The owner of this restaurant needs to “ get his head out of the sand” get back to serving customers that are in the restaurant and stop paying all the attention to Uber Eats & Menulog. You want the community to support local business and come out and dine in your restaurant but don’t offer the service of food in a respectable time frame. Tonight we dined in your restaurant waited for 2plus hours for our meal, then only 1 meal came to our table so you expect the 1 person to eat while the other watches. Our food only came out because of our complaining many times to the poor staff about how long it is taking. And all this wasn’t just us all the tables were complaining, a table of 17 walked out couldn’t wait any longer. You really need to have a hard look at what is important your customers in your restaurant or the takeaway / Uber eats / Menulog ect cause if thats the way continue your going to have an empty restaurant. Your staff are amazing and friendly and put up with all the complaints and angry customers all while your probably at home enjoying your night ! I feel for them & being a mother I wouldn’t allow my son to even think about going for a job in your restaurant cause if this is the way you look after your customers I could only imagine how you treat your staff! Have you forgotten how to run a restaurant & delivery service to actual customers during covid ?

We, as a family, like La Porchetta restaurants. Unfortunately, tonight was money going into waste for us. It wasn't because of the food. Rather couple of waitresses who could not stop talking amongst themselves and do not bring our drinks to the table. We received the drinks alright. After our food was finished. I literally had to pick them up from them while they were chatting away. I took over the managers role, and told both of them to stop socialising but to serve us. Mind you there were only four tables occupied with clients. Practically empty place compared to the ratio of the empty tables. I am going to give that venue a poor review in Google unfortunately. Just a heads up with employing teenagers and managing them. As a result, they thought that they could just shut me up with giving us free drinks. I told them at the time as well that it is not about getting away from the full fee. It is the expectations. I would recommend the director to have chat with the manager. Chef was great and the place was excellent considering location. I will go back and review once again. My rating may change...

Today i went into this establishment for lunch. I ordered Lasagna, Salad & Chips. Received my lasagna within 5min of sitting down. It came out TOO QUICK to be fresh. I started to eat it & couldn't cut through as bottom layers of the pasta were stale & hard. Very disappointing, as this is a 'pasta restaurant'. Ate half the top & took the chips & salad to go home. When paying $39.60 for my lunch, i had told the waitress about the toughness of the pasta, and Caleb at front desk. He confirmed to me that the Lasagnas/pastas aren't cooked fresh on a daily basis. I won't be coming back here as staff & management do not care about customer complaints.Not even a slight reduction in my total price. ‍♀️ I certainly won't be recommending this restaurant to family or friends. Very silly to not care about customer disatisfaction, after all this time food establisments being closed to Covid. Too many other places to eat at this shopping centre. If i could give ZERO stars, I would.

Hi there, it is fatima al karoor and me and my family (9 children and husband) came here today enjoy a nice family dinner around this country of pasta. The workers here were very ignorant and we saw very old men sitting at the bar and staring at my daughters. 3 of my 7 daughters began to cry and they felt clinically harrassed. We felt as if the roof was going to fall and break onto the floor and crush us into pide, the person who was serving us seemed very intimidating, he was not wearing anything that said la porchetta, and it really scared the halalness out of me. My husband had trouble breathing after seeing the prices but that doesnt matter because a happy wife is a happy life right sisters? We generally used to visit this restaurant earlier quite frequently to eat special Mexican Parma and Coffee which were good and after the Covid the quality degraded honestly and today I had an extremely bad experience with their special Spanish Paella with Chorizo and Eggplant chips which we ordered. Firstly, it was not Paella as it was very wet and the taste was nowhere close to Paella so the restaurant should not promote things as special when they are not expert at this and can mention it as a rice dish with seafood. There was no chorizo as well which I reported while paying. The Eggplant chips also did not taste fresh. The person in the billing counter was kind enough to waive off the surcharge for a public holiday and thanks to her. I don’t recommend this place unless these issues are solved

Hi every one I would like to tell you about the service we got from this place it would have to be the most unfriendly place to go to eat we ordered 2 pizzas and drinks the girl that served us were so flat in their manner shocking not friendly at all but the best part to come thay also made our pizzas I hope thay had food handling certificates because thay also didn’t have gloves on well making the pizzas when we got the pizzas it looked like it had been run over by a steam roller thay were that flat disgusting please people Do not wast your money like we did at this place

Why they call themselves "Italian Restaurant" is beyond my comprehension. The Italian ambassador should send a letter to this place in order for them to stop using that qualification. Group of 7, I ordered calzone. Any flavour that might have been in there was overpowered by Kalamata olives. It left a bitter taste in my mouth, which wasn't the only problem. In fact, I hardly made it to home as I was having cramps in my "interiors" and I had to rush...you know where. Sick as a dog. The issue is not just about nothing there is Italian, the issue is that after having given them the benefit of the doubt 3 times, the only conclusion is that I don't like what they serve, and I'll never go back.

