KMART Narrewarren is the best place to shop, but few people just do not care about the reputation of their work place and integrity. On the 8th of Sep 2018. In womens' section for socks there was a tag ""WOMENS SIZE LOW CUT SOCK SIZE 5-8" is for 1.50. there were 6 packs of socks hanging on the same shelf. I picked them up but at counter i was told that they are not on special. We have specific design which is on special. My question to the duty manager "PASSINI" was simple that if you are running out of the particular product then why the tag is still there. Secondly, if there is specific product which is on special then how come it is not describing on the tag. First, she misguided me to win the arguments that it is stated on the tag that only the marked products are on special. So I have a picture for your PASSINI there is nothing stated anything like that. Secondly, she came up with there is a bar code on the tag. Again, people do not read the bar code PASSINI they read the description and on the tag as well as on the product the same thing was written ""WOMENS SIZE LOW CUT SOCK SIZE 5-8" and the product was lying on the same shelf. Whenever, it happens with Woolworths, Big W or even Coles, they match it up instead of arguing. Though PASSINI was not only arguing but also misguiding by stating what was not there at all. Very bad of you PASSINI, you do not deserve to be even the duty manager. You dont care about customers nor the reputation of your work place. You only care about your so called EGO.... I've just had the worst experience at Kmart fountain gate ever. Simply asked the lady at front entry for direction to customer service for some inquiry abt refund return policy since she couldn't just tell me. Not only she couldn't just tell me the info, she started to call her colleagues on the coms and treating me like I'm stealing something. Questioning me of where did I come from and what I brought in with me when I first walked into store. I felt so humiliated and silly after I went over the customer service just for a simple answer of return policy without a receipt is possible and easy which she made such a big deal of. I then went to pay for my items and felt really upset of how I was treated. On the way out I showed her the receipt which she wasn't Even interested in but still busy checking with colleagues on the coms whether I've come to customer service or not. She spoke to them so loud that I could hear the convo. Is this the way you train your staffs to treat a customer nowadays?? Not only that, I came home to an used condition products, no wrapping no seal and dirty inside. Which I assume someone had return this item after being used but still put on the shelf to sell for full price item. So disappointing Kmart. You should do better

I had one shirt I wanted to try on and she was speaking to a customer at the change room so I walked in, had nothing other than the top, she yells and rudely says “EXCUSE ME come here u can’t just walk in like that, I need to count the shirt” and I said “it’s one shirt” and proceed walking then she again angrily says “I need to give you a number first” so I wait there for her to bring it, and I said “all good give me it” so she stood there with her arm out holding the number and said “you come and get it” and looked at me very disrespectfully and very unprofessionally, very very unfriendly and I am not happy about her very bad service. I ended up leaving the shirt and leaving Kmart as I was very disappointed by her treatment. Keep in mind I’m 20 years old and not a child, despite if I was any younger, she should have customer respect, which she clearly lacks and thinks she owns the place.

I went there to exchange few items we brought. The girl who was in the service counter said that they can’t return the full amount of exchanged items as I have used a voucher of $89 when I was purchasing those. But the bill value was $320+ something. It’s not that we bought stuff for $89. We spent more than double times of that. Her excuse was that it’s their returning policy and their service manager who is said to be someone called Jade has advised her to not refund money for the exchanged items which was around $100. What she said is she can only refund me $11 after deducting the amount of the voucher. Voucher was taken beforw when we returned an item which we got as a gift. We got the voucher because we returned that item to the store. Not that kmart has given us a free voucher. Even if they have such policy she should have informed me without starting the exchange process. How can a well known business like kmart have such an unfair policy. Even if they have such one they should have displayed that or communicated at the moment they give the voucher when we exchange something. So disappointed with the staff.

