I used to come here regularly back when my parents and siblings were able to, so this is the first time I dined in for a long time. Unfortunately for disabled people, the main area is still upstairs so I am unsure about access. There is a ground level area inside but it looked unused. There are actually only two pasta dishes I truly love, and they are the Alla Matriciana, and the carbonara. I usually only ever stick with entree serves, but even with this size, I struggle to fit it all in, especially if I get a lime bitters and a garlic bread. For noodles, I always seem to order the gnocchi. Gnocchi is not something we do (think: almost never) so I take the opportunity to get it - the few times I go out anyway. And I never regret it. I usually enjoy the place but it depends who else is eating there as well. Parents and kids are still the worst. No joke, this time there was some kid rearranging the chairs. Sometimes I think covid needed to be deadlier. Great staff, lovely decor, but more importantly awesome food. Price is reasonable too. I'll be back... one day. Just prepare for the worst if you dine in, they get all sorts of families in there.

Had the west experience here really bad customer service, my partner and I came I. The restaurant because it says they close at 9:30, we walked in the guys down stairs said yes still open send them up the stairs, we where greeted by the lady with long hair she didn’t look to happy she said, you will need to get your order in as kitchen closes 9:30, we said ok no problem, we arrived at about 9pm she came over took our order, I ordered pasta, my partner ordered a pizza, my chicken and avo pasta came Out after say 10 mins, it was so bland the chicken was over cooked! My partner pizza came out 5 mins later. The. The bigger waiter came over and said you have 10 mins to eat your food! As we are Closing! My partner looked at me with shock, They rushed us out the door he didn’t even get to eat half his pizza that was so oily and pizza base was more like a bread not pizza! Save your money and go els where shocking cooked by aussies who can’t cook

my family took us there for Fathers Day dinner. It was fairly quiet with only about 1/3 of the tables occupied. One main was brought out first before the entrees and we had to wait for the rest of the mains. Then the first entree came out half way through and the last entree came out when we were nearly finished. We sent it back and then they returned saying it would be complimentary. The bruschetta turned out to be pizza, not bread. The room was freezing cold and when we asked if they could turn on the heating they said the best they could do was turn off the air-conditioning! On an evening when it was 7 degrees outside. PS. If customers need to climb steep stairs to get to the restaurant, put it on the website as we did not know and one of our party struggled to use the stairs. Sorry, but I won't return

Lots of choices on the menu which was great We ordered (takeaway) an entree - salt and pepper squid and for mains gnocchi and the pumpkin spinach pasta. SO good. It was delicious. My tastebuds approve! Definitely would buy again. Wasn’t cheap at $70 for two but that did include an entrée, one small main and one large and it was quality. No one can work for nothing. Very happy that there was plenty in the mains, so did not go hungry at all, and quite pleased that we have enough for another night so if you’re budget conscious - aren’t we all right now - then this is a great option.

A restaurant is only as good as its last service! My family brought me to this La Porchetta for a lovely Mother’s Day dinner; I was looking forward to my marinara risotto (which we had the last time we were here & happens to be my usual dish at every other La Porchetta we’ve been to). The floor manager was rude and challenged us saying “in my 2 years working here, we would never have made any exceptions like your order”!! Appalling manners ti say the least!!! I ended up changing my order to gluten-free marinara spaghetti; instead was given a VERY SALTY Napoletana only pasta which was hardly edible & cost over $25 for an entree size!! Terrible service, terrible food - Not coming back!

Absolutely the best La Porchetta in Victoria. Great variety of food, excellent quality, and even better service from a fantastic team run by dedicated owners. We have eaten there every week for the last eight months or so, and the standard is consistently brilliant.

We had a large (40 adults and children) family dinner tonight and we couldn’t be happier with our choice of restaurant and location. From the first phone call to arrange the booking through to the final details, the manager went above and beyond to make sure our evening was easy, friendly and delicious. Even though they we a couple of staff short, they worked so hard to tend to all our family and the food was excellent, hot and quickly served. Thank-you again for your flexibility, attentiveness and hospitality, we would love to do another one soon!

Very sad and unfortunate experience. Steak was covered in garlicky, lemony sauce that wasn't ordered and was terribly overcooked (ordered mid rare got mid well). Whilst I ate the food, it was only because I was starving and didn't want to wait for another meal. Supervisor was full of excuses and frankly rude. Will not be coming back. Standards have well and truly fallen here.

Absolutely disgusting! I ordered a simple pasta meal, it was dry and tasted microwaved. I returned it after a mouth full and I have never returned my food before! Even the water was warm! We asked for cold water and they said no and there was some sitting in the fridge right next to us. Staff were terribly rude and were also wearing thongs and trackies as there uniform!

This was without comparison the worst tortellini I had ever had in my life. The excess pepper blew away any other flavour and the beef was more like chunks of pork. It is criminal that this food should be sold. Horrid

The food had no business being as good as it was. Portions are generous. Lasagna is very meaty and the salad was fresh and crisp and perfectly dressed. They also have a reasonable drinks selection and a few tap beers. Customer service was really lovely and friendly too. Will definitely be back :)

Super friendly staff and very clean. I don’t often rave about food but the chips here are by far the best I’ve ever had. Crunchy on the outside with the best batter you’ve ever tasted and soft on the inside. Absolutely perfect. Lovely wait staff too.

Visited four times in the hope it will get better and because I hate Dominoes. However the food has always been poor quality. The service from staff is always grumpy and monosyllabic and makes you feel like your are making their life very hard. I have given up letting them have second chances

Got take away pizza from here and it was terrible. Got a garlic pizza that was actually inedible. The American I got was tasteless and the salami was dry and over cooked on top. I’m generally easy to please so the fact that I’m giving a poor review is saying something. Up your game! More

Custom support lady was great. The only thing was I ordered a rib eye with veggies, but I was served half mash potatoes and veggies. After I ate, I was nauseated and my stomach aches the whole afternoon and night. I felt better on the following day. It was a worse experience.

In store menu needs updating. Asap. Ordered my pasta meal and thinking I was paying $19.90. Then proceeded to pay the cost of $25.00. Mmm I hope its not just been microwaved. Big price increase.

Ordered for dine in , I should have suspected when the lady with no smiles dropped the pasta from my head level on to the table in a take away container. Took a bite of the pasta , and spat it back in the container. Easily 2-3 day old food

Had a function in there newly refurbished room. Staff were amazing. $20 per head endless pizza and pasta minimum 20 people. Fantastic staff, couldn’t be more pleased. The food was plentiful and amazing. This will be a regular venue for us!

Had lunch here today with my partner and it was amazing, the waitress was lovely and accommodating, she was also very knowledgeable about what was GF on the menu. The fresh juice was amazing and made right in front of you.
