I used to enjoy the Myer Dept Store experience, the staff always ready to help, & there was always something great to find & buy, wonerful food & scents. Well, no wonder people have & continue to move online. After driving to the store to both buy & exchange some items that were gifts for my sons, & battling for 20 mins to find a parking spot that wasn't a kilometre away, I then got on the tail of a line at a counter with 2 registers, but only one in use. The line was 5 persons long & the 1st person being served took ages, as the diligent attendant folded & packed everything neatly. But after waiting for about 8 mins with no movement in queue, (and plenty of other staff walking past but not assisting), one of the others in queue suggested that the attendant should request assistance & open the other register. Eventually this happened. When I finally got to the counter, I explained I needed to exchange or get credit for 2 items & I could then go & shop for some items I wanted & others I needed. Immediately I was informed of no credit refund without receipt, & I diligently handed over the gift receipt I had. The items were exactly the same, fully Myer tagged & obviously still new, never used. The attendant said the receipt was only good for one item & there had to be another for the second item. Well, we didn't get another gift receipt, so I only had that one. She said that she could give credit for one but not the other. I asked could she please do something as I had travelled expressly for this trip, had all the parking & queue hassles, the items were both new & had Myer tags & now, on a policy technicality, they wouldn't even exchange or credit the second item, which was identical to the first. She said no. I asked for the Manager, who eventually came & gave me the spiel about their policy. Wonderful! What happened to the Myer that I knew & loved, where nothing was a bother & the store respected its customers? Well, given I mean so little to them, I told them that I had come in to purchase some significant items, but on account of their policies, MY policy is to only deal with stores providing a better customer experience, so I would take my business elsewhere. I don't know when or even if they will see me again. Disgusted with the experience.

Appalling service from the Dune concession DO NOT SHOP THERE . There is no setup for a proper customer service to support a client in case of any issues with products purchased from the concession brands. I bought a pair of heels and I have worn the shoes once around the house for a few hours to break them in and the leather on the left shoe split open. It is clearly not a mechanical fault inflicted by me. This should not have happened after the one use. I have gone to a Dune in Myer in Chadstone to log in the complaint and ask for a refund. I have been told that this will be looked into but that the manager on duty said they ‘did not see any major fault’. So not that there wasn’t a fault - but that the fault was not major enough for them to consider it grounds for a refund. Which I find bizarre as it doesn’t matter how big a fault is - there is a fault which makes the shoes not to be in ideal shape. The managers actually spend more time insinuating that I must have worn the shoes elsewhere than just around the house given the state of the sole. They do seem worn - I have some stone and marble areas in the house - but I would say that if anything this is a reflection on the quality of the shoe and in any case it should not really matter where was the shoe worn. (even though the heels are clearly in pristine condition an so these could not have been worn outside). I went in to report the fault a day after I bought those and so they are clearly faulty but I have been questioned, undermined, distrusted and dismissed. I have then been told that I will receive a call from the state manager which never came so they clearly do not care.

At Myer Chadstone at around 1:30pm-1:45pm on Sat 9th Sep in the skincare section. I shop at Clinique and The Ordinary in this particular Myer for all my skincare and have been the past 2 years or so. One of the employees, a middle aged Asian woman, followed me around for the entire duration of my shopping experience, and then proceeded to accuse me of stealing, because I left the Clinique booth and walked 10 steps down to the Ordinary booth. She interrupted my customer experience and accused me of stealing mid conversation - I was in the middle of getting advice from the Ordinary representative. I am appalled by this, I have always shopped for my skincare and paid up all together at the end. I was singled out, because she did not follow anybody else around and accuse them of stealing. It seems this experience is pretty common - as another reviewer stated, “don’t judge people’s financial capacity based on how they dress or look. Every customer pays equally for what they purchase hence, every customer must also be treated equally and not based on your judgmental perception.” Upstairs in the other departments, we are not required to pay for everything separately across departments, so I don’t understand. For example, I could pick up something in the cooking section and then pay up together in the tech department rather than making 2 separate transactions. I have always been a loyal customer of Myer, however this experience has soured my view of the store. Consider taking your business elsewhere, Myer is not the only department store that stocks these brands.

Saw a nice shirt on sale online & thought I’d just pick it up in store since it said it was in stock. I couldn’t find, it so I asked a staff member who said it wasn’t her area so go ask at the desk. The person at the desk said she’d never heard of the brand & that it’s probably out of stock. I showed her that it says it’s in stock & she says that maybe it’s new & they don’t have it yet. I had another wonder & found it. I tried to pay but the first 3 registers were unattended. Finally found some staff at the 4th one. The staff member that served me was chaotic & had clearly just come back from having a dart. When I got home I realised they didn’t remove the security tag. I’m not one to usually criticise staff but, unhelpful & incompetent are two words that come to mind. The only positive part of the experience was the person to took the tag off for me when I returned later in the day. She was very friendly & apologetic that someone hadn’t taken the tag off.

Myer scam My wife wanted return an item she bought online at Myer Chadstone. The sales girl told us to go to the hub to return it so my wife could buy the item she chose in store. When we returned it at the hub we were told there that we would receive an e mail acknowledging the returned item and that we could use the same e mail to buy the new item that we chose in store . When we went downstairs the same sales girl that sent us upstairs said that we had to wait a day or so for the refund and that we cannot use the e mail to buy the new item. This is a scam by Myers knowing that we will use our money to buy the item we want and that subsequently we would have to use the refund vouchers to get another item. The staff intentionally misguided us to scam us. Be aware of the Myers Chadstone staff.

