"This is a lovely little park and it looks well taken care of"
Council have been promising to do more with the place for over 10 years but progress has been glacial. The park is often a magnet for trail bike riders which the council have done little to control. Walking tracks have been added but there are no playground equipment which is a shame given the number of families with kids living nearby. Recent excavations have exposed disgusting rubbish close to the surface which suggests council could have done much better in cleaning it up before it was opened to the public years ago.
This park is a great place to spend time with family and friends. The wide open grass area provides plenty of space for kids and dogs to play, run around, and enjoy the outdoors. The facilities are well-maintained, and the park is clean and tidy. The BBQ facilities are perfect for hosting a family gathering or a picnic with friends. The cricket nets are a fantastic addition to the park. Toilets are clean and well stocked.
This park is good if you're looking to walk around in circles looking at some trees or a large oval to run around in. The amount of potential space for play spaces, gym equipment, public barbecues etc is endless but alas the council has done nothing about this yet. Llewellyn park has the potential to become the Jells Park of Wantirna South but the council still has not anything about it.
A really interesting place. My missus and a lot of her like minded people went there for a "ladies" weekend away. Whilst waiting for her to pack up her scrapbook stuff I had a good walk around the place with my dog. Schools would love it here. There is a heap of activity themes such as archery, challenging physical activities. Just saying. Cheers Ian
This is a lovely little park and it looks well taken care of. It's always nice and quiet. The only negative thing is that people tend to not pick up their dogs poop, which is very disgusting and makes other dog owners look bad. There are even piles of poop right next to bin! Other than that it's a nice park.
My own private place of heaven that can be viewed from my back window. It is part of the metro Melbourne biketrack, and during lockdown it is very busy. It just needs a few more amenities for visitors and it will be perfect.
Lots of open space, and paths great for exercising your dog. New toilet facilities and under cover bbq area. Bush areas around edges of the reserve are very weedy
Great for a walk but makes one hell of a cross country. Got 30th every time, must've been rigged because i think I was better than my classmates.
Great for the family, cleared area of two ovals and multiple walking/riding tracks going around the park.
Home of Eastside Fpv MELBOURNE .... largest drone racing club in the Southern Hemisphere #eastsideforlife
Large open spaces with short bush tracks off to the side. Lots of locals use this area for exercising.
Needs checking... Entrance actually off George Street, then Llewellyn Park Drive. Not Forsteyn Drive
Large ovals and spaces for walking. The building is unused and fenced off so there is not much here
Great spot. Picnic tables, wide open spaces, shade, bike track, Walking distance to coffee shop.
Very poor drainage & hence a cricket match couldn't be played despite it being a great day .
Beautiful wide open space great, but needs promised investment by Knox council.
Very wet underfoot after a few days of rain....much better when its dry
Water logged, no drainage, very open and susceptible to high winds
Great public place so many good memories and time spent here.
Just a wide open space, good for walking, ball sports, etc
Good place to fly rc aircraft, specifically FPV drones.
Nice park to get away from the rest of the busy world
Nice park. Two ovals. Drone racing there today.
Beautiful, very open space park, needs work but
