I used the KeyMe key duplicating machine/kiosk located in my local Vons to make a copy of my apartment key. Their machine was able to copy this key, where the machine at Home Depot was not. The duplicate actually works better than my original! The machine is pretty expensive though. ($8+ per key)
I paid, the keys worked. It was fine. I have no issue It was my second time returning, as they didn't work the first time, but it may have been my fault, as I touched the key when the machine was running. They refunded my money easily. I plan on returning next time I need a key.
This was all very shady, expensive, and unsatisfactory. I was locked out Sunday evening and a tech showed up with no business card or anything designating he was affiliated with any company. He couldn't provide pricing until after the work
Terrible service, lock fell off after they supposedly repaired. They were negligent in returning calls to my 86 year old mother Ultimately she had to have another company repair the damage done and she still has not been reimbursed for the
My daughter helps manage my rental. She is in Boston with the only extra key. She was able to enter it in Boston for me to make one in San Diego. The reason I did not give a better rating was because when I called the number on the kiosk
I was locked out of my car, and the technician that KeyMe sent wasn’t able to open the car but they still charged me $50! They also said it would cost $300 to get a specialist who could do it, but it would take several hours. I said no
Seriously saved my life and my whole apartment and apartment complex!!!! I just locked myself out of my apartment without my phone or wallet AND with the stove on while I was taking out the trash. Yikes! Thankfully I had saved my key
Pleased with how well the locked worked. Had to do a little filing so the shards did not gum up my lock. Thought the price for a basic brass key as about two dollars too much. Do plan to register some keys with them for replacements.
This was quick and easy! The kids loved hearing the key get made and seeing the keys pop out of the machine after being finished. It was much more convenient than going to the busy hardware store. Thanks!
You call them and they pick up but do not say anything. Learn to say hello when you answer the phone. They will drop your call too which is ironic considering they don’t say anything.
It was a good expídete ce. Opportunity area: Did not have in stock one of the keys I required, however, i got a cancellation and wasn’t aware if it was only one key or all of them.
It was actually convenient. I would think that for the location though. They should let you know that it is inside of another business. That way, you will be sure not to miss it.
Made three copies of my house key at a Vons kiosk. None of the copies work. Edit: at least they responded quickly to their online support form and gave me a full refund.
Fast shipping! I was skeptical that the keys wouldn’t work but they did! Measurements were accurate! Will definitely use them again for my key needs …
Insanely expensive to get a simple key made. $9!!! Thought there was some error on the machine when I first saw the price. Price gouging at its finest
The experience of “making my own key” was great. Initially, I was skeptical of using a kiosk to make a key, but my new key works superbly.
Had to drive to a second kiosk because the first one was not working. After getting to a working kiosk the process was pretty easy.
Used this to cut a new mailbox key and after charging me almost $10 the key doesn't work for the box. Very disappointed.
Keys were easy to make at the kiosk. They worked perfectly. I would recommend to see anyone who needs a key made.
Kiosk offered buy 2 get the 3rd free. Needed 2 keys so no brainer. 3rd key never was dispensed. Whatever smh.
Quick and easy, didn't look like the key matched but it works so I can't complain! Very convenient.
The keys were very slow to make and the kiosk showed me a lot of ads while I was waiting.
Key me was quick and efficient. You do pay for the convenience of it. Almost $6 for a key,
The damn key doesn’t work!! I just wasted $10 on a key that won’t work!!!
Automatic Keymaking Machine. Fast, easy, quality key copy & It works!!
Works great, super easy… just takes a long time to do multiple keys.
Wish there were cuter designs to choose from
Very convenient way to get keys duplicated
Easy to use and its fast.
My key doesn’t work
