I had seen this park when driving along the road, and I had noticed the Werribee river below. It is a little park, with one picnic table. There are no toilets nor are there any BBQ's. You can access the river by a steep unmade path. I assume some people fish down the river, as I saw plenty of fish. However, people who go down to the river don't take care of the place. There is so much rubbish and waste left around near the banks - even though there are three large rubbish bins provided! Be careful in the tall grass, as in summer there could be snakes, but the greatest danger could be waste from people using it as a toilet.

Please tell me this place is under renovation. Pretty much it’s a round piece of land with grass, poorly managed and maintained. Hazards everywhere. Won’t recommend any family time. It’s kinda under the middle of 2 bridge legs, well, embrace the nature, maybe…… The location is very tricky to park and to take off, it’s a T shape traffic conjunction, can be very busy and dangerous to pull over and drive away from.

Very good point for relax in nature close to melton. Nearby attractions is melton dam just 5 minutes drive form this place. Good walking track but ne mindful of steep slope down to reach to river bank. Worth visit on weekands.

Beautiful park, only shade was near the overflowing bins unfortunately. On a great note the park is well kept, beautiful geographic ridge. Apart from the bin and lacking shade it was a cute little park

Good afternoon kick back park for Melton locals, park is suitable for a cricket match, river fliws through with a waterfall behind the bush, have seen people go down for fishing

been here once for views and walks. vodafone has poor coverage down this end cant make a call if something serious happens. the place is great for fishing too.

Nice small reserve for picnic or outdoor meeting near Melbourne. Sit down and relax enjoying birds sounds under the roof …

Beautiful surroundings but completely ruined by people dumping bags of rubbish that end up strewn all over the place.

Good for a family picnic spot but not really a walking trail, you can cover the whole reserve in just 10 min