Dine in experience has always been ok at best. Staff more concerned about their make up and mobile phones. Today, being at home sick, I used uber eats. Where do I start? Food was delivered cold. Forgot the accompanying drink i ordered then told me to come get it when i called to complain....totally not the purpose of paying for a delivery service . Better still , forgot to put me on hold while investigating my complaint and could hear the rude staff saying ' i dont remember if i gave it to the uber driver' (meaning they dont double check their orders), and ' this is doing my head in' ( so probably a common occurrence). Terrible experience La Porchetta. Lost me.

One star tooo many but since I can’t leave a review if I don’t leave a star rating then it only gets 1 star. I was there last night and ordered a reef and beef.. I have this dish a lot at other restaurants as it’s one of my favorites.. a nice big rib eye steak with seafood on top. Well not here.. the steak was clearly cut in half and thinner than a porterhouse and there was literally only 2 prawns on it. It was over cooked when I asked for medium rare and it was highly priced at $38.90. I use to come here a lot but I think now I will go to la fiesta which has rib eye more than double the size for the same price.. not happy at all!!

Hi, I ordered Chef's special fish and chips with salad, followed by an amazing chocolate lava volcano. The serving size was massive and it could easily feed 2 people, Chef was kind enough to give me a takeaway container for leftovers. The fish was tender and juicy from inside and crispy from outside. Chips were perfect with seasonal salad. It was a perfect meal and the atmosphere was so calming. Definitely a place to visit if you love Italian food. The dessert was amazing. Food was not good at all. Fish was too smelly. Special vegetarian pizza had too much diced tomatoes and tomato sauce totally contradictory to traditional Italian Pizzas. This review is not to defame this business but to make the owners and chefs realise hopefully this joint makes enough money to make this business worthwhile and customers can enjoy the meal for which they are paying decent money. The blonde hair lady is just rude and very lazy, I had a coffee thick shake that once received was a warm milkshake I informed the lady who just returned the drink and all she did was add ice cream the drink was undrinkable. The service is the worst part at no point did we get offered table water or asked how everything is the staff are too busy talking to each other and smoking out side the premises just looks disgusting from a customers Perspective. It’s unfortunate because the pizza was quite tasty but the customer experience was horrible. Will not return and will advise others of this poor venue...

La Porchetta. The first time I bought something for takeaway from La Porchetta Cragieburn was a Porterhouse steak. It was ok. But this time, Today I gave them another try and The porterhouse steak(Medium rare) was cooked well and Was delicious served with a side of chips and Mushroom sauce. The customer service was also well. (As of 6/6/2023)>>>The customer service was great. I tried a steak meal again And the quality/taste of their steaks are not consistent.

Pros: a vegan menu that tastes pretty good, if super oily Cons: being charged $16 for a small bowl of plain penne for my toddler. Not being warned that the small bowl of plain pasta ordered would be charged at full meal price. Having to prompt the staff to bring out said meal after sending it back because it wasn’t in fact presented as plain pasta. Being given a token $5 discount after complaining to the manager about said ridiculous pricing and poor service. I will not be back, which is a shame, as the vegan menu was rather exciting.

Unfortunately the floor staff have no idea about dietary requirements. I urge management to reconsider training their staff in getting orders correctly when dealing with allergies. It's crucial in the hospitality industry. I've spoken to management about this and they were quite apologetic on behalf of their young staff that keep making these mistakes - especially getting a gluten free order wrong. I hope their mistake (which made me unwell), will be used to further train staff and improve their practices overall.

The food is consistently decent but this is overshadowed by the way the restaurant acoustics amplify the noise of every screeching toddler in the place! There were at least 3-4 of these little beasts present when I visited with my elderly parents but they were pretty much all we could hear the entire time we were there, to the point that we had to shout to hear each other.