I bought a mascara and a primer and an eyeliner which cost me $200 and during the purchase the consultant had a really hard time finishing the items I was looking for and took long to come back and pack them. I now realise they have given me their used items for the mascara and the eyeliner as the boxes are unsealed and no way of knowing it was empty until I tried to use my newly purchased make up at home and o have to scrape it the eyeliner is completely dried up. Shame as I spend all my money on Lancôme make up and perfumes and all my family and friends gifts are from Lancôme so I have told my family and friends no more Lancôme due to the deceptive conduct of your staff trying to make a sale out of empty make up bottles.

Anthea and her colleagues at the Review store provided amazing customer service! They went above and beyond to help me find last minute bridesmaids dresses. I picked up my dress, however at the time they didn't have the sizes for the other two. Without asking for it, Anthea called me the next day as she remembered I was after some other sizes, and informed me that the other two sizes had just arrived. We're very grateful that she remembered and took the initiative to call me, and our last minute scramble for bridesmaid dresses was solved! Thank you so much Anthea, our bride would be so over the moon

Love shopping at this place , the fashion capital. The biggest shopping center where you can shop until you drop. There have most high end brands to medium range. Lots of restaurants and food courts where there are many type of food to choose from either dine in or take away. Always crowded mainly of weekends where parking is difficult. Try going on weekdays instead. Can spend the whole day shopping, eating and watching a movie. A very great place to spend a day with family.

Whilst it is conveniently located and holds high value goods available, it is often difficult to find items that are available online, in store. Most brands do not display all their available products, and you oftentimes have to seek out multiple staff before they can find your sought product in storage, or in an alternate location from the brand's store. Additionally, the layout can be disorientating as signs are not very clear, and floors often mix a variety of products.

The Blonde Girl at Giorgio Armani, Emily I think her name was, was so Professional, kind, Nice and her Service was impeccable. The Girl LAUREN there was SO RUDE, looked at me like I couldn't afford to shop there and brushed me off. How you have a Job in Customer Service is beyond me. I have told EVERYONE if you go to Giorgio Armani at Myers NOT to see Lauren. I will be letting Head Office k ow too. How dare you be so rude and look down on a Customer, especially a NEW ONE!

Always great shopping, great customer service and now even more great brands. I love a special Myer Christmas shopping night. There were so many great deals, Myer team members were under the pump however kept smiling and being helpful. It was a great night for shopping, the DJ added to the fun atmosphere and there were drinks and food on offer. Thanks Myer for another great Christmas shopping night - I can't wait for Black Friday!

DAVITH, the sales person is amazing at Myer Lancôme store. Yesterday there was that Lancôme promotion going on and he literally convinced me and my friend bought $410 worth Lancôme products within 2 minutes. His marketing skills were so impressive. He even offered us hot beverages and free key tags. Myer I’m telling you he made the whole shopping experience to next level, this guy truly deserves a promotion.

Myer Chadstone has a wide range of choices ranging from kids, women, men to kitchen, appliances and whatnot. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially who are working on level 1 and 2. On the ground floor, I would prefer to not be starred at when just having a look and testing around with the colognes ;) Apart from that, we have experienced good time and sometimes really good deals.

Chadstone fashion capital, is such an amazing experience, when you don’t visit very often! However, when visiting myer we had a very lovely friendly man named Adam greet us in the fragrance section and had amazing knowledge on all the Creed and the niche brand Xerjoff, which was very helpful and gave honest and great recommendations! Definitely worth visiting if you have never been before

I don’t going to Chadston shopping centre, to many people and I find it hard to navigate, which I’m sure is deliberate (That’s my conclusion anyways)but this trip to Myers’s was cool. Went in on a Thursday night with my 9yr old daughter around 5:30pm, it was quiet, staff were great, super helpful and nice. Parking was close and easy. In and out and picked up a few 50% off bargains too.

Still one of my favorite place to shop. There are plenty is options to choose from. Each level are tailored accordingly. One level for the girls, another for the men. Top level for kitchen ware, electronics and toys. Because tomorrow is father's day, the cosmetic assistance feel a bit awkward not able to offer me anything of interest. There is a cafe busy serving customers.

Went to the ladies shoe section today 8/8/23. Appalling service. Stood at the counter queue waiting for the pair to try on for thirty minutes. There was a floor person who spend the entire time arranging shoes and would not make eye contact. When asked if any service was told 'there are two people for service ' yet no one was in sight. Went to DJ. Served instantly.

While shopping inside Myer, after sometime I was feeling a bit of thirsty. Decided to visit the newly opened bar "The Lodge bar". Place is cosy and not that crowded. Staff is friendly and welcome. Had my first Apple's cider and enjoyed my trip there. It's always great to have a short rest in the bar while shopping there . Recommended! …

The women’s shoe department rate 5 star for Lu and her service. The other two sales ladies were so busy rearranging shoes and chatting about their children they completely ignored my mum when she was looking around. A shame retail service has gotten so bad.

Tried to buy a heater. No prices on any heaters. I was told to take them to the register to check prices. I carried 4 heaters to the register and waited 15 minutes. No staff turned up. Then had to carry the heaters to the clothes section to buy them.
