

Those new chicken burgers are yumm but not even close to KfC'S zingers sorry but it only tasted like a thicker mc chicken from maccas and pretty soggy, maybe you should stick to whoppers coz they better at hungry Jacks.

Well. The burger was as cold as the coke and I swear a rabbit ate all the lettuce because there was only one little leaf. And it wasn't one order that was disappointing there were THREE of us. Wont be going back, sorry.

This store is terrible. They always forget to put a complete order in the bag. Either missing chips or a hamburger. Is it really that hard to do a quick QA before putting it in the bag. Not once but every time.

The best Hungry Jack's I've been to in ages! The staff are friendly and the burgers are excellently prepared. Everything we ordered was hot, fresh, and tasty. Loved the Memphis Whopper and Brekky Burger! More

Haven't dined in but use drive thru often. Have never had any issues with missing items from my orders and food is always hot. Frozen drink machine never seems to break down either. Staff are always very nice

What a useless store . Take 10 min to serve person infront of me . Then try and charge me to change sauce on burger. Also 100% increase in frozen drinks price. Last time i visit this badly run business.

Hungry Jacks is great! Great burgers and healthy lettuce and nice sauces with chips or side of onion rings. Nice coffee selection and carbonated drinks.

Last couple of times I have been here the burgers have been so badly put together I have had to complain only to be given replacement that is just as bad! Very disappointing! Burgers used to be good!

Took over 30 mins to get through the drive thru!!! Not one apology or thanks for waiting. Order was correct but not worth 30 mins of waiting.