staff is so rude and accusing us of making a mess in the store. I was trying to purchase something near the toy section of the store and I couldnt do it in peace. we were with a group of people and us older girls got accused of making a mess because when we were just peacefully shopping. my younger brother lost his phone in the store so we were trying to look for it moving stuff around. As we went to collect our phone from security he REFUSED to give it back until we told him that we were looking for the phone not making a mess. we asked him where he found the phone and he refused to tell as he gave it back hesitantly. RIDICOULS WILL NOT BE COMING HERE AGAIN. RUDE STAFF RUDE SECUIRTY

I had the most terrible experience today at the fountain gate store. There were no trolleys but they wouldn't let me take the blue plastic cart outside the store. I had a lot of stuff and a fair way to go to get to my car. The staff were absolutely unhelpful and asked me to go to the other side of the store and get one! I am very disappointed at the lack of customer service and extremely poor management of the store. Looks like they don't know how to manage the store when it gets busy. But mind you they diligently check the receipts on your way out and eye the contents in the bags/carts. Shameful service. Will avoid the fountain gate store in future. Up your game Kmart..

Place is mostly great, staff is friendly. Except for one particular lady, we’ve come a few evenings looking for Christmas decorations and just shopping and every time she’s there she hasn’t failed to make it an uncomfortable experience for me and my partner. Normally I wouldn’t say anything but this lady took it too far today, when we walking into the Christmas decoration section she was fussing loudly (as per usual), where she then threw an empty box over her head and hit my girlfriend. No apology just kept sooking and crying childishly about the mess she just made. So unprofessional no regard for the customers at all.

Really disappointed with afternoon visit 1/5/20. Asked a lady if the change room was available and she snapped at me saying I can't use it, that it was closed. Stood there for a moment a bit taken back by the way I was spoken to and then she said it even louder and more stern. I have always had a great experience at this store and here often as I work in the center but look if this lady is so unhappy being at her job I know plenty of people who would happily take it. Please be mindful of the way you speak to customers. Otherwise well stocked, big store and easy to navigate.

Its a 24 hour kmart! What more do you want?! They have all the usual goodies and if you find yourself in a pinch at 2am these guys and gals have got your back! You may not see them much but the staff are friendly when you need them and they keep the stock on the shelves! For cheapy things, miscellaneous goods and toys you really can't beat this place.... plus their Lego prices are always the best deal around the center. For kids this place has it all and i spend way too much time here buying lego to give them any less than a 5 star rating!

I rang up to check on an availability of an item today. Despite of how busy they are, they answered the phone& went over& beyond to go& check for me! Then she found some stock & put it away for me, which I went& pick it up. Also, they all adhere to the prober way of mask wearing according to Covid rules, not like Casey central, which none of their staff were covering their noses& when I asked the girl on the door, why? She shrugged her shoulders ! Didn’t care! Five stars to fountain gate store, keep up the good work.

Good store but not so helpful staff! Open 24hrs but at 5pm they close the side door acess to the food court parking lot! I was literally 2 meters away from that exit, staff was closing roller door I looked at the lady and signalled if I could just exit out because I have a medical condition which I am unable to walk far distances hence why I parked on that side of the car park! Staff worker looked at me said Nope! And continued to close the door. Not happy!!!

Always love coming here but today I was a little disheartened… I walked past the change rooms and noticed a worker talking in a very rude tone to a lady who clearly didn’t speak English all that well. The lady didn’t seem to understand her and the worker continued to raise her voice at her. This behaviour was disgusting to witness. The workers always seem to be really nice but this lady should not be in customer service….

Went I store to buy an item that the website said was in stock, when I got to the store the item was out of stock. I went to the service desk for them to check for me and her response was "the website is not accurate" when I asked her to check on her computer she outright refused, saying "what's the point, you didn't see it on shelf so it must be out of stock" great customer service Kmart.

I love shopping at Kmart, but not this store! It has a terrible layout, quite cluttered and messy and everything I'm after is never in stock..Oh and don't get me started on the lack of air-conditioning...it's always hot and stuffy, and feels like there's not enough oxygen. For a 24hr store, I would expect a bit better, I gladly drive the extra distance and shop at Casey central!

