I called several lock smiths for quotes and timing estimates after I locked myself and my kids out of our condo. Jim and Marj were the only actual locksmiths that answered their phone directly instead of an answering service who gave me a run around on pricing. With J & M, I was provided a no hassle quote after texting Jim a picture of my door needing opened. He told me it would be about 30 minutes and I said that was fine, but also let him know I was waiting outside with my kids. They arrived in 20 minutes, and were so kind, friendly and knowledgeable. They ended up making a copy using a picture of the key to get into the garage successfully! Seeing our garage and home front door were keyed differently, they also suggested/offered very affordably to change the core so I had one less key to carry. They were both incredibly attentive and playful with my children. I am so grateful for all of the aforementioned—it took a not ideal situation and oddly turned it into a pleasant memory. I’ve saved their number in my phone and will be calling them for any future planned or unplanned locksmith needs. Fullest recommendation for anyone considering their service. I knew I was going to need a locksmith soon and I needed fast service at the drop of a hat. I happened to see the black J & M Locksmith van cruising around town and took a picture of the van. Why? I saw, " 24 Hour, Auto, Residential, Commercial" on the side of the van. When the time came (which was entirely unpredictable) I called. Jim knew his stuff! Asked all the right questions in order to bring all the right materials to get the job done! I was quoted accurately and fairly based upon the information I provided; It was easy to pull the trigger and I felt comfortable about my decision. They showed up within 30 minutes at 8:00pm on a Tuesday night. They were professional Prompt and experienced Helpful beyond the manual labor, Jim advised me how to protect my home as well as my safety and security by educating me about my situation. I now have a Skelton key ️ TL;DR: I didn't even check Yelp reviews before hiring. you will be happy if you hire J & M Locksmith to help you during an emergency.

You can definitely trust this Locksmith! I was having some issues with a few locks on my house. The keys were sticking and I almost couldn’t get the key out of the lock. I assumed that the best course of action would be to install new locks. I called up J&M Locksmith to set up an install with them, and they recommended that I try to spray some WD-40 in the locks first before I spend a substantial amount of money to get new locks installed with them. Honestly, I didn’t think that would take care of my issue, but I figured it was worth a try. To my surprise the WD-40 completely took care of the issue, and my locks are as smooth as they day I bought the house! Honestly, how many Companies out there would help a Customer out like that? This was the first time I called, so it’s not like they were doing my a favor because I was a good Customer! They just chose to help me out, instead of taking my money! I highly recommend J&M for all your locksmith needs! Ask for Jim, he’ll definitely take care of you!

I locked myself out of my condo last week at night around 7:00 PM. J&M Locksmith was one of a few local locksmith companies available 24/7. I called and they picked up right away. Jim and his wife were very helpful & informative, and gave me suggestions about different types of locks (I had a lot of questions and they were patient with me over the phone). Impressively, they arrived within less than an hour from the time of my initial call, and was able to get me back inside my home! Jim came back a few days later to install an electronic Wifi lock (and was patient with me when I had to drive to Home Depot at the last minute to get a replacement lock). Will definitely use him again (if I have to, but hopefully I won't have to). Bonus: Jim has a good sense of humor to quell a stressful situation.

We had a great experience with Jim! We're moving into a new house, and needed the locks re-keyed; in addition, the previous owner lost the mailbox key, so we needed the mailbox lock picked and replaced. Jim was very responsive (answered my quote request within 10 min), and got the job done within just a couple of hours of the request! The price was very reasonable, and included 5 new keys (and 2 keys for the mailbox). Jim is also really friendly and funny, I can definitely recommend him!

Great Locksmith! Jim was very responsive to my initial email message, followed up with email, text, or phone quickly. He had good availability to change all the locks in my new house. He contacted me the day of to remind me. Payment was easy with cash, credit or check. He was very friendly and hilarious! I will continue to call upon him if I ever need more locksmith services! Honestly, it's over priced. Service: mail box lock replacement. Went to Lowes to check on mail box locks and they're $6-$8. They Charged $85. My mail person had the box open when they arrived so they just replaced the lock. They were at mine for 8 minutes and I asked for a discount because they essentially did something I could have easily done for $8... they gave me $10 back. So $67 for service having them make $8 a minute.

Jim helped me out of a jam twice now. Once when I lost my keys at midnight on a Sunday. He was there in 20 minutes and had my door open in about 30 seconds. The second time when the lock broke on my slider, he was able to be there same day, replaced the lock and got me up and running in no time. He was able to quote on the phone both times and did not deviate from his price. Highly recommended

Outstanding service...I called Jim and described my situation a few hours ago....he though he might not be able to come today but called me back and planned to make my door key repairs tonight..He and his wife were prompt and courteous . very professional and solved my key issue within 35 minutes of arrival.. I love the way this guy runs business. He was recovering from an ear condition and still was incredibly helpful, honest, and polite on the phone. He gave me options that cost way less, gave upfront costs that were reasonable and uninflated, definitely not as profitable on his side. Would do business with him again on any given day.

Jim and his wife arrived on a Saturday night after we were having issues with our 40 year old front door lock. He understood the urgency and was out quickly to assess and replace the faulty lock. Do not Bother requesting service from this site. It is a mobile service and that is not going to help you. The guy sent me to Home Depot & he was not professional. He told he didn’t care that he couldn’t help me. I just came from Home Depot and they couldn’t make my key there that is why I looking for someone else.

Jim has been our go to locksmith for over 12 years. Anytime you need a locksmith, you are usually in a bind. He has always been ready to spring into action for us on short notice, no matter the time or day, no matter the location. Very dependable, reasonably priced, and highly recommended.
