Drive-through experience here is on point! Order was quick, attendant who took my order was friendly and upbeat, and Mitch who greeted me at the collection window was awesome! Explained to me it would just be a minute on fresh fries rather than give me older ones (which I appreciated, no one likes old fries) and in about 30 seconds he personally brought my order to me with a smile and genuine friendliness. He apologised for the wait (which was hardly a wait at all) but was still immensely appreciated rather than other places who give you your order without so much as a ‘thanks for your business.’ The team at HJ Mooroolbark are always friendly and get you your food hot and fresh! I only come to this HJs these days because they’re a cut above the rest. Great work Mitch and everyone at HJs Mooroolbark! Keep it up!

Quick snack for the kids after school ? Well, 6 freshly made BBQ cheeseburgers & $15 later, that's 3 satisfied kids ! Thanks to the tops staff here taking pride in their work. Not a once off either. Although they advertise 24 hour service, this becomes vehicle only late at night. I live next door to the restaurant and came home on the train late at night and went for food, and found the restaurant locked but open. The employee at the drive through window told us that they are unable to serve us on foot - we could get an Uber or Taxi and then drive through the drive through to order food if we wanted though. This seems like a ridiculous policy and quickly lost their business to McDonalds around the corner for those who live nearby and can't/don't want to have to drive for a snack

I am Menulog driver,My job is deliver food on time for the people who would be hungry and will be waiting for me. One hot sunny day got an order in HJ, I thought of buying a coke as I am dehydrated just felt of drinking a small coke, But that rude console operator denied to serve me coke “just because I am driver and my only job is to deliver the food “ and she said i am not supposed to buy and eat anything in there until I deliver there food to our customer. I just Didn’t felt good about it even if there is such rule “that would be the worst and useless rule of all-time”

I just recently went to this drive through, got home less than 5 minutes away and to my families disgust the burgers were cold and saturated with mustard sauce they use,the chips also cold.the burgers were just thrown in the bag and were squashed. The nuggets were just barely warm and tough to eat like they were 10 years old. I tried to ring them but I kept getting a message that the mobile(WHICH IS A LANDLINE) was disconnected. Never go there again absolutely disgusted,I paid nearly 50.00 dollars for food that ended up in the bin.

This morning I went in to get some breakfast and my card wasn’t working for some reason and I had tried multiple times. The manager here was so kind and payed for it without me even knowing he was going to. I will definitely be paying him back, but this has absolutely made my day, especially after having such a stressful week. I’ve been getting the coffee here for a while now and it is definitely one of my favourites. Hopefully in the future, I can do the same for someone else in a time where they need it!

Took my order at drive through window, got to payment window & they didn’t have 3/4 of what I ordered. Took me repeating my order 3 times for very young (she looked 14) lady to get it right. Another 20+ mintires in waiting bay. Still messed up order, so more waiting & having to get out & go inside to get correct order. And then the burgers were terrible, the grilled chicken in particular tasted like the chicken had been kept warm all day. I’ve literally never tasted hungry jacks food from any other store I’ve been too.

Very dissapointing service. The guys got my order wrong 2 times! I already went home and had to come back. On the 2nd time, I even asked the girl at the counter if thats an ultimate double whopper, she replied yes, but again wasnt the right order. The supervisor, Mitch, is not doing a great job at all. Find a replacement. Not going there ever again.

No cheese on the cheeseburgers! Waited 10 minutes for the biscoff because the ice cream machine was struggling all to be served 3/4 cup of melted soft serve. Again another failure. Perhaps you can train someone to answer your phone, this would be a great first step going forward. When a customer requests freshly cooked onion rings, that's exactly what you should provide to them, hot fresh onion rings, not warm onion rings. My joy that a Hungry Jacks closer to home has quickly turned to disappointment after my first five visits.

Food is fine, but poorly designed store. All of the carparks in front of the store are basically used as drive-thru park bays, which still aren't enough. Parking requires you to effectively park behind the property. You can dine in, but it's a very small restaurant, not that many seats (not that I often see people doing so).

Extremely unhappy with the burger I received tonight. Ordered the grilled chicken burger and a large Fanta. The one star accounts for the one thing that was good, the drink. See the photo’s of the inedible chicken I received. I ended up having to take out the chicken because it was more on the burnt side than grilled. I do not recommend going to this Hungry Jack’s. You’re better off going to the McDonald’s up the road.

I just want to say how much of a credit mitch is to the team down at hungry jacks In Mooroolbark, always with a smile, always accommodating in fixing any mistakes to orders, I have also seen him running around attending to make sure all customers needs are met, he’s a massive star down at Mooroolbark hungry jacks!!