Arrive at the fountain gate store at 11pm and not one trolley available, go to check to see again 15mins later still none, a staff member had a trolley with one item in it and security offer kindly said to her that I need a trolley could they use that one she was a bit rude in saying no I’m using it. We’ll kindly organise trolleys to be in store for customers who want to shop.

I've attended this store twice to collect items they had "In stock" on their website, both times I have left empty handed. Today I attended and asked a staff member to check the stock on the item that I could not locate, she advised me they had heaps "In stock" but that their system was not up to date. Save yourself the drive and pain of attending this smelly shopping centre.

I used to shop here after midnight but since I found out they use facial recognition on every customer that walks in, AND they store your face in their security database without asking for my consent to profile me and my purchases to provide ads and track my movements at every other Kmart I may visit all for the benefit of loss prevention and security? Pfft good one.

Always good only dissappointed that we have to at times work as unpaid checkout staff as they are withdrawing many till staff and making us do their job for free!! When people came to my workplace I didn't hand them a needle and say take your own blood..I'm not trained on checkouts so when I go shopping I wish the staff to do this for me.just my opinion.

Bought a bike for my daughter and paid for assembly. However rear brake was not assembled correctly and tires were deflated, we can't return the bike since we have lost the receipt. When we called the store they said they can't help it and they wouldn't recommend buying a bike from Kmart, seriously!! Massively disappointed …

For all my nocturnal buddies out there, how good are 24hr stores!!?! This one is always lively - no matter the hour, fair staff, usually products are filled, also usually a bit of a line at returns/exchange but the staff members at this section are good about it. ⚠️ Easy access after hours times, through the doors by Reject Shop ✔.

Great for the 1am shopping essentials (button batteries) but was so hard to find the one entrance that granted access to Kmart after hours. Clue it's in a blue section and under shopping centre (not part of any of the multi level car parks. Of course in typical Kmart style, you'll be serving yourself at the checkout.

Best place for a quick shopping visit. Every thing you need under one roof. Much cheaper than most of the competitors. I like the new layout and specially the home center and party section. Can improve the service with more staff on the floor. Overall it is a great shop and will come back again.

Appalled at the fact once at checkout you can forget about using online banking. Went to every other shop at fountain gate was working fine. Finished up at Kmart and had to resort to a credit card to pay for my items because I couldn’t access anything online. So cheers kmart for wasting my time.

The store had to be cleaned before opening, dust accumulated for a long time is seen everywhere, hooks, labels, papers on the floor. The changing room is really a mess. I can't understand if it has been a hot spot during this Covid - 19 What kind of cleaning and disinfection do they do?

Kmart has become quite surprising as the cheap source of stuff for the home and the people in it. Its geared to high volume low prices individual items. The store is fairly well laid out and inviting to browse. Before you know it your basket is full of stuff you didn't know you needed.

Massive Kmart with pretty much everything in stock, or as close as possible. The problem is that many things are difficult to find and might not be stacked in the right places due to lack of space. For example, I couldn't find the rice cookers with the other appliances...or anywhere.

Some employees doesn't know about the items that are on sale. Which makes it hard to locate items when you're new to this store. I haven't seen active sanitizing within the store. It would be good to have active sanitizing because this is a place where people touch lots of things.

Kmart is the best place. You can get everything under one roof. Always something is on sale / clearance, yesterday I bought lunch boxes for only 20 cent each. Good place for sports people as well and they have some of gym equipments which are really good and works well.

Door greeter was super friendly, kind and helpful. They used their tool to help me get a trolley. Did not have much selection of bike shorts. In fact none in my size. Good selection of plates/dining etc.

Items were same as other kmarts. Many items like Iron etc were sold out. The staff told later that some times get sold out as soon as they become available. Good to see 24hr thing!
