The owner is a lovely gentleman who deffinatly appreciates quality over quantity. Which in my opinion is how it should be he even let me take a picture of his car which I just thought was the bees knees and a super top bloke thing to do. It's locally owned and operated which I can get behind because it contributes back into the community, the manager shannon is a really lovely gentleman aswel always happy to help no matter what the query. This place has toilets for customers and bottles of water for a donation to Guide Dogs Australia and there is a small supermarket across the road, also I have seen the employees go above and beyond to help out and if by any chance something isnt to your liking they will fix it no questions asked which I find appealing.

West Hobart store service was terrible emailed them no reply went into the shop and talked about a set of wheels for my car and they asked how much I wanted to spend I said around the $2000 mark nothing too fancy the look the guy gave me was saying to me $2000 wasn't enough to interest him in helping me he simply took my details and said he would do some research and ring me this was 6 weeks ago lol this company is a joke. I will deal with Bob Jane from now on I was in and out in a few hours with good quality set of wheels and tyres for $2200 this is called professional service.

Took the car in after a rough collision with a curb to get the wheels realigned, turned out it was actually mechanically damaged, so they didn't charge me for their time after hoisting it up and looking it over, even though they're busy. After getting that repaired by a mechanic I came back to have some new tyres put on and finally get that alignment. Great to deal with, trying to recommend specialist mechanics for my particular issue, explaining what tyres might be appropriate, no upselling; always genuine, helpful, and friendly!

I have sent several emails asking Tyre prices over the years and never once had a reply from you guys , what is the point of having an email service?? I saw someone else’s response and it made things real. I contacted one other hobart Tyre centre at the same time, they got back before 8am Monday morning and I clearly knew who to go with. You guys need to treat all customers right.. I don’t suggest this place

Great customer service. I noticed an issue with my tyres after lunch I called island tyres they knew straight off the bat what they had in stock and had me back up and running by close of business at an affordable price. Very professional with every staff member well presented. If you're looking for an effortless tyre replacement experience I'd definitely give these guys a run again.

Had a flashing engine light and panicked that I wouldn’t get in to have my car checked by a mechanic any time soon…. The guys at Island Tyres squeezed me in next day and fixed the problem with no fuss. Previously I’ve bought tyres from Island Tyres and have always been most impressed with their affable communication skills, friendly, concise and affordable customer service.

They were terrific, tracked down the tyres I wanted (had to wait for them to arrive but that's OK). Other companies said the tyres I wanted weren't available and tried to talk me into other less well suited alternatives. Kept me updated with the delivery and were very professional fitting and balancing the new tyres. I'll definitely be a return customer

These are the guys are polite, competent and best rates in Hobart. I had a small job to do (two tyres to swap on rims) and a front wheel alignment. When doing the alignment they noticed the rear wheels were out, and did that for free. After having some bad experiences at other tyre places in Hobart, i was impressed.

Got two front tyres and a service & wheel alignment & balances for a SUV last week and everything’s going good. Top bunch of blokes, and it was the best Quote I got and I rang five different Tyre & Auto companies for the best quote. Was also done on a Saturday as I work a 9-5 50km away. Thanks guys …

Got quality tyres for my van at a great price compaired to other tyre shops. Staff where very informative and knowledgeable about there products. I normally carry a heavy load. They adjusted the psi once the van was full a week later free of charge. Highly recommended.

There are a few excellent things about Island Tyres - the customer service is awesome, the workmanship is faultless and the pricing is competitive. I have used Island Tyres' services twice and I haven't been disappointed. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

The best service ever, nothing was too much trouble for them - I had a tyre issue that needed to be sorted so I could drive back home to the North West Coast that day and they sorted it for me quickly, professionally and kindly.
