We couldn't recommend Lilac and the Cat enough after the amazing work that the lovely Jane did on our wedding flowers in Dec 2020. She is a florist extraordinaire and has a heart of gold. We loved getting to know her and learning more about her ethical and sustainable business in the lead up to our wedding. Jane was incredibly kind and understanding when our wedding date and plans changed, thanks to COVID. She created us the most stunning bridal party flowers and buttonholes, as well as corsages and buttonholes for our parents and nans, and flower arrangements for our arbor and tables.

This place is a true gem. With kind & thoughtful consultation the most stunning arrangement was prepared. No-one in the hospital had ever seen anything like it. It gave my mum pure joy. Thank you. Another 2 marvellous experiences from this exceptional place - a wonderful arrangement for my dad's birthday. And today Jane herself delivered a stunning piece for my birthday. Even crossed 2 rivers to do it! This small business is such a pleasure to deal with. Talented, genuine, caring, warm.

Took a punt and ordered a bouquet online for my 92 year-old aunt's birthday. Jane delivered it free of charge to my door the next morning. My aunt said it was the most beautiful bouquet she had ever received in her life and it gave her days of pleasure as she sat contemplating its beauty. Thank you, Jane. This florist is like no other. In todays cluttered market place its refreshing to find a business such as Lilac And The Cat with a simple and clear point of difference. Whilst selling our home, Jane ensured that our home was filled with lush green plants and the most creative flower arrangements throughout the campaign. She came into our home to get a feel for the spaces and her ideas were just perfect! Most of the flowers lasted for weeks!! Jane is so talented, creative and lovely! Highly recommend!!

Absolute great vibes, from the design of flowers, to the incredibly thoughtful range of gifts, books, and plant holders (the up-cycled basketballs are awesome!). This a space that is serious about sustainability and respecting Country. We will be coming back regularly.