Tonight was very disappointing. Ordered garlic bread never came. Ordered orange juice and apple juice for the kids never came. Ordered a glass of shiraz never came. When I mentioned it a quick apology was made with no eye contact and a 10% discount was given. I would have preferred a genuine apology and one before going up to the counter and being asked again how everything was. Managment new about the stuff up b4 going to the counter no attempt was made to win the customer or the kids over.

This place has disgusted me. I go out for a lovely lunch with with my daughter and her friends, and just while bragging about the food and how amazing it was, I get served my vegetable soup and at the bottom of the bowl as I am taking my last sip instead of an actual vegetable I found I good old nice cockroach. WORST SERVICE. I DONT recommend this for any occasion that includes eating. DO NOT GO THERE. I gave this one star because it wouldn't let me post it unless I had a star rating.

I just wanted to say a MASSIVE Thank you to the staff . We had a little b day party for my 7 year old before heading to the movies. I was responsible for 8 children and it was crazy !!! . The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the pizza was delicious ! Thanks so much for making our day :)

Went there for father's Day lunch and ordered the seafood paella as it sounded great. At absolutely NO STAGE WHATEVER was there any mention that it had chilli, which I can't eat! An absolute waste of $28, ended up getting a burger from Schnitz. And someone really needs to teach this restaurant about acoustics. It's so loud in there you literally have to lean over the table to talk to the others. Never again.

1. Waiter seated us in a tiny corner, the seating plan was extremely close with no space, one of the other customers had to move to their next table it was so close. 2. Waiter came to our table after we were seated, pointed out how dirty it was and never came back to clean it. 3. Waited 20 minutes to get water and had to ask twice. When the waiter finally brought us our water the glass was dirty.

This is by far the worst italian restaurant i ve ever been to! The staff is lovely but the food is anything but authentic italian! Canned mushrooms and frozen pumkins & spinech in my pasta! No visiable chicken in my partner's pollo fungi. Everything taste bland. I am not Italian and I probably can cook italian food better.

Food was soo good! Experience was wonderful! Had the Garlic Prawns with Chips and butter chicken special suggested by the lovely lady who served myself and my husband. Portions were very generous and our server really knew what she was talking about. The ladies at the register are also very friendly and had a good laugh with them. Will be back very soon!

in my opinion this place isnt even worth one star. I ordered pasta take away i came home to eat it and there was a long black hair in it about 25-30 cm long and i called them response was sorry can do anything its probably mushroom hair. Will be complaining to consumer affairs ombudman and work safe about their hygiene.

If you want your food on time and ready....don’t order here. I rang at 3:00 for a 4:45pm pick up. Surely regardless of the size of my order one hour and 45 minutes is long enough. I have people waiting for me and only a small amount of time to eat yet it’s now after 5pm and I’m still here waiting. No apology - nothing.

I have always rank La Porchetta as a fast food chain of restaurant. Except for pizza they are probably not good at other dishes and it is the same here in Craigieburn. However, the service here is probably better than other La Porchetta in the city. Nice and clean restaturant. Not a bad choice for the area.

Went with a friend and my salmon pizza came out so late after my friends main meal that I honestly thought the salmon was coming straight from ocean fresh hence the time delay. No apology from staff and management were very rude do not care at all. I will never come back and would not recommend to anyone!!!

Food was really bad, we ordered Uber eats due to good reviews on it but apparently some of them had same experience as we did. The chips tasted awful and somehow raw??? The pizza is too salty and the pastry is burned but not crispy at all. Garlic bread is fine. In general, not recommended.

I’m appalled at how a chef at this joint can call himself a chef. A simple cabonara must not be simple these days. Have some pride and quality in your food. There is not point in being a chef if your heart is not in it . It not just the way the pasta was poorly cooked it’s the principle.

The chicken scaloppine was very good. Mushroom sauce was fantastic and the chicken was tender. Only comment i would give is that the vegetables were slightly inconsistent, some over steamed in comparison to others. Overall, would definitely recommend the dish. Nice place too.

Been coming here for a long time. Recently stopped in for Pizzas and didn't enjoy the Marinara at all, and my father in law also found an olive pip in his pizza which nearly broke his tooth. Service was good & friendly staff, but the place doesn't seem like it used to.

Had takeway last night purchased two pizzas and fish bites with chips. The pizza was soggy and so was the fish bires. Very disappointed we normally love La porchetta pizzas. Being going to La Porchetta for 25 yrs hopefully things will change!!