Oh wow. Ordered a couple of whopper meals via drive thru and went straight home (2 minute drive). Everything was room temperature. The meat, the salad in the burger, the buns. This included the chips as well. Very disappointing. I Tried calling them to let them know but the phone rings out. We rarely eat hungry jack's but the one time we do it completely confirms why we never come here.

Ordered from the drive through and then proceeded to be in there for 30 minutes with only 2 cars ahead of us. Finally reached the window where the staff offered no apology or excuse for the wait but just stuck the eftpos machine out the window at us. An appalling dinner. The food took a lot longer than we were told. When it arrived the burgers were cold, chips cold and stale, no straws, ice had melted into drinks and ordered a Mocha and received a washed out coffee with a drop of chocolate. Cost us a fortune too as we are in quarantine and were not able to pick it up. Normally the food is great but very disappointed. :(

Chips and onion rings are not fresh. They taste like they are from the day before. And what were they thinking putting that store where it is? You take your life into your own hands every time you try to drive in there and drive out. An absolute ridiculous place to put a restaurant. Right on a roundabout. There’s soon going to be an enormous car accident there. Be very careful.

Very helpful staff. I wanted a burger and they took time to tell me differences between the two burgers I was considering. They didn't upsell but I bought both of them for the simple reason that they treated me like a client who was about to part with his hard earned dollar and needed to get best value for his buck. Great service and so uncongested. Love the place!

Last time I ordered via the app and it took 25 minutes to get my order (double whopper with cheese meal) once I was there, the staff had no idea what was going on. Won't be going back there.

They totally botched my burger. The chips were small & burnt & they Forgot my sauce for my nuggets... the best part of the meal was the sundae... pretty hard to muck that up hey... car park is a joke.. they have a massive nature strip That could be used as a car park... never had a problem at the Bayswater store... rock on

Drive-through was fresh and hot on both recent occasions. However, having bought a "triple" burger on the last occasion and a "single" burger on the previous occasion, I found the single burger appreciably better in every regard. Instead of buying a "double" or "triple", I'd suggest just buying two "singles".

This is always the sneaky stop off at the end of the line for my business visits always clean presentable staff always friendly food is exactly as you would expect, parking is a bit tricky as you come in one side amd get forced out the other. Be aware

The store is very easy to get to and the drive through is large enough for a big car. Happily drive my lowered car without an issue; however the food isn't the best. I've had a couple of burgers with undercooked meat and messy presentation. Now I drive the extra 10 minutes to eat at the Chirnside store.

Chronically cold burgers. I live <500m from the restaurant and have got take out 3 times, every single time have had to microwave the burger less than 5 minutes after purchase. Given the potential health risks of improperly cooked meat from here Id recommend one of the other local takeaways.

Horrible customer service - ordered through the app paid and then they refused to give me the order at that I made - at that store. Was a regular customer sad to say, probably a couple of times a week. Never going back again, not just to that but any Hungry Jacks store. Hold me to it google

Fairly quick service and no mistakes. Can't do five stars though, because they turned off their Uber Eats ordering. When I got there, there were no cars in the carpark, no cars on drive thru and only 3 people seated in-store. So why was the ordering turned off? They weren't exactly busy.

Every time I go drive through with my order I always ask to wait at front never ready on time if I have to wait at front why would I go drive through , even though I order at least 6to 7 min before still I have to wait another 7 min in front so it’s use less service

Used the drive through to order 2 meals and a sundae. Waited 10 minutes in the waiting area as they brought at the meal in several batches then gave us our final lot. When we got home we were missing a sundae, chicken, and had no servettes or straws for the drinks

The food and drinks were fine. The staff were bright and friendly. But the public area of the restaurant was filthy. Tables, chairs and floor. Absolutely appalling.

Have been to this store more than once and everytime the line in the drive through is the same, very long and very slow. It can take upwards of 20 minutes to get served and get your meals. The food is nice, but just takes too long to order and serve.

Cannot explain why, but fast food from Hungry Jacks always seem to taste different/better than it's competitor, McDonalds. Sorry McDonalds but as far as I am concerned this is true. Therefore, the long answer is it was excellent.

Bought a feast bundle tonight. Burgers were all cold. Tomato was not ripe. Chips unsalted. Lemonade tasted like water. Cooks all seen with masks under their chin or under their nose. So disappointing. Will not return in a hurry.

They got my order correct, which is rare for HJs or maccas these days, so that's worth stars. Burger was actually pretty good, clean version of a whopper, chips hot, all ok.
